00:00:38--> 00:00:39

I wanna start.

00:00:43--> 00:00:45

Okay. Bismillah, I think we're live.

00:01:10--> 00:01:11

It always works out. Anyway,

00:01:13--> 00:01:15

why are we here, Tariq? Let the audience

00:01:15--> 00:01:16

know.

00:01:16--> 00:01:18

We are here tonight, brothers and sisters,

00:01:18--> 00:01:20

to support Islam

00:01:21--> 00:01:23

21 c and you are privileged on this

00:01:23--> 00:01:25

night. There could be day little card that

00:01:25--> 00:01:26

could be the odd night of Ramadan in

00:01:26--> 00:01:29

these last 10 days. You have the opportunity

00:01:29--> 00:01:31

to support Islam 21

00:01:32--> 00:01:34

c and one of its core campaigns,

00:01:34--> 00:01:36

Palestine truth. Inshallah.

00:01:37--> 00:01:38

We'll be talking a lot more about that

00:01:38--> 00:01:41

Inshallah. Saman's got some juicy information, some stats,

00:01:41--> 00:01:43

some figures, a bit more about the campaign

00:01:43--> 00:01:43

Inshallah.

00:01:44--> 00:01:46

But about those discussions we're gonna be having

00:01:46--> 00:01:48

tonight inshallah, we'll have some special guests coming

00:01:48--> 00:01:49

for you very soon as well.

00:01:50--> 00:01:51

But the idea is for you to learn,

00:01:51--> 00:01:53

understand, and be ready to act to make

00:01:53--> 00:01:55

a difference. And we are calling on you

00:01:55--> 00:01:57

tonight to act, to support this cause,

00:01:58--> 00:02:01

to support Islam 21 c in their campaign

00:02:01--> 00:02:03

Palestine truth inshallah. We all know what's going

00:02:03--> 00:02:05

on around the world. This is

00:02:05--> 00:02:06

unprecedented.

00:02:06--> 00:02:07

We haven't seen

00:02:07--> 00:02:09

a catastrophe like this in a long time.

00:02:10--> 00:02:12

And even if there's something that's been of

00:02:12--> 00:02:13

a similar scale, a similar magnitude,

00:02:14--> 00:02:16

the narrative that has been brought forward around

00:02:16--> 00:02:18

this, that is definitely unprecedented.

00:02:19--> 00:02:20

It's changing mindsets,

00:02:20--> 00:02:22

paradigm shifts. So, Alhamdulill, we got a lot

00:02:22--> 00:02:24

to talk about tonight, Insha'Allah,

00:02:24--> 00:02:25

and we'd love to get your support as

00:02:25--> 00:02:28

well. Gonna be joining my chef, doctor Sajid

00:02:28--> 00:02:30

Omar as well. Inshallah, he's and if you

00:02:30--> 00:02:32

might be wondering where is he,

00:02:32--> 00:02:35

we're just, because he wanted to do these

00:02:35--> 00:02:36

streams in a

00:02:37--> 00:02:37

with

00:02:38--> 00:02:39

as little,

00:02:40--> 00:02:42

interruption to people's airbags as possible. We're squeezing

00:02:42--> 00:02:45

it in between Tarawee and, you know, PM.

00:02:45--> 00:02:47

Yeah, man. So, he's just finishing up his

00:02:47--> 00:02:49

Tarawee in his local machine and heading back

00:02:49--> 00:02:51

to his home now. He'll be with us,

00:02:52--> 00:02:53

at some point soon.

00:02:54--> 00:02:54

Insha'Allah.

00:02:55--> 00:02:56

Insha'Allah. Fantastic.

00:02:56--> 00:02:59

Well, brothers and sisters, tonight is a special

00:02:59--> 00:03:01

night. I'm sure some of you, are maybe

00:03:01--> 00:03:03

hanging around the Masjid, maybe on your phones,

00:03:03--> 00:03:05

maybe you've just come home after Tawawir.

00:03:06--> 00:03:07

And you know, I

00:03:08--> 00:03:10

read a quote tonight and it said that

00:03:10--> 00:03:11

it was a quote by 1 a big

00:03:11--> 00:03:14

Sheikh and, his name eludes me, but the

00:03:14--> 00:03:15

point is very powerful. That does not elude

00:03:15--> 00:03:17

me. He said, don't just search

00:03:19--> 00:03:21

for the lay little Qadr in between the

00:03:21--> 00:03:22

pillars of the masjid.

00:03:22--> 00:03:24

And he mentions he goes on to list

00:03:24--> 00:03:26

a bunch of different ways that you can

00:03:26--> 00:03:27

search for.

00:03:27--> 00:03:28

He mentions

00:03:28--> 00:03:31

to clothe the poor, to feed the hungry,

00:03:31--> 00:03:33

to help the Ummah. And he goes on

00:03:33--> 00:03:35

and on listing these things. So

00:03:35--> 00:03:37

this point is very pertinent tonight, brothers and

00:03:37--> 00:03:38

sisters. You know, sometimes

00:03:39--> 00:03:40

we are

00:03:40--> 00:03:42

almost deceived to think that

00:03:42--> 00:03:44

is just for us and our own personal

00:03:44--> 00:03:44

Ibada.

00:03:45--> 00:03:46

But the prophet Muhammad alaihi wa sallam said

00:03:46--> 00:03:48

to me profound. And

00:03:48--> 00:03:50

as someone being in this sector,

00:03:50--> 00:03:52

you know, working with charities for many years,

00:03:52--> 00:03:54

I've always had to look for inspiration and

00:03:54--> 00:03:56

this is that one hadith that kept me

00:03:56--> 00:03:57

going and it says

00:03:57--> 00:03:58

the prophet Muhammad

00:03:59--> 00:04:01

said, it is more beloved to me

00:04:01--> 00:04:03

to help my brother in his time of

00:04:03--> 00:04:06

need than to spend the whole month in

00:04:06--> 00:04:08

it to in my Masjid and he's referring

00:04:08--> 00:04:09

of course to where

00:04:10--> 00:04:13

the deeds are a 1000 times more awardable.

00:04:13--> 00:04:16

So if this was the sacrifice the prophet

00:04:16--> 00:04:18

Muhammad was willing to wake, make for himself

00:04:18--> 00:04:19

and his own Ibadah,

00:04:20--> 00:04:21

but for the greater good of helping a

00:04:21--> 00:04:22

Muslim,

00:04:23--> 00:04:25

because they're going through difficulties, they're going through

00:04:25--> 00:04:25

hardship,

00:04:26--> 00:04:27

then what can we say for

00:04:28--> 00:04:30

the opportunity to invest in an organization like

00:04:30--> 00:04:33

Islam 21 c, who is defending the rights

00:04:33--> 00:04:35

of Muslims, who is protecting their identity,

00:04:35--> 00:04:36

who is trying to bring them out of

00:04:36--> 00:04:38

the depths of darkness into light.

00:04:39--> 00:04:41

So we understand Islam deeper. We understand

00:04:42--> 00:04:44

Islam in a more meaningful way. And you

00:04:44--> 00:04:45

have the opportunity tonight not just to do

00:04:45--> 00:04:46

your own

00:04:47--> 00:04:51

you know, Quran, Dua, Athkar, all these beautiful

00:04:51--> 00:04:53

things that bring us close to Allah.

00:04:53--> 00:04:56

But maybe maybe tonight's the night that by

00:04:56--> 00:04:58

supporting an organization like Islam 21 C,

00:05:00--> 00:05:02

the deeds you'll get from that will will

00:05:02--> 00:05:04

maybe Allah knows best outshadow the other personal

00:05:04--> 00:05:07

deeds you did for yourself because the impact

00:05:07--> 00:05:09

is so much greater. So inshallah,

00:05:10--> 00:05:11

very simple for you to donate. You just

00:05:11--> 00:05:12

go to slam 21c.comforward/live.

00:05:15--> 00:05:16

That's where you can watch us. You can

00:05:16--> 00:05:18

also find donation links there. We'd also love

00:05:18--> 00:05:20

to hear from people. You can call in

00:05:20--> 00:05:21

now on 0

00:05:22--> 00:05:22

7769-433-414.

00:05:24--> 00:05:26

Let's see who gets the call first, me

00:05:26--> 00:05:26

or someone.

00:05:27--> 00:05:29

Yeah? So brothers and sisters, we are looking

00:05:29--> 00:05:29

for

00:05:30--> 00:05:33

an a number of special people to donate

00:05:33--> 00:05:34

special amounts.

00:05:34--> 00:05:36

Let's start with a £100. Okay?

00:05:36--> 00:05:38

We're looking for

00:05:38--> 00:05:39

50 people

00:05:40--> 00:05:41

to donate £100.

00:05:42--> 00:05:45

50 people to donate £100, and that will

00:05:45--> 00:05:47

help us to reach our target tonight of

00:05:47--> 00:05:47

£5,000.

00:05:48--> 00:05:50

Personally, I think we can do it. And

00:05:50--> 00:05:51

if you're ever gonna say we can do

00:05:51--> 00:05:53

it on a night, this is the night

00:05:53--> 00:05:54

to say

00:05:54--> 00:05:55

it. So

00:05:56--> 00:05:57

brothers and sisters,

00:05:57--> 00:05:59

for those who are out there suffering

00:06:00--> 00:06:02

and they're sick, maybe we should give on

00:06:02--> 00:06:03

their behalf.

00:06:03--> 00:06:05

For those who are out there going through

00:06:05--> 00:06:06

hardship

00:06:07--> 00:06:10

and they're looking to push the calamity away

00:06:10--> 00:06:12

from them, then maybe they should give and

00:06:12--> 00:06:14

that calamity will be worn off as a

00:06:14--> 00:06:16

result. For those who have got loved ones

00:06:16--> 00:06:19

who've passed away, they're no longer with us,

00:06:19--> 00:06:21

then maybe we can invest in that inshallah

00:06:22--> 00:06:23

and give them the opportunity

00:06:24--> 00:06:26

to have deeds come to the grave because

00:06:26--> 00:06:28

you, a son or a daughter invested inshallah.

00:06:28--> 00:06:31

So please tonight support us love 21 C.

00:06:31--> 00:06:33

So let's talk a little bit about the

00:06:33--> 00:06:34

campaign.

00:06:34--> 00:06:37

What is Palestine truth? Why did it come

00:06:37--> 00:06:38

to fruition?

00:06:38--> 00:06:40

What's the objective? What are you trying to

00:06:40--> 00:06:43

achieve from it? Let's talk a bit about

00:06:43--> 00:06:43

that inshallah.

00:06:44--> 00:06:46

Well, we have a, we have a little

00:06:46--> 00:06:48

presentation actually. Should we bring that up on

00:06:48--> 00:06:50

the screen? Let's go for it.

00:06:50--> 00:06:51

Let's see what happens when

00:06:52--> 00:06:55

hopefully, nothing will, start melting into,

00:06:55--> 00:06:56

blame. Okay. Wicked.

00:06:57--> 00:06:58

So, yes,

00:06:58--> 00:06:59

campaign we have,

00:07:00--> 00:07:01

because sometimes

00:07:01--> 00:07:04

we've been around for almost 20 years. We

00:07:04--> 00:07:05

were saying the other day on the first

00:07:05--> 00:07:06

live from Shafei.

00:07:07--> 00:07:10

And, the best of that longevity is that

00:07:10--> 00:07:12

sometimes things might be a bit cantankerous. We

00:07:12--> 00:07:13

don't have the agility for us as a

00:07:13--> 00:07:15

same agility as a small,

00:07:15--> 00:07:18

new organization, but you do have those processes

00:07:18--> 00:07:19

and and and

00:07:20--> 00:07:22

and, structures in place, alhamdulillah. One of them

00:07:22--> 00:07:23

is these campaign

00:07:25--> 00:07:28

initiation documents and these campaign plans and process

00:07:28--> 00:07:30

and stuff like that. So similar we like

00:07:30--> 00:07:32

we done for the oil campaign, Sanford,

00:07:33--> 00:07:34

the in the issues campaign. We've got a

00:07:34--> 00:07:37

few campaigns that we're planning to get to

00:07:37--> 00:07:39

a point doing a few a year. And

00:07:39--> 00:07:42

this Palestine truth campaign, obviously, it came out

00:07:42--> 00:07:44

of, the genocide on Gaza.

00:07:44--> 00:07:45

And it's,

00:07:45--> 00:07:48

it's it's there to do basically what it

00:07:48--> 00:07:49

says on screen. So,

00:07:50--> 00:07:52

tackling some of the misinformation,

00:07:53--> 00:07:54

tackling the disinformation,

00:07:54--> 00:07:56

tackling the lies and so forth,

00:07:57--> 00:07:59

in a robust way using different types of

00:07:59--> 00:07:59

multimedia.

00:08:00--> 00:08:03

There's so much stuff out there already,

00:08:03--> 00:08:03

but,

00:08:04--> 00:08:06

some people might get kind of, almost

00:08:07--> 00:08:09

inhibited by the the scale and the magnitude

00:08:09--> 00:08:09

of,

00:08:10--> 00:08:12

the information like an overload.

00:08:13--> 00:08:14

But Alhamdulillah, we've been working,

00:08:15--> 00:08:18

in the background with specialists, with people. We

00:08:18--> 00:08:20

had also a book published, alhamdulillah, in our

00:08:20--> 00:08:21

annual dinner,

00:08:22--> 00:08:24

by, Hamza Tortoise, who will be joining us

00:08:24--> 00:08:25

in a few days, inshallah, for these live

00:08:25--> 00:08:26

streams,

00:08:27--> 00:08:28

on specific kind of key,

00:08:29--> 00:08:31

disinformation points to to set the narrative,

00:08:32--> 00:08:34

straight using high quality

00:08:34--> 00:08:35

multimedia, you know,

00:08:36--> 00:08:39

products and so forth to, you know, so

00:08:39--> 00:08:43

education, promoting awareness, busting myths, you know, boycott

00:08:43--> 00:08:46

guidance, FAQs, Palestinian sharing Palestinian voices,

00:08:47--> 00:08:49

and things like that. So a very,

00:08:49--> 00:08:50

kind of

00:08:53--> 00:08:55

concise coordinated campaign

00:08:55--> 00:08:56

on

00:08:56--> 00:08:59

addressing the misinformation about the Palestinian cause. Because

00:08:59--> 00:09:01

at the end of the day, this is

00:09:03--> 00:09:05

a this is a battle of narratives and

00:09:05--> 00:09:07

discourse. You know? Shafaeta was saying the other

00:09:07--> 00:09:09

day that this is, you know, where the

00:09:09--> 00:09:09

the main

00:09:10--> 00:09:11

lots of people are saying this is where

00:09:11--> 00:09:13

the main kind of, battle is now, you

00:09:13--> 00:09:16

know, between truth and falsehood. It's not simply,

00:09:16--> 00:09:18

you know, physical warfare like maybe used to

00:09:18--> 00:09:20

be back in the day, but it's actual,

00:09:20--> 00:09:23

you know, propaganda, fighting propaganda,

00:09:24--> 00:09:27

with truth, you know. And, this this is

00:09:27--> 00:09:29

this is you know, what what it boils

00:09:29--> 00:09:31

down to. It was similar. It was like

00:09:31--> 00:09:33

this. It's always been like this to some

00:09:33--> 00:09:34

degree. You know?

00:09:35--> 00:09:37

I don't know if we, depending on your

00:09:37--> 00:09:39

masjid, what how what just you're reading,

00:09:40--> 00:09:42

in the, for example, but today or yesterday

00:09:42--> 00:09:44

or tomorrow, you would have come across Surah

00:09:44--> 00:09:46

Fusilat, you know, and I was just listening

00:09:46--> 00:09:46

that,

00:09:47--> 00:09:48

you know, they say

00:09:48--> 00:09:49

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says, Waqalalazin

00:09:50--> 00:09:50

kafrullahatisma'ulihadil

00:09:52--> 00:09:53

Quran.

00:09:53--> 00:09:55

These disbelievers, the people in Mecca, they they

00:09:55--> 00:09:58

would say don't listen to this Quran

00:10:00--> 00:10:02

and make noise during it.

00:10:03--> 00:10:05

Yeah. So other people can't listen.

00:10:08--> 00:10:10

Yeah so there's a causal relationship here. Don't

00:10:10--> 00:10:13

listen to this Quran, make noise during its

00:10:13--> 00:10:13

recitation

00:10:14--> 00:10:15

so that you may

00:10:15--> 00:10:16

be victorious.

00:10:17--> 00:10:19

Right? So the victory of, of falsehood,

00:10:19--> 00:10:21

even in a physical sense is linked

00:10:22--> 00:10:24

to hiding the truth, stopping people, listening to

00:10:24--> 00:10:25

the truth,

00:10:26--> 00:10:28

and and and so forth. So this is

00:10:28--> 00:10:30

something that's a kind of common thread throughout

00:10:30--> 00:10:32

history, you know, in Musa alayhis salam and

00:10:32--> 00:10:33

Firaun, we see and and Sheikh Al Sajid

00:10:33--> 00:10:35

when he comes we're gonna talk about this

00:10:35--> 00:10:37

in a bit more detail and share examples

00:10:37--> 00:10:37

of

00:10:39--> 00:10:41

disinformation encountering misinformation propaganda.

00:10:42--> 00:10:42

Musa alayhi salaam,

00:10:43--> 00:10:45

he his story in the Quran, you know,

00:10:45--> 00:10:46

it's there's no there's no

00:10:47--> 00:10:49

a coincidence that he's he's the most oft

00:10:49--> 00:10:50

quoted,

00:10:51--> 00:10:52

prophet and and the his story is the

00:10:52--> 00:10:54

most oft quoted story in the Quran.

00:10:55--> 00:10:57

It's full of lessons for us swadda and

00:10:57--> 00:11:00

he he was subjected to probably all the

00:11:00--> 00:11:00

same

00:11:01--> 00:11:03

categories of misinformation and propaganda

00:11:04--> 00:11:06

that we see today still You know, Firaun

00:11:07--> 00:11:08

he said to him what he said,

00:11:09--> 00:11:10

you know, weren't you the one who

00:11:11--> 00:11:13

we looked after as a child? You know,

00:11:13--> 00:11:13

trying to

00:11:14--> 00:11:16

impute some kind of sense of,

00:11:17--> 00:11:19

sense of duty or sense of having, you

00:11:19--> 00:11:22

know, other people owing you something. We see

00:11:22--> 00:11:22

this

00:11:23--> 00:11:23

today.

00:11:24--> 00:11:26

Didn't you kill someone and you did this

00:11:26--> 00:11:28

and you did that and then you ran

00:11:28--> 00:11:28

away

00:11:29--> 00:11:31

trying to change the subject,

00:11:32--> 00:11:34

attack the attack the person, ad hominem attacks,

00:11:34--> 00:11:36

for example. We see that all the time,

00:11:37--> 00:11:38

ignoring context.

00:11:48--> 00:11:50

Mala his chiefs you know the the chief

00:11:50--> 00:11:51

propagandists

00:11:51--> 00:11:52

included

00:11:52--> 00:11:54

is saying what are these people this Musa

00:11:54--> 00:11:56

and Harun they're just here to come to

00:11:56--> 00:11:57

drive you out of your

00:11:58--> 00:11:59

land

00:11:59--> 00:12:01

and you know do away with your exemplary

00:12:01--> 00:12:04

superior you know values and so forth.

00:12:04--> 00:12:07

There's national security threat basically you know. So

00:12:07--> 00:12:09

we see this right from the beginning and

00:12:09--> 00:12:11

all this type of misinformation disinformation

00:12:11--> 00:12:13

and it's being used against our Palestinian brothers

00:12:13--> 00:12:15

and sisters as well. And

00:12:16--> 00:12:16

there's there's

00:12:18--> 00:12:19

unfortunately

00:12:19--> 00:12:22

it's unfortunate that we don't have a proper

00:12:22--> 00:12:22

functioning

00:12:23--> 00:12:26

independent press that holds power to account

00:12:26--> 00:12:28

in pretty much all around the western world,

00:12:28--> 00:12:30

in terms of a mainstream press.

00:12:30--> 00:12:32

So we have to rely on

00:12:32--> 00:12:35

alternative voices now you know and Alhamdulillah as

00:12:35--> 00:12:37

soon as he was blessed to be one

00:12:37--> 00:12:39

of those alternative voices. There's so many others

00:12:39--> 00:12:41

and those alternative voices are getting

00:12:42--> 00:12:43

more and more

00:12:44--> 00:12:46

louder and louder and until there's too loud

00:12:46--> 00:12:48

to ignore you know. You know even even

00:12:48--> 00:12:48

in the

00:12:49--> 00:12:50

international court of justice we were saying the

00:12:50--> 00:12:52

other day they're showing clips from

00:12:53--> 00:12:56

outlets like Middle East Eye for example. So

00:12:56--> 00:12:56

alternate

00:12:59--> 00:13:00

media channels

00:13:00--> 00:13:01

that are

00:13:01--> 00:13:02

kind of bypassing

00:13:03--> 00:13:04

the mainstream,

00:13:05--> 00:13:07

media kind of bubble and putting stuff out

00:13:07--> 00:13:08

there directly.

00:13:08--> 00:13:10

Like Chris said the other many people have

00:13:10--> 00:13:12

been saying in this whole genocide Israel has

00:13:12--> 00:13:14

been telling you what's happened

00:13:14--> 00:13:16

with the Palestinians have been showing you what's

00:13:16--> 00:13:17

happening.

00:13:17--> 00:13:19

You know so we have we have a

00:13:19--> 00:13:21

duty to be their voice and to

00:13:22--> 00:13:23

amplify their voice

00:13:24--> 00:13:25

when it comes to these, you know,

00:13:26--> 00:13:26

our

00:13:27--> 00:13:29

our media outlets and so forth. And so

00:13:29--> 00:13:31

media is extremely, extremely important. This is where

00:13:32--> 00:13:34

this is what makes or breaks you know

00:13:35--> 00:13:35

uh-uh

00:13:35--> 00:13:38

state's ability to carry out genocide with impunity

00:13:39--> 00:13:41

you know as has been happening hitherto.

00:13:42--> 00:13:44

The the louder and louder we get, we

00:13:44--> 00:13:45

can get to a point where we're too

00:13:45--> 00:13:46

loud to ignore.

00:13:46--> 00:13:48

And that's that's the idea, but we need,

00:13:49--> 00:13:51

you know so I'm saying, Hamza was saying

00:13:51--> 00:13:52

actually,

00:13:54--> 00:13:55

some some,

00:13:56--> 00:13:58

Zionist businessmen got together and they raised, think

00:13:58--> 00:14:00

you said it. They raised, like, 50,000,000

00:14:00--> 00:14:02

in just one kind of fund. Yeah. To,

00:14:03--> 00:14:05

what was that? Tell us about that. Yeah.

00:14:05--> 00:14:07

So that that's an interesting so what people

00:14:08--> 00:14:08

don't realize

00:14:09--> 00:14:10

is that while

00:14:10--> 00:14:11

we scrape together

00:14:12--> 00:14:15

our fundraisers for humanitarian projects and we scrape

00:14:15--> 00:14:17

together our fundraisers for,

00:14:17--> 00:14:19

you know, all these different,

00:14:20--> 00:14:22

causes that we're trying to champion.

00:14:22--> 00:14:25

We have these different groups. For example, facts

00:14:25--> 00:14:27

for peace. They're a media group

00:14:27--> 00:14:28

based in America.

00:14:29--> 00:14:30

And it was started by a multi billionaire,

00:14:31--> 00:14:32

not even millionaire, multi billionaire,

00:14:34--> 00:14:36

guy, and he was actually targeting other Zionist

00:14:36--> 00:14:38

sympathizer billionaires

00:14:38--> 00:14:41

to raise more than 50,000,000 to try and

00:14:41--> 00:14:44

combat the PR battle that Israel is

00:14:44--> 00:14:47

obviously losing by creating more false and counter

00:14:47--> 00:14:51

narratives Mhmm. To to their, you know, to

00:14:51--> 00:14:51

to the

00:14:52--> 00:14:52

the

00:14:53--> 00:14:55

to what you we're seeing, you know, as

00:14:55--> 00:14:57

as it unfolds in front of us. And

00:14:57--> 00:14:58

and this is what people need to realize

00:14:58--> 00:14:59

that,

00:14:59--> 00:15:00

you know,

00:15:00--> 00:15:02

Allah has enabled us. Allah has given us

00:15:02--> 00:15:03

wealth.

00:15:03--> 00:15:06

To be honest, the more and more I

00:15:06--> 00:15:07

experience

00:15:08--> 00:15:11

engagements with different charities, different, you know, high

00:15:11--> 00:15:13

net worth individuals. And the more I come

00:15:13--> 00:15:15

to realize the great

00:15:15--> 00:15:17

amount of philanthropy that's taking place in the

00:15:17--> 00:15:18

UK and worldwide.

00:15:19--> 00:15:21

I'm convinced we're not short of funds.

00:15:22--> 00:15:23

It's just sometimes

00:15:23--> 00:15:25

we're not being strategic enough with those funds

00:15:25--> 00:15:26

that we have.

00:15:27--> 00:15:28

And, you know,

00:15:28--> 00:15:30

sometimes we hold back on those funds,

00:15:32--> 00:15:33

thinking that

00:15:33--> 00:15:35

ourselves and our families and our priorities. But,

00:15:35--> 00:15:37

you know, Allah says in the Quran,

00:15:42--> 00:15:44

all you who believe spent from that which

00:15:44--> 00:15:46

we have given you. And I was having

00:15:46--> 00:15:47

a conversation with my brothers the other day

00:15:47--> 00:15:49

and we were talking about you know we

00:15:49--> 00:15:51

think our lives are are are owned. We

00:15:51--> 00:15:52

think

00:15:52--> 00:15:55

everything we've done, everything we've accumulated is is

00:15:55--> 00:15:56

sometimes as a result of our own

00:15:57--> 00:15:59

successes, our own hard work. But we don't

00:15:59--> 00:16:01

even own our own eyes. We don't own

00:16:01--> 00:16:03

our own mouth. We don't own our our

00:16:03--> 00:16:06

hands, our limbs, and these are things that

00:16:06--> 00:16:08

will testify for or against us.

00:16:09--> 00:16:12

Allah's question how we used our body. Allah's

00:16:12--> 00:16:13

gonna take that body back the same way

00:16:13--> 00:16:15

he'll take our soul back and he's gonna

00:16:15--> 00:16:16

ask us

00:16:16--> 00:16:17

how did we live our lives? Or how

00:16:17--> 00:16:20

do we use the blessings of legs and

00:16:20--> 00:16:21

sight and intellect?

00:16:22--> 00:16:23

You know, and the wealth as well that

00:16:23--> 00:16:25

Allah has given us. That's why Allah mentions

00:16:25--> 00:16:27

that all you who believe give from that

00:16:27--> 00:16:29

which we have provided you.

00:16:29--> 00:16:31

Meaning it's not ours. You can't claim ownership

00:16:31--> 00:16:32

over something

00:16:33--> 00:16:35

we were unable to do without Allah's assistance,

00:16:35--> 00:16:37

Allah's help. And Allah then goes on to

00:16:37--> 00:16:39

continue. He says, do that before a day

00:16:39--> 00:16:42

comes, before there's no bargaining, there's no intercession,

00:16:42--> 00:16:43

and there's no help.

00:16:43--> 00:16:46

So Allah's, you know, it's like a Allah's

00:16:46--> 00:16:48

giving us a heads up if you will,

00:16:48--> 00:16:49

that the time

00:16:50--> 00:16:52

and be prepared for it. I'm warning you

00:16:53--> 00:16:55

now, invest, spend in my course. And you

00:16:55--> 00:16:57

know when Allah tells you to do something

00:16:58--> 00:16:59

or I find I invite you to do

00:16:59--> 00:17:02

something, or if Allah attaches a reward to

00:17:02--> 00:17:03

something, then you know,

00:17:04--> 00:17:05

1 it will please our Lord if we

00:17:05--> 00:17:08

do it. But 2 there's a massive reward.

00:17:08--> 00:17:11

Like Allah's Allah's out of his mercy.

00:17:11--> 00:17:13

When Allah tells us to do something it's

00:17:13--> 00:17:16

good for us, right? For our mental,

00:17:16--> 00:17:17

financial,

00:17:17--> 00:17:18

economical,

00:17:18--> 00:17:19

social well-being.

00:17:19--> 00:17:22

But it's also rewardable for us as well.

00:17:22--> 00:17:23

So Allah's saying,

00:17:23--> 00:17:25

this is not your money, it's my money.

00:17:25--> 00:17:27

Spending my cause before day comes and you'll

00:17:27--> 00:17:29

be reckoned. Oh, and by the way, do

00:17:29--> 00:17:31

that. Even though it's a command, do it.

00:17:31--> 00:17:34

But, hey, I'm a I'm the rich one.

00:17:34--> 00:17:36

I'll reward you. I'll give you more than

00:17:36--> 00:17:38

you could ever imagine, more than your wildest

00:17:38--> 00:17:39

dreams could ever

00:17:39--> 00:17:41

conceive will be possible. I'll give that to

00:17:41--> 00:17:43

you. I'll return it to you. Come to

00:17:43--> 00:17:45

business with me. So this is how we

00:17:45--> 00:17:48

need to see our world. This is the

00:17:48--> 00:17:50

perspective we should look at, the lens to

00:17:50--> 00:17:51

which we should look at, that we need

00:17:51--> 00:17:52

to see that

00:17:52--> 00:17:54

Islam is more than just ourselves. It's more

00:17:54--> 00:17:57

than just our family. The priority should always

00:17:57--> 00:17:57

be the deen.

00:17:58--> 00:18:00

How do we elevate the deen? How do

00:18:00--> 00:18:00

we do

00:18:01--> 00:18:03

of Allah? How do we glorify Allah?

00:18:03--> 00:18:06

And a lot of time it's by investing

00:18:06--> 00:18:07

and supporting an institutions.

00:18:08--> 00:18:11

Right? That are corners of our pillars of

00:18:11--> 00:18:11

our society

00:18:12--> 00:18:14

that are fighting the battles that we're unable

00:18:14--> 00:18:16

to fight individually and Islam 21 C without

00:18:16--> 00:18:18

a doubt is one of those so these

00:18:18--> 00:18:19

big

00:18:19--> 00:18:21

you know groups we're not aware of them.

00:18:21--> 00:18:23

This is only one fact for peace. There's

00:18:23--> 00:18:25

dozens and dozens if not 100 of these.

00:18:25--> 00:18:27

We know the Jewish lobby groups are the

00:18:27--> 00:18:29

largest lobby groups in the world. They're the

00:18:29--> 00:18:31

most well funded in the world. We know

00:18:31--> 00:18:32

that even,

00:18:32--> 00:18:35

in the UK, many of the conservative parties,

00:18:35--> 00:18:38

majority of conservative party members are affiliated with

00:18:38--> 00:18:41

them. They do that to further their aims,

00:18:41--> 00:18:43

their objectives, their careers. You know? So Unfortunately,

00:18:44--> 00:18:47

I think professor David Miller is saying since,

00:18:47--> 00:18:49

like, the forties or fifties, they've they've they've

00:18:49--> 00:18:51

been Zionist. They've been taken over by Zionist

00:18:51--> 00:18:52

Jews,

00:18:52--> 00:18:53

and even non Jews,

00:18:54--> 00:18:55

who are you know pro Zionist. So we

00:18:55--> 00:18:56

have like 2,000

00:18:57--> 00:18:58

Zionist organizations

00:18:59--> 00:19:00

not the lobbies

00:19:00--> 00:19:02

other than outside the lobbies. He said this

00:19:03--> 00:19:04

he, you know, he he and his colleagues

00:19:04--> 00:19:05

did research,

00:19:06--> 00:19:08

at the University of Exeter, I think.

00:19:09--> 00:19:10

I've had or Bristol,

00:19:10--> 00:19:11

2,000,

00:19:11--> 00:19:15

you know, different Zionist, groups pushing out a

00:19:15--> 00:19:17

Zionist kind of, interest and so forth. And

00:19:17--> 00:19:20

it's funded. They they're funded. You know? That's

00:19:20--> 00:19:22

what we need to kind of, look at.

00:19:22--> 00:19:25

You know, when you you we're mentioning, Allah

00:19:25--> 00:19:28

everything we belongs to Allah. Emmanuel, Sheikh Haydham

00:19:28--> 00:19:29

said something

00:19:29--> 00:19:31

really kind of hit us hard the other

00:19:31--> 00:19:32

day. He said,

00:19:34--> 00:19:36

basically paraphrasing, he said Allah's

00:19:37--> 00:19:38

more generous than you.

00:19:39--> 00:19:42

Don't think, you're going to spend something for

00:19:42--> 00:19:43

the sake of Allah,

00:19:43--> 00:19:45

whether it's your wealth, you know, spend some

00:19:45--> 00:19:48

time maybe, you know, spending an hour, for

00:19:48--> 00:19:51

example, worshiping Allah or spending a few £100,

00:19:51--> 00:19:53

whatever you know for the sake of Allah,

00:19:53--> 00:19:56

don't think that Allah is not gonna pay

00:19:56--> 00:19:57

you back in dustonia.

00:19:58--> 00:19:59

Yeah I don't think he's gonna pay you

00:19:59--> 00:20:01

back the same amount.

00:20:01--> 00:20:02

You

00:20:02--> 00:20:04

know he's gonna increase you

00:20:05--> 00:20:07

many fold in that thing that you actually

00:20:08--> 00:20:08

you

00:20:09--> 00:20:11

know gave up for His sake and also

00:20:11--> 00:20:13

in the barakah and in the productivity

00:20:13--> 00:20:15

your time for example imagine if you spend

00:20:15--> 00:20:17

an hour worshiping Allah or 2 hours in

00:20:17--> 00:20:18

tarawee or whatever.

00:20:19--> 00:20:21

Don't think that that's gonna take away from

00:20:21--> 00:20:23

your productivity in your day.

00:20:23--> 00:20:25

That's only going to increase

00:20:25--> 00:20:27

your productivity, it's only going to increase the

00:20:27--> 00:20:29

barakah in your time. It's earning you know

00:20:29--> 00:20:30

that that wealth that you give away for

00:20:30--> 00:20:33

the sake of Allah. You know just just

00:20:33--> 00:20:35

I thought need to just remember that all

00:20:35--> 00:20:37

the time Allah is more generous than us

00:20:38--> 00:20:40

and he's not like counting but he gave

00:20:40--> 00:20:43

£5 I'm going to give him £5 back.

00:20:43--> 00:20:45

No. No. And he he owns everything anyway.

00:20:46--> 00:20:48

Because no no depletion. That's a beautiful point.

00:20:49--> 00:20:51

And then, you know, it's not just that

00:20:52--> 00:20:53

obviously when you think about these things you

00:20:53--> 00:20:55

reflect on them and it makes total sense

00:20:55--> 00:20:58

but you're not someone think about

00:20:59--> 00:21:01

when I think about the different topics of

00:21:01--> 00:21:03

Islam. You know, firk, or Hajj,

00:21:04--> 00:21:06

or salah, or, you know, standing for the

00:21:06--> 00:21:07

rights of Muslims.

00:21:08--> 00:21:09

In fact, I I think of all these

00:21:09--> 00:21:10

different areas of Islam.

00:21:11--> 00:21:14

When I think of all the narratives, and

00:21:14--> 00:21:15

I always look for these narratives,

00:21:16--> 00:21:18

these motivations, these anecdotes

00:21:19--> 00:21:20

around,

00:21:20--> 00:21:22

around giving, around

00:21:23--> 00:21:23

sacrificing.

00:21:25--> 00:21:26

I'm not I I I can't say this.

00:21:26--> 00:21:28

I'm not well read enough for this, but

00:21:29--> 00:21:30

I would almost argue that

00:21:31--> 00:21:33

there is more narratives

00:21:34--> 00:21:35

or encouragement

00:21:36--> 00:21:38

or a hadith or I you know,

00:21:38--> 00:21:39

definitely

00:21:40--> 00:21:42

about the the idea of sadaqah and giving

00:21:42--> 00:21:44

and sacrifice, and it is about

00:21:44--> 00:21:47

many, many, many other topics in Islam.

00:21:48--> 00:21:49

And I feel like,

00:21:49--> 00:21:51

you know, the early generations, they understood this

00:21:51--> 00:21:53

so much better than us. You know, like,

00:21:53--> 00:21:56

they they I mean, think about, you know,

00:21:56--> 00:21:57

we I'm sure we all know the the

00:21:57--> 00:22:00

story of Aisha and her when she would

00:22:00--> 00:22:00

give.

00:22:01--> 00:22:04

She would perfume the put perfume on it.

00:22:04--> 00:22:06

Yeah. I mean, that's You know, I remember

00:22:06--> 00:22:08

that when there's a charity shop near my

00:22:08--> 00:22:09

house, and I get so vexed when I

00:22:09--> 00:22:10

see, like, just bin bags

00:22:11--> 00:22:13

strewn across the street right in front of

00:22:13--> 00:22:15

it. And people just like throwing it as

00:22:15--> 00:22:16

rubbish. Remember Aisha

00:22:17--> 00:22:17

she used to

00:22:18--> 00:22:20

cherish on her sadaqah and

00:22:21--> 00:22:23

you know she said because this is going

00:22:23--> 00:22:25

to be accepted in in the right hand

00:22:25--> 00:22:25

of Allah,

00:22:26--> 00:22:27

before he gives it to the poor.

00:22:28--> 00:22:31

Yeah. Yeah. And then it's Don't litter outside

00:22:31--> 00:22:32

charity shops.

00:22:33--> 00:22:35

Yeah. It's true. It's true. I think I've

00:22:35--> 00:22:37

fallen victim to that myself, to be honest.

00:22:38--> 00:22:40

At least, you know, slow down the car

00:22:40--> 00:22:41

in it. Yeah.

00:22:43--> 00:22:44

You know, it's someone,

00:22:45--> 00:22:47

further reading on that, narration,

00:22:48--> 00:22:49

Ibn Al Qayyum Rahimullah.

00:22:50--> 00:22:52

He said something really beautiful. And sometimes it's

00:22:52--> 00:22:54

the simplest things that are most beautiful. He

00:22:54--> 00:22:57

said he said if people knew that the

00:22:57--> 00:22:59

went through the hand of Allah, they would

00:22:59--> 00:23:01

enjoy giving more. They would find, you know,

00:23:01--> 00:23:02

comfort, joy,

00:23:03--> 00:23:05

you know, they they would enjoy the the

00:23:05--> 00:23:07

notion, the idea that

00:23:07--> 00:23:09

they have a direct connection with Allah

00:23:09--> 00:23:12

in the sense that they give something, it

00:23:12--> 00:23:13

goes through the hands of Allah and then

00:23:13--> 00:23:15

it goes on to the needy person. It's

00:23:15--> 00:23:17

a deep point, you know, very, very deep.

00:23:17--> 00:23:18

And I think

00:23:18--> 00:23:20

so, however, they understood this, that Habibi, they

00:23:20--> 00:23:21

understood this.

00:23:22--> 00:23:24

Alimani understand this very well. Even when Alimani

00:23:24--> 00:23:25

would give

00:23:25--> 00:23:28

sadaqa, they would they would physically put their

00:23:28--> 00:23:30

hands beneath the person receiving it to demonstrate

00:23:30--> 00:23:32

that they, the person giving that sadaqa

00:23:33--> 00:23:35

are way more in need of of giving

00:23:35--> 00:23:37

it than the person is receiving it. It's

00:23:37--> 00:23:39

like I think said once, you know, you

00:23:39--> 00:23:41

might be fixing it, but they're fixing your.

00:23:42--> 00:23:44

So just a little encouragement brothers and sisters.

00:23:44--> 00:23:46

I think, yeah, might have said it but

00:23:46--> 00:23:48

Imam Shaffer, you said it before him. Oh,

00:23:48--> 00:23:49

did he? Did he?

00:23:52--> 00:23:53

No disrespect to Mufti Islam.

00:23:54--> 00:23:55

Of course, of course. I didn't know that.

00:23:55--> 00:23:56

So

00:23:57--> 00:23:59

brothers and sisters look. Islam 21 c, we

00:23:59--> 00:24:02

are your organization. We're established to fight

00:24:02--> 00:24:03

your rights,

00:24:03--> 00:24:04

fight for your

00:24:05--> 00:24:07

your your belief, your identity.

00:24:07--> 00:24:08

We're

00:24:08--> 00:24:09

Sorry. Let me ask you a question. Sorry

00:24:09--> 00:24:13

to interrupt. Yeah. You you you you've you've

00:24:13--> 00:24:15

been in the charity sector for donkey's years.

00:24:15--> 00:24:18

You do kind of financial fundraising all the

00:24:18--> 00:24:18

time.

00:24:19--> 00:24:21

It's harder to fundraise something like some of

00:24:21--> 00:24:23

the season it because

00:24:23--> 00:24:25

what you explained, it's easy when you can

00:24:25--> 00:24:26

see a direct

00:24:27--> 00:24:30

kind of, you know, hungry person, and we

00:24:30--> 00:24:31

must obviously feed that person.

00:24:32--> 00:24:34

Somebody who's, you know, in an acute

00:24:35--> 00:24:37

distress, we have to have to have to,

00:24:39--> 00:24:41

you know, alleviate that distress. But the problem

00:24:41--> 00:24:42

is

00:24:42--> 00:24:45

the proactive things that require long term institution

00:24:46--> 00:24:48

building, they're much harder to

00:24:49--> 00:24:50

fundraise for,

00:24:50--> 00:24:52

wouldn't you say? Because you've been trying to

00:24:52--> 00:24:53

do fundraising for some sort of many years

00:24:53--> 00:24:55

as well. Yeah. I I

00:24:56--> 00:24:58

there's a bit of a conundrum.

00:24:58--> 00:25:01

Yeah. It's it's really it's really difficult to

00:25:01--> 00:25:02

to navigate around this topic.

00:25:03--> 00:25:05

And I say that because I I'm trying

00:25:05--> 00:25:06

to do it so much, but

00:25:07--> 00:25:09

but it it sometimes it feels like an

00:25:09--> 00:25:10

uphill struggle if I'm being honest.

00:25:11--> 00:25:12

And the conundrum is that

00:25:13--> 00:25:15

it's very hard when you see a suffering

00:25:16--> 00:25:16

person.

00:25:16--> 00:25:19

It's very hard when you see someone starving,

00:25:19--> 00:25:20

and you

00:25:21--> 00:25:23

you get those emotions straight away. You're connected.

00:25:23--> 00:25:25

You feel the pain. You feel the grief,

00:25:25--> 00:25:28

and you feel compelled to give. And so

00:25:28--> 00:25:30

you should. Yeah. And do give. No one's

00:25:30--> 00:25:33

saying don't give. Right? It's important. It's a

00:25:33--> 00:25:35

it's it's the most basic human emotion

00:25:36--> 00:25:38

that when you see someone suffering, you want

00:25:38--> 00:25:39

to do something about it.

00:25:41--> 00:25:42

But I would say that

00:25:44--> 00:25:45

there's a disproportionate

00:25:46--> 00:25:47

representation

00:25:48--> 00:25:50

amongst the organizations

00:25:50--> 00:25:52

that we see in the UK and worldwide

00:25:53--> 00:25:54

When it comes to humanitarianism

00:25:56--> 00:25:58

and the work that is building

00:25:59--> 00:26:02

and and and fixing the the long term

00:26:02--> 00:26:04

solutions that have probably created some of these

00:26:04--> 00:26:05

things.

00:26:06--> 00:26:08

We've got a donation that's just come through.

00:26:08--> 00:26:10

We've, we we've been we've been we got

00:26:10--> 00:26:12

locked in a conversation. I forgot to

00:26:13--> 00:26:16

actually remind people how to donate but they

00:26:16--> 00:26:18

they they they're donating. We're getting, messages.

00:26:19--> 00:26:21

And from that, we have a donation from,

00:26:21--> 00:26:22

Hani Radi.

00:26:23--> 00:26:24

Radi. Donated.

00:26:26--> 00:26:28

Abu Bakr. Let's just donated.

00:26:28--> 00:26:29

Okay. Fantastic.

00:26:30--> 00:26:31

Okay. So let's just jump

00:26:32--> 00:26:33

as anyone.

00:26:33--> 00:26:35

So, we're gonna be going to some conversations.

00:26:35--> 00:26:37

We'll continue our point in a second, but

00:26:37--> 00:26:38

it's really, really important to mention

00:26:39--> 00:26:41

that as well as these, you know, the

00:26:41--> 00:26:43

the these moments that we have in between

00:26:43--> 00:26:43

your

00:26:44--> 00:26:45

and your prayers.

00:26:46--> 00:26:48

You know, we have to also utilize some

00:26:48--> 00:26:49

of the time that we have to serve

00:26:49--> 00:26:52

the Ummah and not just make this Ibada

00:26:52--> 00:26:52

for ourselves.

00:26:53--> 00:26:53

Okay?

00:26:54--> 00:26:56

Prophet was willing to give up his own

00:26:56--> 00:26:57

to walk with his brother in his time

00:26:57--> 00:26:59

of need and help and support him and

00:26:59--> 00:27:01

we also should be willing to make sure

00:27:01--> 00:27:03

that our nights don't pass and we've just

00:27:03--> 00:27:03

benefited

00:27:04--> 00:27:06

ourselves, you know? This is

00:27:07--> 00:27:09

this is a it's this is a calamity

00:27:09--> 00:27:11

in of itself brothers and sisters that if

00:27:11--> 00:27:12

if we haven't taken time out to serve

00:27:12--> 00:27:14

the Ummah, the prophet Muhammad said the best

00:27:14--> 00:27:16

to you those will bring the most benefit

00:27:16--> 00:27:16

to mankind.

00:27:17--> 00:27:19

And whatever you do tonight, it's better than

00:27:19--> 00:27:21

a 1000 months, it's better than

00:27:21--> 00:27:24

83 years, and it's better than

00:27:24--> 00:27:24

30000.

00:27:25--> 00:27:26

I think 30,295

00:27:27--> 00:27:28

days.

00:27:28--> 00:27:30

Whatever you whatever you Could be if it

00:27:30--> 00:27:31

if it's laser cutter.

00:27:32--> 00:27:34

Let's assume it is. Why wouldn't you assume

00:27:34--> 00:27:35

it is? Right? Because you have to search

00:27:35--> 00:27:37

for it. Yeah. And and and, you know,

00:27:37--> 00:27:39

we treat each night as if it is.

00:27:39--> 00:27:39

So

00:27:40--> 00:27:42

let let's act like that brothers and sisters.

00:27:42--> 00:27:43

Let's let's assume it is and look for

00:27:43--> 00:27:45

it. And when the next one comes, you

00:27:45--> 00:27:47

do the same all over again. So look

00:27:47--> 00:27:49

we're here tonight inshallah. We want you to

00:27:49--> 00:27:50

donate. Go to Islam 21c.comforward/live.

00:27:52--> 00:27:54

You can call us in. Make a pledge.

00:27:54--> 00:27:56

Maybe you're gonna raise that money number down,

00:27:56--> 00:27:57

or maybe you'd like to tell us what

00:27:57--> 00:27:57

you're gonna donate.

00:27:58--> 00:28:00

So the number to call here is o

00:28:00--> 00:28:02

I've got 2 numbers here. I've got 0203-880

00:28:04--> 00:28:05

2981.

00:28:05--> 00:28:07

I've also got 077-694-3414.

00:28:11--> 00:28:14

Yep. So the first number is to donate,

00:28:14--> 00:28:16

And the second number I believe is to

00:28:16--> 00:28:17

give us a call if you wanna have

00:28:17--> 00:28:20

a chat coming through to the studio so

00:28:20--> 00:28:21

to speak. That's it. And what we're looking

00:28:21--> 00:28:23

for tonight, brother, is we are looking for

00:28:23--> 00:28:25

50 people to give £100.

00:28:26--> 00:28:27

We get you 50 people,

00:28:28--> 00:28:29

our jobs done tonight, then we can just

00:28:29--> 00:28:30

enjoy the conversation,

00:28:31--> 00:28:32

have some chat and chat, but it shall

00:28:32--> 00:28:33

it would benefit

00:28:34--> 00:28:37

talking about how we can strategize and and

00:28:37--> 00:28:39

make the the world more

00:28:39--> 00:28:42

more beneficial for the Muslims. So we mentioned

00:28:42--> 00:28:44

strategy. Let's go back. Oh, we got another

00:28:44--> 00:28:46

we got another donation. I'll tell you what,

00:28:46--> 00:28:47

let's get the top tier started, someone. Let's

00:28:47--> 00:28:48

get the top tier.

00:28:51--> 00:28:52

Beard.

00:28:56--> 00:28:56

Donated.

00:28:57--> 00:28:59

One of the brothers who gave £100

00:29:00--> 00:29:01

increase you all in your wealth

00:29:01--> 00:29:03

and, accept it.

00:29:03--> 00:29:05

I'll tell you what, let's get we've got,

00:29:05--> 00:29:06

our brother in

00:29:07--> 00:29:07

the background.

00:29:08--> 00:29:11

Tarek, keep us updated, please, with a tally.

00:29:11--> 00:29:13

We would like to know how many of

00:29:13--> 00:29:15

those 100 we've got coming in, how many

00:29:15--> 00:29:17

of those fifties we've got coming in. Right?

00:29:17--> 00:29:20

So we got Haniradi. We got Abu Bakr,

00:29:20--> 00:29:22

Baban. We got Faisal Hayat.

00:29:22--> 00:29:24

Keep them coming, brother. Share with your family.

00:29:24--> 00:29:25

Share with your friends.

00:29:26--> 00:29:26

Please,

00:29:26--> 00:29:29

you know, you've done your bit and maybe

00:29:29--> 00:29:31

we can multiply those rewards by getting some

00:29:31--> 00:29:32

other brothers and friends and families to do

00:29:32--> 00:29:33

the same.

00:29:34--> 00:29:34

Yeah.

00:29:36--> 00:29:37

And also let us know in the comments.

00:29:37--> 00:29:39

One thing I forgot to do was actually,

00:29:40--> 00:29:42

ask the brothers and sisters watching if you

00:29:42--> 00:29:43

can actually hear us.

00:29:44--> 00:29:45

That is good. Should've done that right at

00:29:45--> 00:29:47

the beginning, but let us know you can

00:29:47--> 00:29:49

hear us. Hopefully, you can hear us. Well,

00:29:49--> 00:29:50

we need we need someone to we need

00:29:50--> 00:29:52

someone to write. Yeah. We I don't think

00:29:52--> 00:29:54

we've had any comments yet. Have we?

00:29:54--> 00:29:56

Yeah. It says on the thing, there's,

00:29:56--> 00:29:59

almost a 100 people watching live across different

00:29:59--> 00:30:02

platforms. Fantastic. So, let's let's see if you,

00:30:02--> 00:30:03

if you're real people.

00:30:04--> 00:30:06

Or are they bots? We're gonna we're gonna

00:30:06--> 00:30:07

talk about bots a little bit later. Remind

00:30:07--> 00:30:08

me, someone.

00:30:08--> 00:30:11

Alohaqbar. Naheed Shah donated £500.

00:30:14--> 00:30:16

Hey. We got some I love the confetti.

00:30:17--> 00:30:18

We've got a, like, little,

00:30:19--> 00:30:20

dopamine hijacking,

00:30:21--> 00:30:23

loop compulsion loop here. Little,

00:30:24--> 00:30:26

little, what do you call it? Graphic or

00:30:26--> 00:30:29

GIF or something whenever you, whenever someone donates.

00:30:29--> 00:30:30

It's not a GIF. It's a GIF. Come

00:30:30--> 00:30:32

on, someone. I say GIF, bro. Come Why

00:30:32--> 00:30:33

Because of giraffes.

00:30:35--> 00:30:37

Who says GIF? Yeah. Come on, man. Don't

00:30:37--> 00:30:39

call. It's because you're on GIF Gaff, bro.

00:30:39--> 00:30:41

You made it in last week to get

00:30:41--> 00:30:43

to a normal 02 and 02 is not

00:30:43--> 00:30:45

doing me justice. Anyway, let's not promote other

00:30:45--> 00:30:46

brands, we're here to promote

00:30:46--> 00:30:48

San Antonio with C in the work. Simone,

00:30:48--> 00:30:50

you asked me a question just a minute

00:30:50--> 00:30:50

ago,

00:30:51--> 00:30:54

about how it's harder to sell an organization

00:30:54--> 00:30:56

or get people to buy into slump 21

00:30:56--> 00:30:58

c. Like I mentioned, it is a conundrum.

00:30:58--> 00:31:00

It's easy for us to stand here and

00:31:00--> 00:31:02

hold pictures of babies that are starving.

00:31:03--> 00:31:04

And I think I think if I'm being

00:31:04--> 00:31:05

honest, I think

00:31:06--> 00:31:08

Shaytan has tricked us a little bit.

00:31:08--> 00:31:10

Right? I mentioned to my son the other

00:31:10--> 00:31:12

day while we're driving around, I said Shaytan,

00:31:12--> 00:31:14

it was, you know, Iblis, there's not a

00:31:14--> 00:31:15

place that he didn't do such on the

00:31:15--> 00:31:17

earth. He's been around, he knows the tricks.

00:31:17--> 00:31:19

He knows how to, you know,

00:31:19--> 00:31:21

make us do things that necessarily

00:31:22--> 00:31:24

are good and praiseworthy, but at the cost

00:31:24--> 00:31:25

of doing other things that we should be

00:31:25--> 00:31:27

doing that are greater reward.

00:31:27--> 00:31:29

And I I I think the issue is

00:31:29--> 00:31:31

not that we give so much of our

00:31:31--> 00:31:32

money to humanitarian

00:31:32--> 00:31:32

causes.

00:31:33--> 00:31:35

They are there are needs, and there are

00:31:35--> 00:31:38

massive, massive immense rewards for honoring,

00:31:38--> 00:31:40

our brothers and sisters, for helping them, for

00:31:40--> 00:31:43

supporting them. But the challenge is that we've

00:31:43--> 00:31:43

neglected

00:31:44--> 00:31:47

the strategic moves that we need to make

00:31:47--> 00:31:49

in supporting other institutions

00:31:49--> 00:31:51

and the pillars of society

00:31:51--> 00:31:53

that will actually further aim,

00:31:54--> 00:31:55

further aim to develop

00:31:56--> 00:31:57

our communities.

00:31:57--> 00:31:59

Mhmm. I was at a fundraiser tonight.

00:31:59--> 00:32:00

I went to Kingston,

00:32:01--> 00:32:04

great youth organization called Kingston Muslim Youth. You

00:32:04--> 00:32:06

know the brother used to be involved in

00:32:06--> 00:32:08

Used to be our news editor for like

00:32:08--> 00:32:10

5 years, inshallah. That's right. And he's doing

00:32:10--> 00:32:12

amazing work, Masha'Allah. You know, they've got a

00:32:12--> 00:32:14

great youth center down there. And they're they're

00:32:14--> 00:32:15

literally,

00:32:15--> 00:32:18

you know, making real impact. And I said

00:32:18--> 00:32:20

to the community there, I said brothers, sisters,

00:32:21--> 00:32:22

if I was to stand here and show

00:32:22--> 00:32:25

you a a dying starving baby, you'd all

00:32:25--> 00:32:27

give. I said, what we're looking for you

00:32:27--> 00:32:28

to do tonight is we're asking you to

00:32:28--> 00:32:29

invest in this organization

00:32:30--> 00:32:31

so we can build the leaders.

00:32:32--> 00:32:35

Okay? And the change makers

00:32:35--> 00:32:36

that will

00:32:36--> 00:32:37

create

00:32:37--> 00:32:40

social change within the fabric of our society

00:32:40--> 00:32:41

Mhmm. Will

00:32:42--> 00:32:42

strategically

00:32:43--> 00:32:45

solve some of these problems long term. Why

00:32:45--> 00:32:47

is it that when we look across the

00:32:47--> 00:32:50

world, we see that the largest

00:32:50--> 00:32:52

populous of refugees in the world are predominantly

00:32:52--> 00:32:53

from Muslim countries.

00:32:54--> 00:32:57

Think about all of the major man made

00:32:57--> 00:32:59

catastrophes in the last 10 years.

00:32:59--> 00:33:01

Look at Syria. Look at Yemen. Look at

00:33:01--> 00:33:02

the Rohingya Muslims.

00:33:02--> 00:33:04

Look at the the the Uighurs.

00:33:04--> 00:33:07

Look at Gaza. Okay? The Iraq war, you

00:33:07--> 00:33:09

know, set off a illegal war, set off

00:33:09--> 00:33:11

a chain of events that led to the

00:33:11--> 00:33:12

probably the biggest humanitarian,

00:33:14--> 00:33:15

refugee crisis

00:33:16--> 00:33:18

ongoing refugee crisis in modern history. Yeah. And

00:33:18--> 00:33:20

it it can't I mean, yes, there's the

00:33:20--> 00:33:23

there's Russia and Ukraine situation going on. Of

00:33:23--> 00:33:25

course. And all of those things, they're built

00:33:25--> 00:33:27

upon discourse and narratives.

00:33:28--> 00:33:31

Right? That's how these these policies, these wars,

00:33:31--> 00:33:33

these genocides are sold to,

00:33:34--> 00:33:34

people.

00:33:34--> 00:33:35

Yeah.

00:33:35--> 00:33:38

And and given cover given narrative cover.

00:33:39--> 00:33:41

You know, one thing I wanna mention, right,

00:33:41--> 00:33:43

so we understand the gravity because someone touched

00:33:43--> 00:33:45

on a point. If we could summarize or

00:33:45--> 00:33:47

if I could summarize what I think we're

00:33:47--> 00:33:49

doing tonight, I think that we're dealing with

00:33:49--> 00:33:51

the the battle of ideological,

00:33:52--> 00:33:52

values.

00:33:53--> 00:33:53

Okay?

00:33:54--> 00:33:56

There there's a ideological war taking place every

00:33:56--> 00:33:58

single day. It's in our schools. It's in

00:33:58--> 00:33:59

our classrooms. It's in universities.

00:34:00--> 00:34:02

It's in our homes. It's on the ipads.

00:34:02--> 00:34:03

It's on the phones. It's in workplaces.

00:34:03--> 00:34:06

It's everywhere you go and these ideological battles

00:34:06--> 00:34:10

they're pushing secularism, liberalism, LGBT agendas.

00:34:10--> 00:34:11

They're pushing transgenderism,

00:34:12--> 00:34:12

fornication,

00:34:13--> 00:34:15

the breakdown of the family unit.

00:34:16--> 00:34:17

All of these things that

00:34:18--> 00:34:20

we'll tolerate as a community

00:34:21--> 00:34:22

if other people practice them, but we will

00:34:22--> 00:34:24

not allow them to infringe on our values

00:34:25--> 00:34:26

and what we believe as Muslims.

00:34:27--> 00:34:30

And the issue is that these things have

00:34:30--> 00:34:32

been broken down even through media, through

00:34:33--> 00:34:35

through, you know, sitcoms and stuff like that,

00:34:35--> 00:34:36

adverts, TV shows.

00:34:37--> 00:34:39

And it is it is slowly slowly breaking

00:34:39--> 00:34:41

down the very fabric of our

00:34:42--> 00:34:43

society and our Muslim identity.

00:34:44--> 00:34:47

Islam It's it's funny that you mentioned that

00:34:47--> 00:34:49

because the some of the campaigns that we

00:34:49--> 00:34:52

have the initiation documents when the planning's,

00:34:52--> 00:34:53

gone into for,

00:34:54--> 00:34:56

just about that. We have the guarding innocence

00:34:56--> 00:34:57

about

00:34:58--> 00:35:01

sexualization of children in schools and and and

00:35:01--> 00:35:02

indoctrination of certain,

00:35:03--> 00:35:03

ideologies.

00:35:04--> 00:35:05

We have,

00:35:05--> 00:35:07

a really, really important

00:35:08--> 00:35:10

campaign that's close to my heart, power of

00:35:10--> 00:35:12

a Muslim woman. You know, a group not

00:35:12--> 00:35:14

because I'm a Muslim identify as a Muslim

00:35:14--> 00:35:14

woman, but because

00:35:15--> 00:35:17

A powerful Muslim woman. Yeah. The it's the

00:35:18--> 00:35:19

it's it's,

00:35:20--> 00:35:21

what can I say? It's a group of

00:35:21--> 00:35:24

sisters that have been through our Tarbia programs

00:35:24--> 00:35:27

in Sabeel and Sahab 6 6 years. They've

00:35:27--> 00:35:29

been, you know, delivering

00:35:29--> 00:35:31

stuff in the local communities, talking to sisters

00:35:31--> 00:35:33

on the ground, learning about their issues.

00:35:34--> 00:35:34

And,

00:35:35--> 00:35:38

they're doing a campaign through a sign 20

00:35:38--> 00:35:39

OC with high quality

00:35:40--> 00:35:42

media assets, you know, regular podcasts,

00:35:42--> 00:35:44

articles, and new websites have been,

00:35:44--> 00:35:47

designed in the in the testing stages. And

00:35:47--> 00:35:48

SubhanAllah,

00:35:48--> 00:35:51

It's actually from the perspective of a confident

00:35:52--> 00:35:52

Muslim

00:35:52--> 00:35:56

women or of confident Muslim women not pandering

00:35:56--> 00:35:56

to

00:35:57--> 00:36:00

obviously kind of liberalism and feminism and so

00:36:00--> 00:36:01

forth but at the same time

00:36:02--> 00:36:03

not a blind reaction

00:36:04--> 00:36:05

to secularism liberalism

00:36:05--> 00:36:07

Right? Because when a community

00:36:08--> 00:36:09

feels weak

00:36:09--> 00:36:10

and embattled and,

00:36:11--> 00:36:12

beleaguered,

00:36:13--> 00:36:15

There's a there's a tendency to just

00:36:16--> 00:36:17

still

00:36:17--> 00:36:20

use the oppressor or use the

00:36:20--> 00:36:21

dominant narrative

00:36:21--> 00:36:23

as your yardstick and just do be anything

00:36:23--> 00:36:25

anti that. You know this is what the

00:36:25--> 00:36:27

liberals are saying we're going to be anti

00:36:27--> 00:36:28

liberal. This is what the feminists say we're

00:36:28--> 00:36:29

going to be anti feminist

00:36:29--> 00:36:33

but it it what assumption tries to do

00:36:33--> 00:36:36

is to create something based on our own

00:36:36--> 00:36:38

standpoint, our own Islamic

00:36:38--> 00:36:41

epistemology, our own values, our own metaphysics, our

00:36:41--> 00:36:41

own,

00:36:42--> 00:36:43

ethics and morality

00:36:43--> 00:36:46

from the Quran, sunnah, from the the the

00:36:46--> 00:36:47

heritage

00:36:47--> 00:36:49

of our Ummah for the last 1400 years

00:36:49--> 00:36:51

to make something generally from our,

00:36:52--> 00:36:54

perspective. And those things are are re most

00:36:54--> 00:36:57

campaigns in particular, I'm really excited about.

00:36:58--> 00:37:00

Those his sister are doing great work. And

00:37:00--> 00:37:03

obviously, you know, he's been pivotal in the

00:37:03--> 00:37:05

guarding innocence campaign, none other than none other

00:37:05--> 00:37:06

than our brother Youssef Patel,

00:37:08--> 00:37:09

of the

00:37:09--> 00:37:11

formerly known as SRE Islamic,

00:37:12--> 00:37:15

rebounded to the Muslim family institute I think.

00:37:15--> 00:37:19

So, excellent brother and, you know, we work

00:37:19--> 00:37:20

together to build,

00:37:20--> 00:37:22

that thing as well. So it's not just

00:37:22--> 00:37:24

one man show, but, you know, with all

00:37:24--> 00:37:26

of our resources and all of our,

00:37:26--> 00:37:28

masha'a and expertise kind of,

00:37:29--> 00:37:31

going towards those issues as well. So we

00:37:31--> 00:37:32

have a another donation,

00:37:34--> 00:37:34

donated

00:37:35--> 00:37:35

a £100.

00:37:46--> 00:37:48

Some on? Don't be stingy with these things.

00:37:48--> 00:37:50

That's it. We like to We we have

00:37:50--> 00:37:52

to be careful not to allow any haduk

00:37:52--> 00:37:54

in inflation as well. So I have to

00:37:54--> 00:37:56

I have to balance these different Okay.

00:37:58--> 00:37:59

Well, look. We got lots of viewers. Okay,

00:38:00--> 00:38:01

They're pretty interested to see

00:38:02--> 00:38:03

what kind of sounds and effects we can

00:38:03--> 00:38:04

give them, but we have to entice them.

00:38:04--> 00:38:07

Can we give them a little, a little

00:38:07--> 00:38:08

demo, please? What else have we got on

00:38:08--> 00:38:09

this,

00:38:09--> 00:38:10

someone?

00:38:13--> 00:38:15

Smart, our services. I'll use that on me.

00:38:15--> 00:38:17

I'll feel emasculated if you do that.

00:38:19--> 00:38:20

Does that does that bring up the

00:38:22--> 00:38:23

I feel like there's something missing in the

00:38:23--> 00:38:24

test. Test run.

00:38:26--> 00:38:27

What else?

00:38:33--> 00:38:35

You don't hear that a lot. I feel

00:38:35--> 00:38:36

like I'm good.

00:38:36--> 00:38:38

Forget like, us for Dean. She has for

00:38:38--> 00:38:38

Dean on the,

00:38:40--> 00:38:41

can we call him up just to do

00:38:41--> 00:38:42

that sound?

00:38:42--> 00:38:43

Can you do that?

00:38:44--> 00:38:45

Hey, Asif.

00:38:46--> 00:38:48

What's ET short for? Because you got small

00:38:48--> 00:38:49

legs.

00:38:52--> 00:38:53

Alright, brothers and sisters.

00:38:53--> 00:38:55

Let's get some of those. I tell you

00:38:55--> 00:38:56

what, let's get someone. We need some callers.

00:38:56--> 00:38:57

We have to be careful. We have to

00:38:57--> 00:38:59

be it could be a little cutler. You

00:38:59--> 00:38:59

don't wanna

00:39:00--> 00:39:02

have a joke that's, you know, multiplied

00:39:02--> 00:39:04

a bad joke that's multiplied over a 1000

00:39:04--> 00:39:08

months. Better protect us. Better protect us. Right.

00:39:08--> 00:39:09

I I think it's time to get someone

00:39:09--> 00:39:11

in, in the studio. We need someone to

00:39:11--> 00:39:14

call in. So Asen, Nahid, Faisal, Abu Bakr,

00:39:15--> 00:39:15

Hani,

00:39:16--> 00:39:17

which is a couple of others there as

00:39:17--> 00:39:18

well. We need one of you

00:39:19--> 00:39:21

to call us in. Share with us why

00:39:21--> 00:39:22

you've donated

00:39:22--> 00:39:25

and inspire others Insha'Allah. Okay. Don't be shy.

00:39:25--> 00:39:29

Okay. This imagine brothers, sisters watching out there,

00:39:29--> 00:39:31

your call, because me and Saman, we're just,

00:39:32--> 00:39:33

hopefully, we're saying stuff of quality.

00:39:34--> 00:39:36

But it could be that, you know, we're

00:39:36--> 00:39:37

here to to

00:39:38--> 00:39:39

inspire, present,

00:39:40--> 00:39:42

motivate you. But we're we're here to do

00:39:42--> 00:39:43

that, so we're expected to be able to

00:39:43--> 00:39:45

do that. But we wanna hear from you,

00:39:45--> 00:39:48

the supporters. Why do you believe? I mean,

00:39:48--> 00:39:48

look, we've got

00:39:49--> 00:39:50

Nahid gave £500.

00:39:50--> 00:39:51

That's,

00:39:51--> 00:39:53

you know, I mean, maybe that's easy for

00:39:53--> 00:39:55

him. Maybe he's Allah's blessing with wealth. I

00:39:55--> 00:39:57

believe Nahid is his sister.

00:39:57--> 00:39:58

Is that apologies.

00:39:59--> 00:40:01

Nahid. I just assume her gender.

00:40:02--> 00:40:04

Right. But may maybe maybe sister Nahid

00:40:05--> 00:40:06

has I think I think it is. If

00:40:06--> 00:40:07

it's Nahid I'm thinking of,

00:40:08--> 00:40:10

If it's not if your brother called Nahid

00:40:10--> 00:40:11

sorry, bro.

00:40:12--> 00:40:15

That's not is. Yeah. I I think what's

00:40:15--> 00:40:16

important is the hearts. We're looking at the

00:40:16--> 00:40:18

hearts of people. May Allah bless you all.

00:40:18--> 00:40:19

Okay?

00:40:19--> 00:40:21

So ex excuse our ignorance if we don't

00:40:21--> 00:40:23

know all the names that are out there.

00:40:23--> 00:40:25

But the point is the point is for

00:40:25--> 00:40:27

some people that 500 is easy for someone's

00:40:27--> 00:40:29

hard. But either way to pick up the

00:40:29--> 00:40:31

phone or to go online and make that

00:40:31--> 00:40:31

donation.

00:40:32--> 00:40:33

You know Allah's bless you. You've been guided

00:40:33--> 00:40:34

to us some goodness.

00:40:35--> 00:40:36

Give us a call and tell us why

00:40:36--> 00:40:38

why did you do it? Okay? There's many

00:40:38--> 00:40:38

organizations.

00:40:39--> 00:40:40

Look at your phones tonight, brothers and sisters.

00:40:40--> 00:40:42

How many messages have you got from different

00:40:42--> 00:40:43

organizations?

00:40:43--> 00:40:45

You know, say, oh, it's an odd night.

00:40:45--> 00:40:46

Give to this project, that project.

00:40:47--> 00:40:49

What motivated you inspired to give to this

00:40:49--> 00:40:51

one? So call in 077-694-33414.

00:40:54--> 00:40:55

If you wanna donate straight away, just go

00:40:55--> 00:40:56

to 0203-880-2981.

00:40:59--> 00:41:01

And of course, the easiest probably for many

00:41:01--> 00:41:02

of you is Islam 21c.comforward/life.

00:41:04--> 00:41:06

This is like the situation at Tesco's where

00:41:06--> 00:41:07

it's like,

00:41:07--> 00:41:09

do I go to the lady who's serving

00:41:09--> 00:41:11

me or do I go to the, self-service

00:41:11--> 00:41:13

tool? Right? If I go to the self-service,

00:41:13--> 00:41:15

right, with with Londoners especially,

00:41:15--> 00:41:17

they just they don't wanna engage with you,

00:41:17--> 00:41:19

you know? Up north, they're like,

00:41:19--> 00:41:21

no, Northern is I love Northern is they

00:41:21--> 00:41:22

just want a bit of banter sometimes, you

00:41:22--> 00:41:23

know?

00:41:23--> 00:41:25

Not tonight, though. It's a lot like focus

00:41:25--> 00:41:26

problems.

00:41:26--> 00:41:29

But, oh, Mohammed Musa has given £50.

00:41:32--> 00:41:34

We need to get a duck beard kind

00:41:34--> 00:41:36

of sound effect. Yeah. I'm really ashamed that

00:41:36--> 00:41:38

I don't have one. Sakkra, all these all

00:41:38--> 00:41:41

these video ones you got. That's from the

00:41:41--> 00:41:42

that's from COVID podcast.

00:41:43--> 00:41:44

Probably like a

00:41:44--> 00:41:46

or something like that. The most let me

00:41:46--> 00:41:47

those No. I'm gonna work,

00:41:48--> 00:41:49

on getting acquiring such

00:41:50--> 00:41:52

in the background. Yes, please. In the meantime,

00:41:53--> 00:41:55

you, you speak to the people. So Are

00:41:55--> 00:41:57

you doing it now? Have someone donate.

00:41:57--> 00:41:58

We'll get a nice

00:42:00--> 00:42:02

Right. So brothers and sisters, we are here

00:42:02--> 00:42:02

tonight.

00:42:03--> 00:42:03

Islam

00:42:04--> 00:42:06

21 c is inviting you

00:42:07--> 00:42:07

to fight

00:42:08--> 00:42:10

the battle with us. This is a digital

00:42:10--> 00:42:11

war that's taking place online.

00:42:12--> 00:42:14

We are up against it. Organizations,

00:42:14--> 00:42:15

media organizations

00:42:16--> 00:42:19

out there are spending 1,000,000. They're spending 1,000,000,000.

00:42:19--> 00:42:20

Let me give an example.

00:42:20--> 00:42:22

We're talking about

00:42:22--> 00:42:25

the rights of the Palestinians tonight. We've we're

00:42:25--> 00:42:28

launching this campaign, Palestine truth, where you get

00:42:28--> 00:42:30

to understand what's really going on behind the

00:42:30--> 00:42:32

scenes. We try to inspire, empower you with

00:42:32--> 00:42:34

the reality on the ground. But let me

00:42:34--> 00:42:36

give an example of what we're up against.

00:42:37--> 00:42:38

After the onslaught

00:42:39--> 00:42:41

that came after the 7th October,

00:42:42--> 00:42:44

we found that the

00:42:44--> 00:42:45

media coverage

00:42:45--> 00:42:47

on social media was showing what was really

00:42:47--> 00:42:49

going on on the ground.

00:42:49--> 00:42:50

Right?

00:42:50--> 00:42:52

And as a result of the losing,

00:42:54--> 00:42:54

the losing,

00:42:55--> 00:42:58

what we call it, campaign. Right? The the

00:42:58--> 00:42:59

PR campaign

00:43:00--> 00:43:00

of

00:43:01--> 00:43:03

Israel and the the government there as well

00:43:03--> 00:43:05

as the IDF, they were so worried about

00:43:05--> 00:43:05

the,

00:43:06--> 00:43:08

you know, losing public opinion

00:43:08--> 00:43:11

that the Israeli government actually spent £7,100,000,000.

00:43:13--> 00:43:14

Where did they spend it? Was it on

00:43:14--> 00:43:18

billboards and Facebook and YouTube and print media

00:43:18--> 00:43:19

across multifaceted

00:43:20--> 00:43:20

media campaigns?

00:43:21--> 00:43:23

No. That 7,100,000,000

00:43:23--> 00:43:25

was only spent

00:43:25--> 00:43:27

on YouTube ads.

00:43:27--> 00:43:30

Anyone in the digital marketing industry or even

00:43:30--> 00:43:32

just some insights into social media know that

00:43:32--> 00:43:35

to put that much money into one focused

00:43:35--> 00:43:37

effort is gonna yield a massive impact.

00:43:38--> 00:43:39

So that 7,100,000

00:43:41--> 00:43:43

YouTube ads, that's translated into

00:43:43--> 00:43:44

nearly 1,000,000,000

00:43:44--> 00:43:45

video impressions.

00:43:46--> 00:43:49

Right? Imagine the the graphic images, the videos

00:43:49--> 00:43:51

they're showing people, trying to show themselves

00:43:52--> 00:43:54

as the victim. And by the way, never

00:43:54--> 00:43:56

in the history of any occupation

00:43:56--> 00:43:57

has the occupier

00:43:58--> 00:44:00

claimed to be the victim, yet they're doing

00:44:00--> 00:44:02

it. And this is how much they're spending

00:44:02--> 00:44:03

try to spew

00:44:03--> 00:44:04

their false narrative.

00:44:05--> 00:44:06

So this is what we're up against, brothers

00:44:06--> 00:44:07

and sisters.

00:44:07--> 00:44:10

Islam 21 c is fighting and battling that

00:44:10--> 00:44:12

narrative, and it takes money, it takes investment.

00:44:12--> 00:44:13

What we're up against is monumental.

00:44:14--> 00:44:15

However,

00:44:16--> 00:44:16

right,

00:44:17--> 00:44:18

we can do it

00:44:18--> 00:44:20

And as as great as difficult as it

00:44:20--> 00:44:23

seems, I wanna remind you brothers and sisters

00:44:23--> 00:44:24

of the story

00:44:25--> 00:44:28

of David and Goliath. Right? Dawud and Jalut.

00:44:29--> 00:44:30

So picture this.

00:44:31--> 00:44:33

Right? Dawud Alaihi Salam, he's not even a

00:44:33--> 00:44:35

prophet yet. Okay? He's a young man. He's

00:44:35--> 00:44:37

still growing. He's not known to be a

00:44:37--> 00:44:39

large man in stature either physically. He doesn't

00:44:40--> 00:44:41

he's got a massive physical presence.

00:44:42--> 00:44:45

He hasn't been bestow with knowledge of prophethood

00:44:45--> 00:44:46

or the wisdom of prophethood.

00:44:47--> 00:44:49

So he is an average man at the

00:44:49--> 00:44:50

time.

00:44:50--> 00:44:53

And he is with his king. And the

00:44:53--> 00:44:54

king, Talut,

00:44:54--> 00:44:56

has got all of his army in front

00:44:56--> 00:44:57

of him.

00:44:57--> 00:44:59

That would be part of the army, and

00:44:59--> 00:45:00

they are opposing

00:45:00--> 00:45:02

they're about to go into battle with the

00:45:02--> 00:45:02

opposition.

00:45:03--> 00:45:05

And who is sent forward from the opposition?

00:45:05--> 00:45:08

None other than Goliath. Jalut is sent forward.

00:45:09--> 00:45:11

So Jalut is sent forward and Talut, the

00:45:11--> 00:45:13

king says to his soldiers, says to his

00:45:13--> 00:45:15

people, a very small amount of people it

00:45:15--> 00:45:17

was. It's also narrated as 313

00:45:17--> 00:45:19

of them, similar to.

00:45:19--> 00:45:21

And Talut says to his men, he says,

00:45:21--> 00:45:23

who will come forward and and fight this

00:45:23--> 00:45:24

Goliath?

00:45:25--> 00:45:27

So they're all looking around, waiting who's gonna

00:45:27--> 00:45:29

step forward and, you know, was it the

00:45:29--> 00:45:31

biggest one that stepped forward? No.

00:45:31--> 00:45:32

Was it the most,

00:45:32--> 00:45:33

you know,

00:45:34--> 00:45:36

tough and hardy one of them to step

00:45:36--> 00:45:38

forward? No. It wasn't. Who was it that

00:45:38--> 00:45:40

stepped forward? None other than

00:45:42--> 00:45:44

Picture the scene, brothers and sisters.

00:45:45--> 00:45:47

Right? Faced against this monstrosity,

00:45:48--> 00:45:49

this Goliath

00:45:50--> 00:45:52

of an enemy in front of them. He

00:45:52--> 00:45:55

must have been scared, worried, you know, how

00:45:55--> 00:45:56

can I do this? But he didn't back

00:45:56--> 00:45:58

down, brothers and sisters. Sisters. He knew there

00:45:58--> 00:46:00

was a massive challenge ahead of him. He

00:46:00--> 00:46:01

put his trust in Allah.

00:46:01--> 00:46:03

He grabs his slingshot,

00:46:03--> 00:46:05

stone in it, and he starts to spin

00:46:05--> 00:46:06

that slingshot.

00:46:07--> 00:46:10

And with 1 mighty pelt he he flings

00:46:10--> 00:46:10

that slingshot

00:46:11--> 00:46:13

and that stone is penetrating through the air

00:46:14--> 00:46:15

and with 1 almighty

00:46:16--> 00:46:17

knock it hits Goliath.

00:46:18--> 00:46:20

It hits Goliath on his head, and in

00:46:20--> 00:46:21

an unimaginable

00:46:21--> 00:46:22

spectacle,

00:46:23--> 00:46:26

Goliath drops to the floor, and is victorious.

00:46:26--> 00:46:28

A victory that no one ever expected.

00:46:29--> 00:46:30

A victory that no one ever thought would

00:46:30--> 00:46:31

come.

00:46:32--> 00:46:34

This is the same as today, brothers and

00:46:34--> 00:46:36

sisters. We may be up against the media

00:46:37--> 00:46:40

giants of the world, these global multinational institutions.

00:46:41--> 00:46:44

And Islam 21 c may seem like

00:46:44--> 00:46:46

it's not capable of defeating this giant. But

00:46:46--> 00:46:47

brothers and sisters,

00:46:48--> 00:46:51

we are one of the important cogs. We

00:46:51--> 00:46:52

are one of the important links in the

00:46:52--> 00:46:55

chain that will be the chain that pulls

00:46:55--> 00:46:56

victory forward.

00:46:56--> 00:46:58

And we have to act. We have to

00:46:58--> 00:46:59

step forward

00:46:59--> 00:47:01

to bring about this change, to bring about

00:47:01--> 00:47:04

this victory because it could be from one

00:47:04--> 00:47:06

campaign. It could be from one article

00:47:06--> 00:47:09

that might change a community, change an individual

00:47:09--> 00:47:11

who will bring about real change in the

00:47:11--> 00:47:12

future. So never

00:47:12--> 00:47:13

never underestimate

00:47:13--> 00:47:15

the impact. Never underestimate the value

00:47:16--> 00:47:17

that your intention that your

00:47:18--> 00:47:20

your donation that your support can have

00:47:20--> 00:47:22

and tonight is just like that. So

00:47:23--> 00:47:23

to

00:47:24--> 00:47:24

Asmara,

00:47:26--> 00:47:28

which just donated £10

00:47:29--> 00:47:31

Do we have a nadir takabeer ready for

00:47:31--> 00:47:33

that? We do indeed. Are you ready? I'm

00:47:33--> 00:47:34

ready. Let's

00:47:38--> 00:47:39

go.

00:47:40--> 00:47:42

That is not what I was after.

00:47:43--> 00:47:45

Oh my god. Let's make that the first

00:47:45--> 00:47:47

and last time we do that, mister Mark.

00:47:48--> 00:47:50

Oh my god. Oh my god. Is there

00:47:50--> 00:47:52

anything I could find, bro? That didn't have

00:47:52--> 00:47:55

any, I I apologize. Channel closing connotations in

00:47:55--> 00:47:56

the background.

00:47:57--> 00:47:58

How about what about the the,

00:48:00--> 00:48:02

what's that? What do you think, brother and

00:48:02--> 00:48:03

sister? Do do do you like that?

00:48:06--> 00:48:07

I know they can hear us. That's why

00:48:07--> 00:48:08

I'm smiling in the background. What are you

00:48:08--> 00:48:10

talking? You're giving us a kind of a

00:48:10--> 00:48:10

serious

00:48:11--> 00:48:13

lesson and I was figuring away.

00:48:14--> 00:48:16

Okay. I tell you what, let's, let's get,

00:48:16--> 00:48:18

let's get Masha'Allah, brava. Let's get that one

00:48:18--> 00:48:21

from the place. Nice. Masha'Allah. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:48:21--> 00:48:22

Exactly.

00:48:22--> 00:48:23

To Asmara

00:48:23--> 00:48:24

Nazid. Masha'Allah.

00:48:25--> 00:48:26

I really, really appreciate

00:48:27--> 00:48:29

any any donation, any new house. Remember the

00:48:29--> 00:48:29

prophet said,

00:48:30--> 00:48:32

Sabaqa Dhirhami Ata Alf. 1 dirham

00:48:33--> 00:48:34

beat a 100,000.

00:48:34--> 00:48:36

You know? I know you as a Tarak

00:48:36--> 00:48:37

as a fundraiser, you know which one you'd

00:48:37--> 00:48:39

like. When it comes to the barakah, when

00:48:39--> 00:48:41

it comes to the how beloved is to

00:48:41--> 00:48:41

Allah

00:48:43--> 00:48:45

you know, a person who has 2 dirhams

00:48:45--> 00:48:47

giving giving away 1 is more beloved to

00:48:47--> 00:48:49

Allah than a millionaire grabbing a 100,000 giving

00:48:49--> 00:48:51

that away as a prophet

00:48:51--> 00:48:54

said. So that is, that's what it's all

00:48:54--> 00:48:56

about because it all belongs to Allah anyway.

00:48:56--> 00:48:58

You know? And, we're really really I'm really

00:48:58--> 00:48:59

appreciative of anyone.

00:49:01--> 00:49:04

I'm always it's always heartening to see that

00:49:04--> 00:49:04

people,

00:49:05--> 00:49:06

you know, they they they value the work

00:49:06--> 00:49:08

of San Francisco and it's humbling,

00:49:08--> 00:49:10

Spana. We have another one. Abdul

00:49:11--> 00:49:12

Salim.

00:49:13--> 00:49:14

Donated £50.

00:49:15--> 00:49:16

You ready?

00:49:16--> 00:49:17

Don't do it.

00:49:23--> 00:49:25

Okay. I'm gonna find the mushroom, brother.

00:49:27--> 00:49:29

You do that. Brothers and sisters,

00:49:29--> 00:49:31

I would never normally be eating on a

00:49:31--> 00:49:33

live appeal, but I feel that Ramadan is

00:49:33--> 00:49:33

justified.

00:49:34--> 00:49:35

Right? I can have a little snack. Is

00:49:35--> 00:49:37

that okay, someone? Can I have a little

00:49:37--> 00:49:39

snack? How could I stay mad at you?

00:49:40--> 00:49:41

May I bless you, bro? I'm having dark

00:49:41--> 00:49:42

chocolate. I'm keeping it healthy.

00:49:43--> 00:49:44

Good for your heart.

00:49:44--> 00:49:48

90 90% of of that. Maybe it's not

00:49:48--> 00:49:49

as bad for your heart.

00:49:49--> 00:49:51

Maybe not. Maybe not. Inshallah. So look, brothers

00:49:51--> 00:49:53

and sisters, we're gonna have,

00:49:53--> 00:49:54

doctor Sheikh

00:49:54--> 00:49:56

well, Sajid Umit, inshallah, is gonna be joining

00:49:56--> 00:49:58

us very soon, inshallah.

00:49:58--> 00:50:00

And And he's gonna be talking about some

00:50:00--> 00:50:01

important topics, which we'd love for you to

00:50:01--> 00:50:02

benefit from.

00:50:03--> 00:50:04

But in the meantime, we need to get

00:50:04--> 00:50:06

a call in the in the studio.

00:50:06--> 00:50:08

Call us now. 07769-433-3414.

00:50:10--> 00:50:11

The lines are empty.

00:50:12--> 00:50:14

Right? So we have options.

00:50:14--> 00:50:16

What we want you to support

00:50:17--> 00:50:19

Islam 21 C tonight Inshallah. What could we

00:50:19--> 00:50:20

lay it to other?

00:50:20--> 00:50:22

It's a point to remember the prophecy was

00:50:22--> 00:50:24

described as Ramadan will come, he would give

00:50:24--> 00:50:25

like the wind

00:50:26--> 00:50:28

that's constantly blowing constantly giving

00:50:28--> 00:50:29

in the same way.

00:50:30--> 00:50:32

Actually, I remember someone explaining this to me.

00:50:32--> 00:50:34

They said, the reason why, it's an interesting

00:50:34--> 00:50:36

analogy about the wind because the wind is

00:50:36--> 00:50:38

when the wind blows,

00:50:39--> 00:50:41

it's bringing so much with it. It's bringing,

00:50:41--> 00:50:43

you know, it's it's it's,

00:50:43--> 00:50:45

it's bringing a lot of

00:50:47--> 00:50:48

what is the wind does? Someone help me

00:50:48--> 00:50:49

out here. I'm trying to remember the wind.

00:50:49--> 00:50:51

It it it has a lot of effect

00:50:51--> 00:50:52

environmentally and,

00:50:52--> 00:50:54

on the on the agriculture.

00:50:55--> 00:50:58

Yeah. Disperses seeds. There you go. Disperses seeds.

00:50:58--> 00:50:59

What else does it do?

00:50:59--> 00:51:01

It, it's it's indiscriminate.

00:51:03--> 00:51:05

It gives gives anyone the benefit. And you

00:51:05--> 00:51:07

can imagine a a desert dwelling people

00:51:08--> 00:51:10

and the harsh heat, a cool breeze is

00:51:10--> 00:51:12

something, you know, out of this world.

00:51:13--> 00:51:13

It's fun.

00:51:14--> 00:51:15

And and when you think about it as

00:51:15--> 00:51:16

well,

00:51:17--> 00:51:18

so many of us know that the process

00:51:18--> 00:51:20

needs to give out the wind, but what

00:51:20--> 00:51:22

we don't know many of us and III

00:51:22--> 00:51:24

was really pleased to hear this is that.

00:51:25--> 00:51:27

Himself descends from the heavens in Ramadan

00:51:28--> 00:51:31

to encourage the prophet Muhammad to give

00:51:32--> 00:51:34

and if the prophet had happened to forget,

00:51:35--> 00:51:37

would descend to remind him.

00:51:38--> 00:51:40

Right? To remind him to give this is

00:51:40--> 00:51:42

profound brothers and sisters. If you think about

00:51:42--> 00:51:43

it. Right? We we

00:51:44--> 00:51:47

we associate Jibril Islam with with mighty

00:51:47--> 00:51:48

tasks.

00:51:48--> 00:51:50

Yeah the greatest tasks of all the angels

00:51:51--> 00:51:53

to bring down Wahi, to bring down revelation,

00:52:03--> 00:52:04

to give sadaqa.

00:52:05--> 00:52:06

So,

00:52:06--> 00:52:09

you know, obviously the prophet is gone, but

00:52:09--> 00:52:11

the legacy and these gems

00:52:11--> 00:52:12

that teach us how

00:52:13--> 00:52:15

to interact with our lord. They're there for

00:52:15--> 00:52:17

us. They're available. So let's focus on those

00:52:17--> 00:52:19

on this blessed night of what could be

00:52:19--> 00:52:21

later to other these last 10 nights.

00:52:22--> 00:52:24

What is an odd night inshallah? Let's support.

00:52:24--> 00:52:25

We are looking for

00:52:25--> 00:52:28

50 people to give £100. We've already had,

00:52:29--> 00:52:31

I think we've had let's see. We've got

00:52:31--> 00:52:33

1, 2.

00:52:34--> 00:52:36

We've got at least 2 people who've given

00:52:36--> 00:52:37

a £100. We've got one who's given a

00:52:37--> 00:52:38

500.

00:52:38--> 00:52:40

We've got an 87 in there, a 50

00:52:40--> 00:52:41

in there, another 50.

00:52:42--> 00:52:43

So by my calculation,

00:52:44--> 00:52:47

7, 8, 9, I'd say we're coming close,

00:52:47--> 00:52:48

very close to a 1,000.

00:52:49--> 00:52:50

We're about a 5th of the way through

00:52:50--> 00:52:52

our target, which is good.

00:52:53--> 00:52:55

Let's have let's have some confetti. I feel

00:52:55--> 00:52:56

I'm in a confetti kinda mood.

00:52:57--> 00:52:59

Let's press the button. Come on guys. Let's

00:52:59--> 00:53:02

celebrate. That's a celebration. I have I have

00:53:02--> 00:53:02

no

00:53:03--> 00:53:05

no power of the confetti as somebody else's

00:53:05--> 00:53:05

department.

00:53:06--> 00:53:07

Oh, there you go. There you go. They

00:53:07--> 00:53:09

have we haven't called and they have answered,

00:53:10--> 00:53:11

to the admin team in the back, yeah,

00:53:11--> 00:53:13

our brother, if you could give us an

00:53:13--> 00:53:15

update on how much we're actually on, I

00:53:15--> 00:53:16

count just under a1000.

00:53:17--> 00:53:19

So brothers and sisters, we're looking for

00:53:19--> 00:53:21

another group of people. We're looking for 40

00:53:21--> 00:53:23

people to come forward and give a £100.

00:53:24--> 00:53:26

Right? Forty more people to give

00:53:27--> 00:53:29

a £100 to get us to the 5,000

00:53:29--> 00:53:31

target for tonight inshallah. I know we can

00:53:31--> 00:53:32

do it. I know we're gonna do it.

00:53:32--> 00:53:34

We've only been here for less than an

00:53:34--> 00:53:37

hour. Right? We've got another hour left.

00:53:37--> 00:53:39

And inshallah, as we get closer to the

00:53:39--> 00:53:40

last 3rd

00:53:41--> 00:53:43

of the night when Allah descends to see

00:53:43--> 00:53:45

which of my slaves is calling on me,

00:53:45--> 00:53:46

which of my slaves is asking for forgiveness.

00:53:47--> 00:53:49

Allah's there, brothers and sisters. So give this

00:53:49--> 00:53:49

sadaqa,

00:53:50--> 00:53:53

and it'll be a witness for you. And

00:53:53--> 00:53:55

sisters. So we are we are Islam 21

00:53:55--> 00:53:58

c. We're here live with, doctor Sajid Umar

00:53:58--> 00:54:00

coming on very shortly. And we are here

00:54:00--> 00:54:01

to talk to you a bit about

00:54:02--> 00:54:06

the Palestine Truth Campaign. So, Samad, what's been

00:54:06--> 00:54:08

the impact of the Palestine Truth Campaign so

00:54:08--> 00:54:09

far?

00:54:11--> 00:54:13

We haven't actually launched that specific campaign,

00:54:14--> 00:54:16

yet. Right? We've had,

00:54:17--> 00:54:19

it's it's the planning. It's gone in, gone

00:54:19--> 00:54:20

in the background, alhamdulillah.

00:54:21--> 00:54:24

But, as the I think, Tarek sent you

00:54:25--> 00:54:27

a PowerPoint with going through all of this

00:54:27--> 00:54:29

stuff. But, in terms of our Palestine con

00:54:29--> 00:54:31

content, you know, we've been blasting,

00:54:32--> 00:54:35

since, you know, the obviously, before 7th October,

00:54:35--> 00:54:37

but since the, the the the genocide stepped

00:54:37--> 00:54:38

up again,

00:54:39--> 00:54:41

you know, with the last permission, we've been

00:54:41--> 00:54:42

we've been,

00:54:42--> 00:54:44

blasting all kinds of, important,

00:54:45--> 00:54:46

you know, narratives and,

00:54:47--> 00:54:48

interviews, podcasts,

00:54:50--> 00:54:51

graphic series,

00:54:52--> 00:54:53

daily video series,

00:54:54--> 00:54:55

in in Amazon as well.

00:54:56--> 00:54:58

I beg your pardon. So, yeah,

00:54:58--> 00:55:00

there's been a lot of, content

00:55:00--> 00:55:03

articles as well. Who can forget our bread

00:55:03--> 00:55:03

and

00:55:03--> 00:55:05

butter. So, yeah,

00:55:05--> 00:55:07

the the the Palestine truth campaign,

00:55:08--> 00:55:10

it's more specific, more

00:55:13--> 00:55:14

kind of concise,

00:55:15--> 00:55:15

attacking

00:55:16--> 00:55:16

certain,

00:55:18--> 00:55:19

you know, misinformation

00:55:20--> 00:55:20

and

00:55:21--> 00:55:24

correcting narratives about the Palestinian cause.

00:55:24--> 00:55:25

Alhamdulillah.

00:55:25--> 00:55:26

Something you know

00:55:28--> 00:55:31

dear to all of our hearts. Let's see

00:55:31--> 00:55:34

if we can get a a

00:55:35--> 00:55:37

oh, it's right. £950. So, brothers and sisters,

00:55:37--> 00:55:39

the next 2 minutes, we need someone to

00:55:39--> 00:55:42

call in or someone to go online or

00:55:42--> 00:55:43

someone to call the donation line and do

00:55:43--> 00:55:46

that £50 to get us up to

00:55:46--> 00:55:47

£1,000.

00:55:48--> 00:55:50

Okay? If you can do more, do more,

00:55:50--> 00:55:51

but let's get that 952,

00:55:52--> 00:55:54

2000. It is 1226

00:55:55--> 00:55:55

by 1228,

00:55:56--> 00:55:57

1229 latest.

00:55:58--> 00:56:00

We need to go be past that 1,000

00:56:00--> 00:56:00

mark inshallah.

00:56:01--> 00:56:03

So who's gonna take us there? Who's gonna

00:56:03--> 00:56:05

who's gonna In the meantime, I'm gonna show

00:56:05--> 00:56:06

some comments.

00:56:06--> 00:56:07

I have this very,

00:56:08--> 00:56:09

important comment

00:56:10--> 00:56:12

from SC. Can hear you both.

00:56:13--> 00:56:16

And asked if he wrote Pakistani.

00:56:17--> 00:56:20

That was, 19 past, so What did we

00:56:20--> 00:56:21

say? What did we say for him today?

00:56:21--> 00:56:23

It was the, I think it was maybe

00:56:23--> 00:56:26

the the Takbir. No Takbir. Asen, if you're

00:56:26--> 00:56:26

still listening,

00:56:27--> 00:56:29

let us know what you're referring to. I

00:56:29--> 00:56:30

think it's the

00:56:30--> 00:56:33

the, the notest opinion. Ethnicity. Maybe that's what

00:56:33--> 00:56:34

it is.

00:56:39--> 00:56:42

So let's get that next person together. £50

00:56:42--> 00:56:44

to get us past the £1,000 mark.

00:56:45--> 00:56:45

We need

00:56:46--> 00:56:47

40 people.

00:56:48--> 00:56:49

So just 40, we've got more than a

00:56:49--> 00:56:52

100 watching, I believe. Oh, that's correct, Asan.

00:56:52--> 00:56:53

So if you're not there.

00:56:54--> 00:56:56

Not a problem. I think, Asan, I think

00:56:56--> 00:56:58

it was very notable whether you're Pakistani or

00:56:58--> 00:57:00

not that that was a Pakistani clip.

00:57:01--> 00:57:01

Yeah?

00:57:02--> 00:57:05

That was, it's ex, special points for, anyone

00:57:05--> 00:57:07

who knows where it's from.

00:57:07--> 00:57:08

Oh,

00:57:09--> 00:57:09

it's some,

00:57:10--> 00:57:12

it was some Bollywood movie or something, is

00:57:12--> 00:57:13

it? No.

00:57:14--> 00:57:14

No?

00:57:14--> 00:57:15

Masha'Allah.

00:57:15--> 00:57:17

He's doing it again.

00:57:20--> 00:57:20

Are you ready?

00:57:21--> 00:57:22

Let's go. I think he wants the takmir,

00:57:22--> 00:57:23

bro.

00:57:23--> 00:57:25

That's what it is.

00:57:26--> 00:57:27

If he does it,

00:57:28--> 00:57:30

I don't know. Let's go. I can't believe

00:57:30--> 00:57:32

we're doing this. I apologize, everyone. I'm I'm

00:57:32--> 00:57:33

sorry. I'm sorry.

00:57:36--> 00:57:38

Can we can we do the

00:57:39--> 00:57:40

after that, please? How about this?

00:57:42--> 00:57:43

Push hello, brother.

00:57:43--> 00:57:45

That's the one someone.

00:57:45--> 00:57:46

That's the one.

00:57:47--> 00:57:49

Was it loud enough? That that Didn't feel

00:57:49--> 00:57:51

that loud? It could be a bit louder,

00:57:51--> 00:57:52

but it was good.

00:57:56--> 00:57:57

I like it. Brother.

00:57:59--> 00:58:01

Farhan another one.

00:58:03--> 00:58:04

Farhan donated £10.

00:58:07--> 00:58:09

Bless you my brother. Please, brothers and sisters

00:58:09--> 00:58:09

watching,

00:58:10--> 00:58:12

that's it. Please encourage your friends and family.

00:58:13--> 00:58:16

We're asking 40 people to give a £100.

00:58:16--> 00:58:18

Maybe you can only give 10. Why not

00:58:18--> 00:58:20

get 9 other people to give another 10

00:58:20--> 00:58:21

to get it to the 100?

00:58:21--> 00:58:23

That will help your your,

00:58:23--> 00:58:26

you know you're creating a ripple effect. Yeah.

00:58:26--> 00:58:28

Have the last we got that donation coming

00:58:28--> 00:58:29

through. We got all the confetti

00:58:29--> 00:58:31

going all over the place, brothers and sisters

00:58:31--> 00:58:34

have that we're celebrating these generous donations.

00:58:35--> 00:58:38

I'm getting more, I'm getting more evidence now

00:58:38--> 00:58:40

from the audience that, the Taqvir is a

00:58:40--> 00:58:40

hit.

00:58:41--> 00:58:44

Right. I think we have got. Adi Patel

00:58:44--> 00:58:45

is give £50.

00:58:55--> 00:58:57

Can someone in the comments please complain about

00:58:57--> 00:58:59

this? Yeah. If we get enough complaints, we

00:58:59--> 00:59:01

can get this guy at least attend that

00:59:01--> 00:59:03

sound effect. Let

00:59:04--> 00:59:05

me go online and complain. I think that's

00:59:05--> 00:59:06

all.

00:59:06--> 00:59:08

Who who is this guy?

00:59:08--> 00:59:10

So brothers and sisters if you've just joined

00:59:11--> 00:59:13

us. 21c we're live here. It should be

00:59:13--> 00:59:15

an hour into the show. We've got an

00:59:15--> 00:59:16

hour left.

00:59:16--> 00:59:18

We are here to get your support on

00:59:18--> 00:59:21

this blessed night, the odd nights, the last

00:59:21--> 00:59:23

10 nights. You know, what could be, we're

00:59:23--> 00:59:24

here to ask for your support

00:59:25--> 00:59:27

in helping us fight the digital war. It's

00:59:27--> 00:59:30

the ideological attack that's taking place worldwide globally

00:59:31--> 00:59:33

on men, women, on our children. They're attacking

00:59:33--> 00:59:35

our values, attacking our way of life.

00:59:35--> 00:59:37

It's a real situation,

00:59:37--> 00:59:38

and, unfortunately,

00:59:38--> 00:59:39

we have prioritized

00:59:40--> 00:59:42

other things that need our support, of course,

00:59:42--> 00:59:44

are worthy of giving, but we've neglected

00:59:44--> 00:59:47

organizations like Islam 21 c.

00:59:48--> 00:59:51

And to be honest, like I heard, our

00:59:51--> 00:59:51

brother,

00:59:52--> 00:59:53

Hamzah Zawtas, who'll be on in a couple

00:59:53--> 00:59:55

of days. I I heard him say it

00:59:55--> 00:59:58

about another very similar organization to to Islam

00:59:58--> 01:00:00

21 c. He said about 5 pillars. The

01:00:01--> 01:00:02

Organization doing great work as well.

01:00:03--> 01:00:05

And he said it's a shame, and the

01:00:05--> 01:00:07

same applies for Islam 21 c. He said

01:00:07--> 01:00:10

it's a shame that this organization is not

01:00:10--> 01:00:12

30, 40, 50 times the size that it

01:00:12--> 01:00:13

should be.

01:00:14--> 01:00:16

Because that's the need first thing on the

01:00:16--> 01:00:18

ground. That's the response we have to have.

01:00:18--> 01:00:19

We have to make these

01:00:19--> 01:00:21

movements, these institutions,

01:00:21--> 01:00:24

you know, a part of the foundation or

01:00:24--> 01:00:25

and and the fabric of what we do

01:00:25--> 01:00:26

in our society.

01:00:27--> 01:00:29

So we have to grow them. We have

01:00:29--> 01:00:29

to support them.

01:00:30--> 01:00:32

And if we do that, we'll see that

01:00:32--> 01:00:34

the narrative will slowly start to shift. We'll

01:00:34--> 01:00:35

start to counter

01:00:36--> 01:00:37

the Islamophobia.

01:00:37--> 01:00:38

We'll start to normalize

01:00:38--> 01:00:41

Islam more, create more positive discourse,

01:00:41--> 01:00:43

and and present Islam in a compelling and

01:00:43--> 01:00:46

compassionate way to those others who don't understand

01:00:46--> 01:00:48

it and bring benefit.

01:00:48--> 01:00:49

So

01:00:49--> 01:00:50

great.

01:00:50--> 01:00:52

I'm hearing myself. Is that normal, someone? There's

01:00:52--> 01:00:54

others who don't understand it. As long as,

01:00:55--> 01:00:57

your voice isn't telling you to do anything

01:00:57--> 01:00:58

dangerous, then it's fine. Okay.

01:01:02--> 01:01:03

Okay. I'll I'll keep that in mind. I'll

01:01:03--> 01:01:05

let you know if I need any help.

01:01:06--> 01:01:07

Right, brothers and sisters. Let's get some calls,

01:01:07--> 01:01:10

and we got some good generous donations. So

01:01:10--> 01:01:11

let's say a big call, a big shout

01:01:11--> 01:01:13

to Adil, to Farhan,

01:01:13--> 01:01:14

to Nahid,

01:01:14--> 01:01:17

to Abdul Salib, to Asmara, Mohammed Musa,

01:01:18--> 01:01:19

Asan,

01:01:19--> 01:01:20

Latif,

01:01:21--> 01:01:24

Nahid Shah, Faisal Hayat, Abu Bakr, Hani.

01:01:24--> 01:01:26

We got lots of generous people out there

01:01:27--> 01:01:29

and the dua requires more brothers and sisters.

01:01:30--> 01:01:32

So let's give let's support the cause in

01:01:32--> 01:01:34

sha Allah. Islam 21 c is here. Simon,

01:01:34--> 01:01:35

do we have an update

01:01:36--> 01:01:38

on our beloved Sheikh Sajid? Will he be

01:01:38--> 01:01:39

joining us anytime soon?

01:01:40--> 01:01:42

Yeah. He said no. He'll get he gets

01:01:42--> 01:01:43

back from, Tarawee

01:01:44--> 01:01:45

after midnight.

01:01:45--> 01:01:48

So Okay. Barik is, calling in the background

01:01:48--> 01:01:49

to schedule things

01:01:49--> 01:01:52

Right. So brothers and sisters, stay tuned. Hopefully,

01:01:52--> 01:01:54

we'll have chef Sajid joining us very shortly.

01:01:55--> 01:01:57

Inshallah. I'm sure you're sitting there. I'm sure

01:01:57--> 01:01:58

many people are actually sitting there with this

01:01:58--> 01:02:00

on while they read some Quran, while they

01:02:00--> 01:02:01

do some.

01:02:02--> 01:02:03

So as you're doing that, maybe just grab

01:02:03--> 01:02:05

this link, share it with some friends and

01:02:05--> 01:02:07

families, ask them to join in,

01:02:07--> 01:02:08

ask them to make a commitment.

01:02:09--> 01:02:10

The more we can do it together, Inshallah,

01:02:10--> 01:02:12

the more impact we can have. We are

01:02:12--> 01:02:13

currently on

01:02:15--> 01:02:15

£1,060

01:02:17--> 01:02:19

which is just over a 5th way

01:02:19--> 01:02:21

of our 5,000 target, the Charlotte Brothers and

01:02:21--> 01:02:22

Sisters.

01:02:22--> 01:02:25

So The the software is telling us there's

01:02:25--> 01:02:27

99 people watching. It went down to 97.

01:02:28--> 01:02:28

98.

01:02:29--> 01:02:31

Okay. That's good.

01:02:31--> 01:02:33

Try to send send it around to more

01:02:33--> 01:02:34

and more people. Get over a 100 people

01:02:34--> 01:02:36

watching at the same time. Let's do it.

01:02:36--> 01:02:38

You know 99 is a good number for

01:02:38--> 01:02:39

an online stream,

01:02:39--> 01:02:40

and

01:02:40--> 01:02:42

what we need is it's not really the

01:02:42--> 01:02:44

numbers that matter. It's the quality of people

01:02:44--> 01:02:45

watching.

01:02:45--> 01:02:47

So brothers and sisters I think we're gonna

01:02:47--> 01:02:48

have some beef now.

01:02:49--> 01:02:51

Oh, I'm gonna oh, I think is this

01:02:51--> 01:02:52

the same? Oh, Ahmed.

01:02:53--> 01:02:55

I think people might donate if you promise

01:02:55--> 01:02:56

to not do that.

01:02:57--> 01:02:59

I agree with Ahmed. Ahmed, you're a smart

01:02:59--> 01:03:00

guy.

01:03:00--> 01:03:03

See, he's not that psychological background. We're getting

01:03:03--> 01:03:05

we're getting conflicting reports. I'm getting WhatsApp that

01:03:05--> 01:03:06

message is

01:03:06--> 01:03:08

saying, keep the takbir.

01:03:08--> 01:03:11

Listen. Listen. Nothing in life is free. If

01:03:11--> 01:03:12

they want that takbir,

01:03:12--> 01:03:14

right, they're gonna have to pay for it.

01:03:14--> 01:03:16

Okay? And those who don't want it, they

01:03:16--> 01:03:18

also have to pay. Not my intentions.

01:03:20--> 01:03:21

Right.

01:03:21--> 01:03:23

Ahmed, I agree with you. I'm I'm with

01:03:23--> 01:03:25

you, Ahmed. Let's let's get let's get some

01:03:25--> 01:03:27

movement on this Inshallah.

01:03:27--> 01:03:29

Ahmed, I think if you donate £50, we're

01:03:29--> 01:03:31

in a good chance of applying some pressure

01:03:31--> 01:03:33

that £50 came through to not Okay. If

01:03:33--> 01:03:36

Ahmed donates £50, then I'll promise not to

01:03:36--> 01:03:37

do the.

01:03:39--> 01:03:39

Yeah.

01:03:40--> 01:03:41

And if not, what are you gonna do?

01:03:42--> 01:03:43

We just hit a 100 people and went

01:03:43--> 01:03:45

down to 99 again. So maybe somebody you

01:03:45--> 01:03:48

see, somebody left when I promised not to

01:03:48--> 01:03:49

do the top video.

01:03:49--> 01:03:50

Can you see that?

01:03:50--> 01:03:52

We had hit a 100 people watching live.

01:03:53--> 01:03:55

Some of them. Thanks, Hassan. Ahmed,

01:03:55--> 01:03:58

you have 3 minutes. Okay? You have 3

01:03:58--> 01:04:00

minutes for starting from now,

01:04:01--> 01:04:03

okay, to make a donation of £50.

01:04:04--> 01:04:06

Otherwise, he's going to do the Nanak ada

01:04:06--> 01:04:08

beard. Yeah. I'm I'm not even sure if

01:04:08--> 01:04:11

it's if it's appropriate. If is is it,

01:04:11--> 01:04:13

you know I just thought I don't feel

01:04:13--> 01:04:15

comfortable with this narrative. It's been a shock,

01:04:16--> 01:04:16

Islamic,

01:04:17--> 01:04:19

head of Islamic thought. Yeah.

01:04:20--> 01:04:22

Now we're in trouble. Now we're in trouble.

01:04:22--> 01:04:25

Right. We are, Ahmed, you've got 2 and

01:04:25--> 01:04:26

a half minutes inshallah. We've got a comment

01:04:26--> 01:04:27

come through.

01:04:27--> 01:04:30

Okay. I'll do that until someone pays. I

01:04:30--> 01:04:31

want you to do it again.

01:04:33--> 01:04:36

Okay. I think we've we've stumbled across something

01:04:36--> 01:04:37

here. I'll do that until

01:04:38--> 01:04:40

someone pays 100 to do it again.

01:04:40--> 01:04:42

Alright. Let's do that. Okay. So does that

01:04:42--> 01:04:44

mean we have a is that a deal?

01:04:44--> 01:04:46

So it's a Ahmed is saying that he's

01:04:46--> 01:04:48

gonna donate £50 now,

01:04:48--> 01:04:50

and we're not going to do the until

01:04:51--> 01:04:53

someone donates a £100.

01:04:54--> 01:04:56

That's simply for the knowledge to be.

01:04:57--> 01:04:58

Yeah. I think so.

01:04:59--> 01:05:00

And and then we'd have to get the

01:05:00--> 01:05:02

next person to pay a 150 to not

01:05:02--> 01:05:04

do it. So we'll work by that. Yeah.

01:05:05--> 01:05:07

Okay. So is that a deal? Yes. We

01:05:07--> 01:05:09

have a deal. I think we have a

01:05:09--> 01:05:11

deal, brothers. We got a deal. That like

01:05:11--> 01:05:12

it. Okay. So

01:05:12--> 01:05:13

so of those 99

01:05:14--> 01:05:15

people approximately

01:05:16--> 01:05:16

Brother.

01:05:17--> 01:05:18

Oh, that's nice and loud.

01:05:19--> 01:05:21

I don't know what happened, but I'm sure

01:05:21--> 01:05:22

my husband's left.

01:05:22--> 01:05:23

Right.

01:05:24--> 01:05:25

For those nights that I'm watching, what we

01:05:25--> 01:05:26

would like to have is we'd like to

01:05:26--> 01:05:28

have someone call in the studio. Oh, it's

01:05:28--> 01:05:30

9. I wonder how it is.

01:05:30--> 01:05:33

Doing this. This is the third one,

01:05:33--> 01:05:34

the 4th one.

01:05:35--> 01:05:37

What what which is what? I'm talking

01:05:37--> 01:05:38

this this,

01:05:39--> 01:05:40

these sessions we're having? Is this the 3rd

01:05:40--> 01:05:42

or 4th when we've had it? The second

01:05:42--> 01:05:42

row.

01:05:43--> 01:05:45

2nd. Okay. Has anyone called in in the

01:05:45--> 01:05:48

previous one? The, tuned in, didn't you?

01:05:48--> 01:05:49

I was preoccupied.

01:05:50--> 01:05:51

Forgive me. Yeah.

01:05:54--> 01:05:55

Have we had someone called in previously?

01:05:56--> 01:05:58

Where's the link? The link is The link

01:05:58--> 01:06:00

is on the screen, my brother. It's not

01:06:00--> 01:06:01

here. It's on the.comforward/sociallive.

01:06:03--> 01:06:04

That's it. It's right down there.

01:06:07--> 01:06:07

There you

01:06:11--> 01:06:13

go. Oh, Asim was in the last one.

01:06:13--> 01:06:14

So Asim, did you call in? That's the

01:06:14--> 01:06:15

question.

01:06:16--> 01:06:18

Did Asim call in the last one?

01:06:19--> 01:06:21

I was the last one.

01:06:21--> 01:06:22

I was in the last one.

01:06:23--> 01:06:24

Yeah.

01:06:27--> 01:06:27

Hassan,

01:06:28--> 01:06:29

Did he call in, Saman? This is the

01:06:29--> 01:06:30

question. No. He didn't.

01:06:31--> 01:06:33

Okay. Asad, I'm inviting you to some good

01:06:33--> 01:06:35

stuff. Okay? I want to talk to you.

01:06:35--> 01:06:36

I wanna hear,

01:06:36--> 01:06:38

are you the big man

01:06:38--> 01:06:39

that you look like as you've done it?

01:06:39--> 01:06:41

I wanna hear, does the voice reflect the

01:06:41--> 01:06:42

actions?

01:06:42--> 01:06:45

Okay? Give us a call. Let's find out.

01:06:46--> 01:06:47

Give us a call, Asim. We wanna hear

01:06:47--> 01:06:48

from you.

01:06:49--> 01:06:51

The Asim's donated twice. We wanna know why.

01:06:51--> 01:06:54

Why? What's motivated? What you inspired you?

01:06:56--> 01:06:57

I think we need to get a full

01:06:57--> 01:06:59

fit going, Saman. If if we don't if

01:06:59--> 01:07:01

we get, what can we do? I could

01:07:01--> 01:07:03

call him. I know who he is.

01:07:05--> 01:07:06

No. No.

01:07:06--> 01:07:08

They have to call us. We need the

01:07:08--> 01:07:09

calls in the studio.

01:07:09--> 01:07:12

Right? We need to get some targets set.

01:07:12--> 01:07:13

Right? We are on

01:07:13--> 01:07:15

we are on 12:38.

01:07:15--> 01:07:17

Right? In the next 8 minutes,

01:07:18--> 01:07:19

I need to get

01:07:20--> 01:07:22

a 102 fifties.

01:07:22--> 01:07:24

Okay? I need a £100250.

01:07:26--> 01:07:29

We need the 100, to reestablish the by

01:07:29--> 01:07:32

the way. Yes. Remember that? Let's do that.

01:07:32--> 01:07:34

Okay. So firstly, has has Ahmed come in

01:07:34--> 01:07:34

yet?

01:07:36--> 01:07:38

Ahmed has not come in. Ahmed, what is

01:07:38--> 01:07:40

going on? Let's get that donation in Insha'Allah.

01:07:41--> 01:07:44

Maybe he has. Maybe he has. Maybe. The

01:07:44--> 01:07:45

Ghazi is,

01:07:47--> 01:07:49

in the background checking, all the stats.

01:07:50--> 01:07:51

Let's go. Speaking of,

01:07:52--> 01:07:54

that's a hint as to where the original,

01:07:55--> 01:07:57

the this Nara Takbir sound effect came from.

01:08:00--> 01:08:01

I'm not So you might be compelled by

01:08:01--> 01:08:03

a copyright law to mention it at some

01:08:03--> 01:08:04

point anyway.

01:08:05--> 01:08:07

Anyone if anyone knows where that night at

01:08:07--> 01:08:09

the bid came from, let us know in

01:08:09--> 01:08:09

the comments.

01:08:12--> 01:08:14

We're still waiting for Ahmed. Ahmed, I thought

01:08:14--> 01:08:16

we had a deal, bro. I thought we

01:08:16--> 01:08:16

had a deal.

01:08:17--> 01:08:19

He he was asking for the link, so

01:08:19--> 01:08:21

maybe he's, maybe he's still

01:08:22--> 01:08:23

maybe still in does that mean we can

01:08:23--> 01:08:25

still do the Navitak before it comes

01:08:26--> 01:08:27

Let's do it.

01:08:27--> 01:08:29

In. Get it quickly.

01:08:30--> 01:08:31

Why am I encouraging you?

01:08:33--> 01:08:35

Someone I wanna talk about the power of

01:08:35--> 01:08:35

bots,

01:08:36--> 01:08:36

robots.

01:08:37--> 01:08:37

Mhmm.

01:08:37--> 01:08:38

You know, we

01:08:39--> 01:08:41

how how many articles does Islam 21 c

01:08:41--> 01:08:42

produce

01:08:42--> 01:08:44

on average per week, per month? Give us

01:08:44--> 01:08:46

some stats. Do you know what the top

01:08:46--> 01:08:46

of your head?

01:08:47--> 01:08:48

I've

01:08:49--> 01:08:50

got a figure in my head of, like,

01:08:50--> 01:08:51

500 a year.

01:08:52--> 01:08:53

500 a year? That's,

01:08:54--> 01:08:56

because we have these annual meetings and,

01:08:57--> 01:08:59

every 300 to 500 a year.

01:09:00--> 01:09:00

Okay.

01:09:01--> 01:09:03

So that's interesting. And then couple that with

01:09:03--> 01:09:05

all the videos we produce,

01:09:06--> 01:09:07

There's a podcast.

01:09:08--> 01:09:09

There's a news feed.

01:09:10--> 01:09:12

There's lots of different clips of putting your

01:09:12--> 01:09:13

notes on ebook.

01:09:14--> 01:09:15

Picture this, brothers and sisters.

01:09:17--> 01:09:18

One of the last

01:09:19--> 01:09:21

political events in the world

01:09:22--> 01:09:25

is the American presidential elections.

01:09:26--> 01:09:28

And when this is happening, it's the most

01:09:28--> 01:09:30

talked about topic in the world.

01:09:30--> 01:09:33

You have places like India, Russia reporting on

01:09:33--> 01:09:34

it.

01:09:34--> 01:09:35

So what happened was

01:09:36--> 01:09:39

in a 2016 presidential election,

01:09:40--> 01:09:42

would you believe that as much as 20%

01:09:43--> 01:09:46

of all political discussion on social media,

01:09:47--> 01:09:48

it was generated by what?

01:09:49--> 01:09:52

It was generated by bots. It was generated

01:09:52--> 01:09:53

by about 400,000

01:09:55--> 01:09:57

social media bots.

01:09:57--> 01:09:59

Why do I mention that? Look. What is

01:09:59--> 01:10:01

a bot? A bot is basically a program,

01:10:01--> 01:10:02

right, that's run

01:10:03--> 01:10:05

to take a narrative,

01:10:06--> 01:10:09

manipulate it, change the word, change the style,

01:10:09--> 01:10:10

but the meaning is the same.

01:10:11--> 01:10:13

And those bots, they produce these narratives, they're

01:10:13--> 01:10:15

responding to comments online,

01:10:16--> 01:10:18

they're they're they're posting stuff everywhere.

01:10:19--> 01:10:20

There's fake accounts,

01:10:21--> 01:10:24

and they're just creating a a an account

01:10:24--> 01:10:24

narrative.

01:10:24--> 01:10:26

So if you wanna get someone in power,

01:10:26--> 01:10:29

you wanna elect someone, whatever it is, right,

01:10:30--> 01:10:33

It's these narratives that are putting presidents

01:10:33--> 01:10:35

into positions. It's electing presidents.

01:10:35--> 01:10:37

So imagine, 20%

01:10:37--> 01:10:38

of all online discourse

01:10:39--> 01:10:40

was created by 400,000

01:10:41--> 01:10:42

bots.

01:10:42--> 01:10:43

Robots, programs,

01:10:44--> 01:10:47

typing away. So all the articles were created

01:10:47--> 01:10:48

no matter how many we put out per

01:10:48--> 01:10:50

week, per month, per year.

01:10:50--> 01:10:52

It doesn't compare, brothers and sisters. This is

01:10:52--> 01:10:54

what we're up against. Now

01:10:54--> 01:10:56

in the future, we're not,

01:10:57--> 01:10:58

you know, this doesn't have to be a

01:10:58--> 01:11:01

technology that we're not at, we're not paying.

01:11:02--> 01:11:03

You know, we can do we can do

01:11:03--> 01:11:06

amazing things as well. It's like Ahmed just

01:11:06--> 01:11:07

did. He just gave £50.

01:11:08--> 01:11:09

Let's get let's get a sound effect.

01:11:13--> 01:11:15

So we can't get the Narita. There's someone

01:11:15--> 01:11:17

who likes the Narita bead pays more. It

01:11:17--> 01:11:19

shouldn't be played. Okay. There you have it,

01:11:19--> 01:11:21

brothers and sisters. The gun has been thrown.

01:11:22--> 01:11:22

Who's gonna

01:11:24--> 01:11:27

drop some Nartic bid? So Ahmed has saved

01:11:27--> 01:11:28

me. Hold her.

01:11:29--> 01:11:31

Cash. Yeah. Again. I mean, up to 99

01:11:31--> 01:11:32

people. Mentioned the

01:11:33--> 01:11:35

and it just jumped up more viewers watching.

01:11:36--> 01:11:38

I think there's a there's a correlation here.

01:11:39--> 01:11:40

Let's see what the comments are saying. Are

01:11:40--> 01:11:42

people happy that it's not there?

01:11:44--> 01:11:46

We need a we need a sound effect

01:11:46--> 01:11:46

for,

01:11:47--> 01:11:49

for Ahmed's donation. Are you ready?

01:11:50--> 01:11:51

Hold on. Who's a

01:11:52--> 01:11:53

Brother.

01:11:53--> 01:11:55

That's it. There you go. AKF, play the.

01:11:56--> 01:11:58

Let's see if I like it. My brother,

01:11:58--> 01:12:00

we have set a challenge, and we have

01:12:00--> 01:12:01

said

01:12:01--> 01:12:03

that if you want the Nadi tuck beard,

01:12:03--> 01:12:04

you have to donate a 100.

01:12:05--> 01:12:08

Okay? So Ahmed said he'll give 50. It's

01:12:08--> 01:12:10

worth it. It's worth it, bro. Yeah.

01:12:12--> 01:12:14

Ahmed said he'll pay 50 to 10. Also

01:12:14--> 01:12:15

put this,

01:12:16--> 01:12:18

this important thing. Put that number in the

01:12:18--> 01:12:20

chat or description to make it easy to

01:12:20--> 01:12:21

call. That's a good idea. I put it

01:12:21--> 01:12:21

on the,

01:12:22--> 01:12:23

chat

01:12:23--> 01:12:26

in the on the YouTube, but then we're

01:12:26--> 01:12:28

streaming in on multiple different platforms. So,

01:12:30--> 01:12:32

yeah, my screen is probably easier.

01:12:34--> 01:12:36

Alright. So if you wanna hear the beer,

01:12:36--> 01:12:38

you have to make a donation of £100

01:12:39--> 01:12:40

now.

01:12:40--> 01:12:42

Ahmed paid 50 to block it.

01:12:43--> 01:12:45

Now you need to pay a 100 if

01:12:45--> 01:12:47

you wanna hear it. It's worth someone thinks

01:12:47--> 01:12:48

it's worth it.

01:12:49--> 01:12:49

I,

01:12:50--> 01:12:52

I definitely disagree, but I want I want

01:12:52--> 01:12:53

a only he's done a 100 quid, so

01:12:53--> 01:12:56

I'm gonna agree with him. So, it is

01:12:56--> 01:12:58

worth it. So he you answered the question,

01:12:58--> 01:13:00

I just trust someone. The answer is yes.

01:13:01--> 01:13:03

Woah. Woah. Woah. That's a that's a different

01:13:03--> 01:13:05

question. Yeah. I'm I'm gonna say yes.

01:13:06--> 01:13:09

You're paying for, the Agile brother

01:13:09--> 01:13:11

slash sister, whoever you are, AKF.

01:13:12--> 01:13:14

What do you think AKF is?

01:13:18--> 01:13:19

Abdul Karhard Farooq.

01:13:21--> 01:13:22

Don't know if that is. I just made

01:13:22--> 01:13:23

that name up.

01:13:25--> 01:13:25

Right.

01:13:26--> 01:13:27

Sounds pious.

01:13:27--> 01:13:29

Well, I'm sure I'm sure he's a pious

01:13:29--> 01:13:30

brother.

01:13:32--> 01:13:33

Well, did you know? Okay. We hear a

01:13:33--> 01:13:35

100 100 live views, apparently, according to the

01:13:35--> 01:13:37

software. Oh, nice.

01:13:37--> 01:13:39

So I have a question for you. Do

01:13:39--> 01:13:40

you know what Very, very quiet.

01:13:41--> 01:13:43

So I do know what shadow banning is?

01:13:43--> 01:13:46

Yes. I've been shadow banned many times.

01:13:47--> 01:13:48

What is what shadow banning?

01:13:49--> 01:13:51

So shadow banning, we we have this, we've

01:13:51--> 01:13:52

had this a lot. You know, you maybe

01:13:52--> 01:13:53

you're getting a few 100,000

01:13:54--> 01:13:55

views on

01:13:55--> 01:13:58

something, usually on platforms that are algorithmically controlled,

01:13:58--> 01:13:59

Facebook,

01:13:59--> 01:14:00

Twitter,

01:14:01--> 01:14:01

Instagram,

01:14:03--> 01:14:04

TikTok, YouTube.

01:14:04--> 01:14:06

And all of a sudden you get, like,

01:14:06--> 01:14:08

just a few handful of, kind of views

01:14:08--> 01:14:10

and stuff like that in engagement,

01:14:10--> 01:14:12

Mostly on unfortunately on meta.

01:14:13--> 01:14:15

Instagram is not as bad, but Facebook is

01:14:15--> 01:14:18

very, very bad for this. We noticed, you

01:14:18--> 01:14:18

know,

01:14:19--> 01:14:21

put a picture of the camera up on

01:14:21--> 01:14:23

some of our channels, you get a 100000

01:14:23--> 01:14:26

views or whatever. You put something about Palestine

01:14:27--> 01:14:27

and it's

01:14:29--> 01:14:29

you know?

01:14:30--> 01:14:33

So, yeah, that's, that's that's one of the

01:14:33--> 01:14:36

reasons why we focus much more on,

01:14:36--> 01:14:38

we we, obviously, we we still put stuff

01:14:38--> 01:14:40

out on those platforms.

01:14:40--> 01:14:41

But we focused,

01:14:43--> 01:14:44

I would say primarily

01:14:44--> 01:14:47

long term focus is on our own platform.

01:14:49--> 01:14:51

One of the, in one of the podcasts

01:14:51--> 01:14:53

we did on brother, a YouTube, a mama

01:14:53--> 01:14:55

Hijab YouTuber. He said,

01:14:57--> 01:14:57

he said

01:14:58--> 01:14:59

they turned, they closed down

01:15:00--> 01:15:02

Russia today, RT

01:15:02--> 01:15:05

RT, the new channel. So that's that belongs

01:15:05--> 01:15:07

to a country. That's like a huge, you

01:15:07--> 01:15:08

know, thing. And they could just switch it

01:15:08--> 01:15:11

off after the Ukraine war began or something.

01:15:12--> 01:15:14

So no one else has got a chance

01:15:14--> 01:15:15

in terms of, you know,

01:15:17--> 01:15:19

having freedom to play,

01:15:19--> 01:15:21

to not play. Let me having free freedom

01:15:21--> 01:15:23

to say whatever they want. So that's why

01:15:23--> 01:15:24

our own platform, soundtrissy.com,

01:15:25--> 01:15:28

make sure you're there. Obviously, our mailing list,

01:15:28--> 01:15:30

so forth, we have, you know, as a

01:15:30--> 01:15:30

dedicated

01:15:31--> 01:15:31

views

01:15:32--> 01:15:34

the dedicated content on our mailing list.

01:15:36--> 01:15:38

That's very important for us too, and we're

01:15:38--> 01:15:39

building an app as well to have direct,

01:15:39--> 01:15:41

you know, contact with our audience.

01:15:41--> 01:15:42

And,

01:15:42--> 01:15:44

got a call coming in before I've got

01:15:44--> 01:15:45

a I've got a juicy,

01:15:47--> 01:15:49

something to say at the end of the

01:15:49--> 01:15:51

after the call, but guess who it is?

01:15:51--> 01:15:53

Could it be our beloved Sheikh?

01:15:53--> 01:15:54

Hello.

01:15:57--> 01:15:58

Assalamu alaikum.

01:16:00--> 01:16:01

Sorry.

01:16:02--> 01:16:04

I can't hear anyone. Can you hear me?

01:16:05--> 01:16:06

Now I can hear you.

01:16:16--> 01:16:17

I had no choice but to call.

01:16:20--> 01:16:22

You can hear. Right? We did this test

01:16:22--> 01:16:23

before. Yeah. Yeah.

01:16:24--> 01:16:25

Can you hear, Asan?

01:16:26--> 01:16:30

I, unfortunately, I can't, hear Tarik. Why? Oh,

01:16:30--> 01:16:32

it's such a big loss. I'm so sorry.

01:16:32--> 01:16:34

I'm so sorry for him. Such a major

01:16:34--> 01:16:35

loss.

01:16:36--> 01:16:37

Did you hear that?

01:16:38--> 01:16:40

Yeah. Yeah. So I think sorry. We were

01:16:40--> 01:16:42

kind of praising you or something, but, still

01:16:42--> 01:16:43

I could look at that.

01:16:44--> 01:16:45

Praising my own voice, actually.

01:16:46--> 01:16:47

May Allah bless you as well,

01:16:48--> 01:16:49

So, Asumai,

01:16:50--> 01:16:52

you you're interested in hearing this Nade Takbeard.

01:16:52--> 01:16:53

Is that why you've called in?

01:16:58--> 01:17:01

Not really. But but that's not a Takbir

01:17:01--> 01:17:03

is is quite funny, though. So it just

01:17:03--> 01:17:05

fire spices up the whole thing.

01:17:08--> 01:17:10

Do you sorry. I think you can hear

01:17:10--> 01:17:12

Tariq now. So, Tarek, go ahead. Do you

01:17:12--> 01:17:13

have any I understand. Do you have any

01:17:13--> 01:17:16

questions as well? Actually Tarek Wayer actually had,

01:17:16--> 01:17:17

had a question as to, you know, why

01:17:17--> 01:17:19

I've sort of, joined twice.

01:17:20--> 01:17:21

So that was the question that was posed

01:17:21--> 01:17:23

to me, while I was listening to you.

01:17:24--> 01:17:24

Yeah.

01:17:26--> 01:17:28

So, probably, the only reason is, basically, I

01:17:28--> 01:17:30

think if, if you know the people who

01:17:30--> 01:17:33

are doing anything which is, on the face

01:17:33--> 01:17:35

of it, good, and it's being done with

01:17:35--> 01:17:37

the class, from your perspective, then we should

01:17:37--> 01:17:41

support it. Simple as that. Alhamdulillah lives, I've

01:17:41--> 01:17:42

known, the people who are running at sound

01:17:42--> 01:17:45

21 c for, for over a decade.

01:17:45--> 01:17:47

And I'll I'll never get a chance to

01:17:47--> 01:17:48

support them and try and do that. And

01:17:48--> 01:17:49

I think just

01:17:50--> 01:17:52

donation is just one thing. But the fact

01:17:52--> 01:17:54

you dial in and you be there and,

01:17:54--> 01:17:56

parts within some way, direct or indirect, I

01:17:56--> 01:17:58

think they all have. So that's why I've

01:17:58--> 01:17:59

been, sort of parts within.

01:18:00--> 01:18:00

Very,

01:18:01--> 01:18:02

appreciate a lot.

01:18:03--> 01:18:04

Can I mention,

01:18:04--> 01:18:06

that you're also one of our,

01:18:08--> 01:18:08

writers?

01:18:11--> 01:18:13

Should I not mention that?

01:18:13--> 01:18:16

Yeah. Yeah. Entirely up to you, but I

01:18:16--> 01:18:17

haven't I haven't been writing for some time,

01:18:17--> 01:18:19

so I don't know. No. No. He's one

01:18:19--> 01:18:20

of our

01:18:20--> 01:18:22

beloved, contributors and writers,

01:18:24--> 01:18:27

writing on I won't mention, exactly what just

01:18:27--> 01:18:29

in case I'll get you in trouble, but

01:18:30--> 01:18:32

is a very, very,

01:18:33--> 01:18:35

a talented writer, and and he brings a

01:18:35--> 01:18:36

lot of,

01:18:36--> 01:18:37

benefit

01:18:37--> 01:18:39

for brothers and sisters to read on his

01:18:39--> 01:18:40

area of expertise.

01:18:42--> 01:18:43

We appreciate your help.

01:18:45--> 01:18:46

Thank you very much. Okay.

01:18:47--> 01:18:47

So

01:18:48--> 01:18:50

Do you have anything to say to the

01:18:50--> 01:18:52

brothers and sisters listening? It says telling us

01:18:52--> 01:18:54

there's a 102 people listening.

01:18:55--> 01:18:57

So Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if that's,

01:18:57--> 01:18:59

how accurate it is. Yeah. All all that

01:18:59--> 01:19:01

I can say really is, basically, I'm in

01:19:01--> 01:19:02

I'm in no position to say this, but

01:19:02--> 01:19:04

still since you're asking me to, which is

01:19:04--> 01:19:06

basically what Tarikai was saying initially. I mean,

01:19:06--> 01:19:08

it is so I also sort of fully

01:19:08--> 01:19:10

understand how difficult it is for these,

01:19:11--> 01:19:11

institutions,

01:19:12--> 01:19:14

which are not directly linked with feeding the

01:19:14--> 01:19:17

poor or or the oppressed. How difficult it

01:19:17--> 01:19:19

is for them to raise funding.

01:19:20--> 01:19:22

It's it's a huge challenge. And I think

01:19:22--> 01:19:23

we all need to understand this,

01:19:24--> 01:19:24

That there's,

01:19:25--> 01:19:27

there's going to be, there's a lag between

01:19:27--> 01:19:29

what we donate and how it's going to

01:19:29--> 01:19:30

come out in terms of its roots. But

01:19:30--> 01:19:33

there is a direct connection there between what

01:19:33--> 01:19:34

we're doing and the hair that will it

01:19:34--> 01:19:36

will that it will eventually,

01:19:36--> 01:19:37

bring.

01:19:38--> 01:19:39

We all need to understand this, and, hopefully,

01:19:39--> 01:19:41

I understand that too much better.

01:19:42--> 01:19:43

Allow me. I would like to do a

01:19:43--> 01:19:45

lot more, but, that's all I could do

01:19:45--> 01:19:47

right now. I mean I mean I mean,

01:19:49--> 01:19:51

in your time, and your wealth, and your

01:19:51--> 01:19:52

health, your family,

01:19:53--> 01:19:55

and all the brothers and sisters listening as

01:19:55--> 01:19:55

well.

01:19:58--> 01:20:01

I'm gonna let you go now. Thank you.

01:20:01--> 01:20:02

We pressurize you enough.

01:20:04--> 01:20:05

Alright. Thank you.

01:20:07--> 01:20:07

I

01:20:08--> 01:20:09

wonder if,

01:20:09--> 01:20:12

I wonder if Ahmed Tama is still listening.

01:20:13--> 01:20:14

I feel like

01:20:14--> 01:20:15

a

01:20:15--> 01:20:17

we're going getting another call.

01:20:25--> 01:20:25

Hello?

01:20:28--> 01:20:29

It says connecting.

01:20:32--> 01:20:34

This one is coming via WhatsApp Business,

01:20:35--> 01:20:37

which I downloaded just the other day.

01:20:38--> 01:20:40

Let's give the business a shout out, shall

01:20:40--> 01:20:40

we?

01:20:43--> 01:20:45

There you go. Honey, if try and call

01:20:45--> 01:20:46

in again.

01:20:47--> 01:20:48

I've got the app open now. I think

01:20:48--> 01:20:50

I have to open the app or something.

01:20:52--> 01:20:53

Excuse me.

01:20:53--> 01:20:54

So, yeah, I was

01:20:55--> 01:20:56

oh, Masha'Allah.

01:20:58--> 01:20:59

A pleasant surprise.

01:21:02--> 01:21:04

Assalamu alaikum. Can you hear me?

01:21:06--> 01:21:07

Loud and clear.

01:21:07--> 01:21:09

Allah bless you. How are you brothers?

01:21:10--> 01:21:10

Alhamdulillah.

01:21:12--> 01:21:13

How's your evening been?

01:21:14--> 01:21:16

Allah's most kind. Allah's most kind. Subhanallah.

01:21:19--> 01:21:21

Allah is most kind. May if it's

01:21:21--> 01:21:23

may Allah assist us in,

01:21:24--> 01:21:25

in having caught the night in Arab.

01:21:27--> 01:21:29

How you guys been? Sheikh Sajid

01:21:29--> 01:21:31

He was doing he was in Tarawee. He

01:21:31--> 01:21:33

was giving lectures, and he's just kinda rushing

01:21:33--> 01:21:35

around from appointment to appointment.

01:21:36--> 01:21:38

I literally I literally just got out. We

01:21:38--> 01:21:40

finished at 12:30

01:21:41--> 01:21:42

ish, 12:35 ish.

01:21:43--> 01:21:43

No.

01:21:43--> 01:21:47

And, then I saw, masha'Allah, a bunch of

01:21:47--> 01:21:48

calls and, obviously,

01:21:49--> 01:21:52

I thought, subhanAllah, what's going on? And, alhamdulillah.

01:21:52--> 01:21:53

You guys are still live and I made

01:21:53--> 01:21:54

it.

01:21:57--> 01:21:58

How are you doing, Tarek?

01:21:58--> 01:22:01

Nice to meet you. It's my pleasure, Sheikh.

01:22:01--> 01:22:02

It's been a while, but, we

01:22:03--> 01:22:05

saw each other so much in December and

01:22:05--> 01:22:07

I think January. So We did. We did.

01:22:07--> 01:22:08

We did. Indeed. I hope you guys can

01:22:08--> 01:22:11

see me clearly. I'm makeshift because I'm I'm

01:22:11--> 01:22:12

not, I'd like

01:22:12--> 01:22:14

like I said to Tariq, I am

01:22:15--> 01:22:17

joining this on the fly as they say.

01:22:18--> 01:22:21

Yeah. You're getting the real authentic Sheikh Sheikh

01:22:21--> 01:22:22

Sajid experience.

01:22:23--> 01:22:26

No studio. No special fancy lights.

01:22:26--> 01:22:29

No front lights. No, Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

01:22:29--> 01:22:30

Yeah. I mean, that's that's

01:22:30--> 01:22:32

I don't have a setup like you, doctor

01:22:32--> 01:22:33

Salman, but

01:22:35--> 01:22:36

I I was I was telling the the

01:22:36--> 01:22:38

team before we started, we should all have

01:22:38--> 01:22:39

been sent a different color

01:22:40--> 01:22:42

background strobe light. Right? Shit. I could have

01:22:42--> 01:22:43

had like a violet one, you could have

01:22:43--> 01:22:45

had a amber one, would have been like

01:22:45--> 01:22:47

We're very strict on our new branding, bro.

01:22:47--> 01:22:50

This is a very strict hue, a 170

01:22:50--> 01:22:53

degrees, this this green, and also another another

01:22:53--> 01:22:55

color. So we have a strict color palette,

01:22:55--> 01:22:57

but, yeah, we could, we could do that.

01:22:57--> 01:22:59

Can you get some flashing lights for us,

01:22:59--> 01:23:01

someone make it feel a bit more festive

01:23:01--> 01:23:01

tonight?

01:23:02--> 01:23:04

You know what? If somebody done it,

01:23:06--> 01:23:08

we'll get the back,

01:23:09--> 01:23:11

and we can get a a lights into

01:23:11--> 01:23:11

Tarek's house for

01:23:12--> 01:23:15

Chef Chef, firstly, before he starts talking about

01:23:16--> 01:23:18

we have a dilemma on our situation. Before

01:23:18--> 01:23:20

we get to the real important stuff, we

01:23:20--> 01:23:22

need you to clarify an issue for us.

01:23:22--> 01:23:25

Right? So we we'll be looking for more

01:23:25--> 01:23:26

sound effects.

01:23:26--> 01:23:28

We found 2 new sound effects,

01:23:29--> 01:23:29

and

01:23:29--> 01:23:31

we're trying to get decide with the viewers

01:23:31--> 01:23:33

watching in between ourselves,

01:23:33--> 01:23:34

which is

01:23:35--> 01:23:37

which is a more praiseworthy one. Okay?

01:23:37--> 01:23:40

So so I chose 1. Samant chose 1.

01:23:40--> 01:23:42

So Samant chose 1 for chef, we'll let

01:23:42--> 01:23:43

sheikh Hamid listen.

01:23:44--> 01:23:45

Actually, we had a deal with Ahmed Tumal

01:23:45--> 01:23:48

that we can't play it. No. But, brother

01:23:48--> 01:23:50

Ascent called up. He made a donation, I

01:23:50--> 01:23:52

think. I think that was before Ascent,

01:23:53--> 01:23:53

Ahmed's,

01:23:55--> 01:23:57

can we okay. Can this can be like

01:23:57--> 01:23:59

has for you. Okay. Okay.

01:24:00--> 01:24:01

Well, this is a problem. We're gonna have

01:24:01--> 01:24:02

to get someone has to donate a £100

01:24:02--> 01:24:04

now. Otherwise, chef will never be able to

01:24:04--> 01:24:05

answer this question.

01:24:06--> 01:24:08

The will not have the knowledge they need

01:24:08--> 01:24:08

to pursue

01:24:09--> 01:24:10

pursue their life goals.

01:24:11--> 01:24:13

So brothers and sisters watching, if you just

01:24:13--> 01:24:16

joined in, sislam 21 c, we're live with

01:24:16--> 01:24:16

you,

01:24:17--> 01:24:19

and we are here to support the cause

01:24:21--> 01:24:24

of protecting the Muslim identity. Islam 21 c

01:24:24--> 01:24:26

is there fighting the battles. It's fighting the

01:24:26--> 01:24:28

digital war. It's fighting the digital war

01:24:29--> 01:24:29

that is

01:24:30--> 01:24:30

challenging

01:24:31--> 01:24:33

the narratives that are trying to break down

01:24:33--> 01:24:35

the family unit. They're trying to break down

01:24:35--> 01:24:38

the Muslim identity. We're challenging secularism, liberalism,

01:24:39--> 01:24:40

LGBT movement, transgenderism.

01:24:41--> 01:24:43

We're trying to empower people to come closer

01:24:43--> 01:24:45

to Allah, to find more spirituality,

01:24:45--> 01:24:46

to understand how

01:24:47--> 01:24:48

to navigate the trials and tribulations

01:24:49--> 01:24:50

of

01:24:50--> 01:24:52

the world and all the problems that it

01:24:52--> 01:24:54

presents us in a 21st century context of

01:24:54--> 01:24:57

Islam. So you can support this project tonight

01:24:57--> 01:24:58

Go to Islam 21c.com

01:25:00--> 01:25:02

forward slash live. You can call us in

01:25:02--> 01:25:03

the studio on 077-694-3414.

01:25:06--> 01:25:08

Or if you'd like to donate on,

01:25:08--> 01:25:10

via phone, right, maybe a bit alone, you

01:25:10--> 01:25:12

wanna call up, have a chat with someone

01:25:13--> 01:25:15

in zero two zero three eight eight zero

01:25:15--> 01:25:17

two nine eight one. But we've got a

01:25:17--> 01:25:18

dilemma, my brothers and sisters.

01:25:19--> 01:25:20

We're trying to get to £5,000.

01:25:21--> 01:25:22

We've surpassed the £1,000

01:25:23--> 01:25:25

mark. We'll get an update very soon exactly

01:25:25--> 01:25:26

how much over.

01:25:26--> 01:25:28

But we had Ahmed Tomar who called in

01:25:28--> 01:25:31

and said I will pay or invest and

01:25:31--> 01:25:33

donate £50 if you do not do this

01:25:33--> 01:25:34

sound effect.

01:25:34--> 01:25:36

Okay? Oh, hold on. Hold on. We've got

01:25:36--> 01:25:37

an update

01:25:37--> 01:25:38

here. Right?

01:25:38--> 01:25:41

The the How many is that move? So

01:25:41--> 01:25:43

Ahmed said, you'll give £50 if we don't

01:25:43--> 01:25:45

play the Naretak beard. Okay?

01:25:47--> 01:25:48

But then but then we can only play

01:25:48--> 01:25:50

the Naretak beard after that if we get

01:25:50--> 01:25:51

a £100

01:25:52--> 01:25:52

donation.

01:25:53--> 01:25:54

But now the Sheikh is here to answer

01:25:54--> 01:25:55

this

01:25:55--> 01:25:59

this fitna we're having. Right? Which sound effect

01:25:59--> 01:26:00

should take more priority.

01:26:00--> 01:26:03

So we've been given permission by the donor,

01:26:03--> 01:26:03

Ahmed.

01:26:04--> 01:26:06

So let's find out now. Saman, which we

01:26:06--> 01:26:07

which should we start with?

01:26:08--> 01:26:09

Up to

01:26:09--> 01:26:10

you.

01:26:11--> 01:26:13

I can see I can see he has

01:26:13--> 01:26:14

his hand on the button. His hands on

01:26:14--> 01:26:16

the pulse. Which would you like? On the

01:26:16--> 01:26:19

pulse. I'll tell you what, Asimhan, wherever your

01:26:19--> 01:26:20

finger is, go for that one.

01:26:21--> 01:26:22

Alright. That that was the wrong one.

01:26:25--> 01:26:25

Wait a minute.

01:26:26--> 01:26:28

I've forgotten, actually.

01:26:44--> 01:26:46

Here's my one. Here's my one.

01:26:50--> 01:26:51

Is that your one?

01:26:51--> 01:26:53

It's not me. It's not me, but it's

01:26:53--> 01:26:54

the one I chose.

01:26:55--> 01:26:56

Yeah. Yeah. I think, you know yeah. I

01:26:56--> 01:26:57

mean, firstly,

01:26:58--> 01:26:58

Salman,

01:26:59--> 01:27:02

May Allah forgive you for polluting my, my

01:27:02--> 01:27:04

beautiful 23rd night. SubhanAllah.

01:27:04--> 01:27:05

I would this,

01:27:06--> 01:27:08

but alhamdulillah, good comeback with the second,

01:27:10--> 01:27:10

masha'Allah,

01:27:13--> 01:27:15

that we had. I I'm I'm with Tariq

01:27:15--> 01:27:15

on this one.

01:27:16--> 01:27:17

Okay. Time for AK,

01:27:18--> 01:27:19

f to put his money where his mouth

01:27:19--> 01:27:21

is. You heard it now. You got the

01:27:21--> 01:27:23

permission from, Tariq.

01:27:23--> 01:27:25

If we get a £100, then, you know,

01:27:25--> 01:27:27

it's back on the table. But before that,

01:27:27--> 01:27:30

let's not, let's not get carried away too

01:27:30--> 01:27:31

much.

01:27:32--> 01:27:35

We want to get some, obviously, some gems

01:27:35--> 01:27:36

from the the sheikh.

01:27:37--> 01:27:39

You know, we we're gonna be talking about,

01:27:40--> 01:27:41

truth versus deception.

01:27:42--> 01:27:43

But, oh,

01:27:44--> 01:27:47

Nahid, masha'Allah, has donated another £100. Already gave

01:27:47--> 01:27:49

50, now a 100, masha'Allah. You gave 500.

01:27:50--> 01:27:51

God bless. I love that.

01:27:55--> 01:27:55

Masha'Allah. Allah bless him.

01:27:56--> 01:27:58

Sheikh coming, the smile, lighting up the room.

01:27:59--> 01:28:01

Allah bless him on this blessed night.

01:28:03--> 01:28:05

Allah bless you on this blessed night, Yarov.

01:28:05--> 01:28:07

I mean I mean I mean I'll accept

01:28:07--> 01:28:08

all these donations from everybody.

01:28:09--> 01:28:10

You I mean I mean,

01:28:11--> 01:28:12

Jeff, while we while we're here, while we

01:28:12--> 01:28:14

have you, we wanna make use of your

01:28:14--> 01:28:16

time. We wanna take benefit from you,

01:28:17--> 01:28:19

and we want to offer,

01:28:19--> 01:28:21

some insights for our viewers

01:28:22--> 01:28:23

on the importance

01:28:23--> 01:28:25

of the work that Islam 21 c is

01:28:25--> 01:28:26

doing.

01:28:26--> 01:28:28

Can you help us to understand, Sheikh? Maybe

01:28:29--> 01:28:30

give us a little,

01:28:31--> 01:28:33

some knowledge. Maybe we can discuss it a

01:28:33--> 01:28:35

little bit. We can ask some questions. But

01:28:35--> 01:28:37

we wanna understand what is the importance

01:28:38--> 01:28:40

of countering misinformation. And the world is so

01:28:40--> 01:28:43

prevalent with it these days. But why is

01:28:43--> 01:28:45

it so important to to challenge these narratives,

01:28:45--> 01:28:49

to offer counter narrative against all the propaganda

01:28:49--> 01:28:51

that's taking place in a world that really

01:28:52--> 01:28:53

it's hard to know what's really true and

01:28:53--> 01:28:54

what's falsehood?

01:28:55--> 01:28:58

Well, it's important because it's a duty. That's

01:28:58--> 01:29:00

just a reality. It's a duty upon us.

01:29:00--> 01:29:02

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,

01:29:03--> 01:29:06

has placed upon our collective shoulders

01:29:07--> 01:29:08

the work of the

01:29:09--> 01:29:11

the prophets and messengers would be doing this.

01:29:11--> 01:29:13

That's exactly what they came to do. They

01:29:13--> 01:29:14

came to counter false narratives.

01:29:15--> 01:29:16

They came to

01:29:18--> 01:29:20

stand as adversaries against falsehood, and they were

01:29:20--> 01:29:21

advocates

01:29:22--> 01:29:24

for everything that was righteousness

01:29:24--> 01:29:25

and and and,

01:29:26--> 01:29:27

part of justice,

01:29:27--> 01:29:28

and,

01:29:29--> 01:29:30

they stood with the truth.

01:29:31--> 01:29:34

In in in a world where no messengers

01:29:34--> 01:29:35

to come,

01:29:37--> 01:29:38

the Ummah of Muhammad

01:29:39--> 01:29:40

assumes that role.

01:29:41--> 01:29:43

Rasallat said, We're the best of all nations.

01:29:43--> 01:29:44

We're the best of all nations for a

01:29:44--> 01:29:45

reason.

01:29:46--> 01:29:47

They're not just the best of all nations

01:29:47--> 01:29:49

as an honorific, It's not just a title

01:29:49--> 01:29:51

void of responsibility. Right?

01:29:52--> 01:29:54

So it's important. The work of Islam 21

01:29:54--> 01:29:56

c is important because

01:29:56--> 01:29:58

it's actually taking care

01:29:58--> 01:29:59

of

01:29:59--> 01:30:00

a responsibility.

01:30:02--> 01:30:03

You could even say an obligation,

01:30:03--> 01:30:04

really.

01:30:04--> 01:30:06

And, for those who can't

01:30:07--> 01:30:08

stand against

01:30:08--> 01:30:11

or can't be an adversary against certain forms

01:30:11--> 01:30:12

of,

01:30:13--> 01:30:13

misguidance,

01:30:14--> 01:30:15

then they should support,

01:30:16--> 01:30:17

institutions,

01:30:18--> 01:30:18

that are.

01:30:19--> 01:30:21

The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said that

01:30:23--> 01:30:23

the one who,

01:30:24--> 01:30:25

armors and

01:30:25--> 01:30:26

funds

01:30:26--> 01:30:28

the soldier, then he also is in the

01:30:28--> 01:30:29

path of Allah even though he might not

01:30:29--> 01:30:32

go out in the path of Allah. So,

01:30:32--> 01:30:33

if we have

01:30:34--> 01:30:36

institutions on the front lines, and Islam 21

01:30:36--> 01:30:37

c is one of them,

01:30:38--> 01:30:41

that is standing for the truth and supporting

01:30:41--> 01:30:42

the truth

01:30:43--> 01:30:43

being

01:30:44--> 01:30:46

an adversary against,

01:30:47--> 01:30:48

the false

01:30:48--> 01:30:49

narratives,

01:30:50--> 01:30:52

then it should be supported.

01:30:52--> 01:30:54

It should be supported. And in our support

01:30:54--> 01:30:56

of the program, will we take care of

01:30:56--> 01:30:59

the responsibility that's on our shoulders? Because Allah

01:30:59--> 01:31:00

will ask us as well. We will be

01:31:00--> 01:31:02

asked what did we do.

01:31:02--> 01:31:03

So, but, Alhamdulillah,

01:31:04--> 01:31:05

Allah is merciful.

01:31:06--> 01:31:07

Islam is merciful.

01:31:07--> 01:31:09

Islam didn't tell us that, you know, you

01:31:09--> 01:31:11

have to do this, but it can only

01:31:11--> 01:31:14

happen this way. Islam told us that it

01:31:14--> 01:31:15

can happen in a manner that is,

01:31:17--> 01:31:18

conducive to your circumstance.

01:31:19--> 01:31:21

So if you can't do it yourself, support

01:31:21--> 01:31:22

someone who can.

01:31:23--> 01:31:25

And and and you will get the reward.

01:31:25--> 01:31:26

They will get the rewards, and you will

01:31:26--> 01:31:28

get the rewards because we are an Ummah

01:31:28--> 01:31:31

of Ata'awun alalbiriwat taqwah. So Allah has set

01:31:31--> 01:31:32

us as interdependent

01:31:33--> 01:31:33

beings.

01:31:34--> 01:31:36

That is by design. That's a universal principle.

01:31:37--> 01:31:38

We are interdependent

01:31:38--> 01:31:40

by design. And Allah,

01:31:41--> 01:31:42

sets a principle

01:31:43--> 01:31:44

that we can,

01:31:45--> 01:31:45

truly

01:31:46--> 01:31:46

experience,

01:31:47--> 01:31:49

each other's potential if we leverage off each

01:31:49--> 01:31:52

other's strengths. And that is the idea of

01:31:52--> 01:31:53

tawen, that we cooperate

01:31:54--> 01:31:55

upon,

01:31:55--> 01:31:57

that which is righteous and that which is

01:31:57--> 01:31:59

beloved to Allah So,

01:32:00--> 01:32:02

you know, a lot of the narratives require

01:32:02--> 01:32:04

a level of study, a level of reading,

01:32:04--> 01:32:05

a level of thought.

01:32:05--> 01:32:07

Not all of us have time to,

01:32:08--> 01:32:09

engage academia.

01:32:10--> 01:32:11

But, alhamdulillah, if you have an institution that's

01:32:11--> 01:32:13

dedicated to it, then all that's left is

01:32:13--> 01:32:16

for us to support it with and support

01:32:16--> 01:32:17

doesn't just mean funding.

01:32:17--> 01:32:19

Support it with dua.

01:32:19--> 01:32:20

Support it with,

01:32:20--> 01:32:22

dua is one of the most strongest forms

01:32:22--> 01:32:23

of support

01:32:23--> 01:32:25

that we can give to our institutions.

01:32:26--> 01:32:27

Du'a,

01:32:27--> 01:32:28

and then also,

01:32:29--> 01:32:31

supporting it with expertise

01:32:31--> 01:32:33

that you might not be able to

01:32:34--> 01:32:36

assist the institution,

01:32:37--> 01:32:39

in terms of the frontline operation.

01:32:40--> 01:32:42

But the back end operation, you have expertise.

01:32:42--> 01:32:45

It could be user interface expertise. It could

01:32:45--> 01:32:46

be

01:32:46--> 01:32:48

tech expertise. It could be,

01:32:48--> 01:32:49

anything

01:32:49--> 01:32:51

that you, you know, legal

01:32:52--> 01:32:52

support,

01:32:54--> 01:32:55

and then, you know,

01:32:56--> 01:32:59

financial support, no doubt, because we live in

01:32:59--> 01:33:00

a world that,

01:33:01--> 01:33:02

has wealth

01:33:02--> 01:33:04

as a form of oxygen in terms of

01:33:04--> 01:33:04

driving,

01:33:05--> 01:33:07

institutions. It's just a necessary requirement.

01:33:08--> 01:33:10

It's not that these institutions are set up

01:33:10--> 01:33:12

for the sake of gathering funds,

01:33:12--> 01:33:14

but it's just a matter of necessity.

01:33:14--> 01:33:15

That's it. So,

01:33:16--> 01:33:19

and, you know, these organizations are not asking

01:33:19--> 01:33:20

for themselves.

01:33:21--> 01:33:23

They are and they're not asking you for

01:33:23--> 01:33:25

them. They're asking you for you. This is

01:33:25--> 01:33:26

the reality,

01:33:26--> 01:33:27

brothers and sisters in Islam.

01:33:28--> 01:33:29

Sometimes,

01:33:30--> 01:33:31

you know, people who are in the fundraising

01:33:31--> 01:33:32

space, they do,

01:33:33--> 01:33:34

speak to me and say, Sheikh, it's tough.

01:33:34--> 01:33:37

You know, you're constantly asking, asking, asking. The

01:33:37--> 01:33:38

causes are many.

01:33:39--> 01:33:42

Financial difficulty is in play. And, you know,

01:33:42--> 01:33:44

donor fatigue is actually a thing that's being,

01:33:45--> 01:33:47

discussed. And I say to my brothers, I

01:33:47--> 01:33:48

said, listen, guys.

01:33:48--> 01:33:50

You're asking for them. You're not asking for

01:33:50--> 01:33:51

you. You're asking

01:33:52--> 01:33:54

for them and for the sake of Allah.

01:33:54--> 01:33:57

Never ever ever be shy to ask this

01:33:57--> 01:33:57

way.

01:33:58--> 01:34:00

You know, asking for yourself is something that

01:34:00--> 01:34:02

should make you shy. But asking for Allah,

01:34:03--> 01:34:06

for a means that benefits the person who,

01:34:06--> 01:34:06

you

01:34:08--> 01:34:10

know, who is the hand that gives. Never

01:34:10--> 01:34:11

feel shy about that because at the end

01:34:11--> 01:34:12

of the day,

01:34:17--> 01:34:18

The one who is guided,

01:34:19--> 01:34:21

then they are guided in the in in

01:34:21--> 01:34:22

in the manner

01:34:22--> 01:34:24

of only benefiting themselves. It's it's not that,

01:34:24--> 01:34:26

you know, Allah needs them to be guided

01:34:26--> 01:34:28

for Allah's majesty to be great. Allah is

01:34:28--> 01:34:30

perfect from ever, and he's perfect forever.

01:34:30--> 01:34:31

And,

01:34:33--> 01:34:34

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,

01:34:35--> 01:34:38

you know, he's he's he has complete sovereignty,

01:34:39--> 01:34:40

over his decree

01:34:40--> 01:34:43

and, his way. It is us really who

01:34:43--> 01:34:44

are.

01:34:45--> 01:34:48

We are impoverished in need of the forgiveness

01:34:48--> 01:34:50

of our Lord, and it's only us putting

01:34:50--> 01:34:52

up our hand and saying, you Allah choose

01:34:52--> 01:34:53

us to be a means

01:34:54--> 01:34:55

for your decree

01:34:56--> 01:34:59

that is under your complete sovereignty that will

01:34:59--> 01:35:02

be in its being. Use us as a

01:35:02--> 01:35:04

means so that we are honored, really,

01:35:04--> 01:35:06

to be part and parcel of the process.

01:35:06--> 01:35:08

So this is this is the reality, brothers

01:35:08--> 01:35:11

and sisters in Islam. Why is the is

01:35:11--> 01:35:13

the work of Islam 21 c important? I

01:35:13--> 01:35:14

think I've highlighted that and why we should

01:35:14--> 01:35:16

be a part of it. Then from the

01:35:16--> 01:35:18

perspective of the work, I've shared,

01:35:19--> 01:35:21

some ideas and also from the perspective of

01:35:21--> 01:35:21

ourselves,

01:35:22--> 01:35:23

from the perspective,

01:35:24--> 01:35:25

of ourselves. So,

01:35:26--> 01:35:29

yes, everyone who donated, I I echo, what,

01:35:29--> 01:35:31

doctor Salman and and Barik, you know, what

01:35:31--> 01:35:34

they were saying. Allah except from everyone who,

01:35:35--> 01:35:36

traded with Allah

01:35:36--> 01:35:39

this evening, And I don't doubt that Allah

01:35:39--> 01:35:41

will invest your your

01:35:41--> 01:35:42

your trade 7000%,

01:35:43--> 01:35:45

then you will see the returns. You will

01:35:45--> 01:35:46

see the returns, alhamdulillah.

01:35:47--> 01:35:50

SubhanAllah SubhanAllah. Shaikhina, when you when when we

01:35:50--> 01:35:51

when we put this,

01:35:52--> 01:35:53

the plan together for these streams and and

01:35:53--> 01:35:55

this topic in particular as well,

01:35:57--> 01:35:59

so the importance of the media, the media

01:35:59--> 01:36:00

battlefield,

01:36:01--> 01:36:02

miss misinformation

01:36:02--> 01:36:04

tackling misinformation and propaganda.

01:36:05--> 01:36:07

I was just thinking even during,

01:36:08--> 01:36:10

you know, I just you you're looking you're

01:36:10--> 01:36:13

listening to those ayaat, and you're you're thinking

01:36:13--> 01:36:14

and you're reflecting over them from a

01:36:15--> 01:36:17

angle, you know, from the perspective of making

01:36:17--> 01:36:19

to the on the notion of the media

01:36:19--> 01:36:22

and and propaganda and truth and falsehood and

01:36:22--> 01:36:24

so forth. It'd be good to just get

01:36:24--> 01:36:26

some reflections from me if you if you

01:36:26--> 01:36:27

came across anything like that. I mean, I

01:36:27--> 01:36:29

don't know. We were discussing before you joined.

01:36:30--> 01:36:32

You know, depending on where you are, how

01:36:32--> 01:36:34

how fast your goes through the must have.

01:36:35--> 01:36:35

Yeah.

01:36:35--> 01:36:37

People are going through

01:36:37--> 01:36:39

around about this time sort of fusilat. We're

01:36:39--> 01:36:41

just referring to the ayah.

01:36:53--> 01:36:54

We're going through the the 24th,

01:36:55--> 01:36:55

Jews.

01:36:56--> 01:36:58

We completed Surah Zumr today, then,

01:36:59--> 01:37:01

we embarked on, Surah Al Khafir, and then

01:37:01--> 01:37:03

Surah Al Fusilat. Surah Al Khafir,

01:37:05--> 01:37:06

is the first of the Hawamim.

01:37:07--> 01:37:08

Hawamim. The,

01:37:08--> 01:37:10

surahs that begin with hamim

01:37:10--> 01:37:12

and the 7 of them.

01:37:12--> 01:37:14

And they are in the order that we

01:37:14--> 01:37:15

have them in the Quran, starting with Surah

01:37:15--> 01:37:16

Gafir.

01:37:16--> 01:37:18

And Abdullah ibn Abbas

01:37:18--> 01:37:21

he he states that these 7 Suras were

01:37:21--> 01:37:22

revealed in order after

01:37:23--> 01:37:23

Surah Zumr.

01:37:24--> 01:37:26

And I was just telling our brothers and

01:37:26--> 01:37:27

sisters today in the Masjid that,

01:37:29--> 01:37:30

you know,

01:37:32--> 01:37:33

being hit

01:37:34--> 01:37:34

with

01:37:41--> 01:37:43

is potent in building Yimat,

01:37:44--> 01:37:46

really. Mhmm. And if you ponder over,

01:37:48--> 01:37:50

that the, you know, the reality of the

01:37:50--> 01:37:52

verses that were recited today in the 24th

01:37:52--> 01:37:54

June, you can actually appreciate that this was

01:37:54--> 01:37:56

at a, you know, at a severe time

01:37:56--> 01:37:59

during the Makkan phase of the prophetic mission.

01:37:59--> 01:38:01

But these ayat are coming over time,

01:38:03--> 01:38:05

and we have 7, the Hawami, Adi, one

01:38:05--> 01:38:07

after the other, all dealing with Makkah narratives,

01:38:07--> 01:38:10

establishing Allah is Allah and his oneness in

01:38:10--> 01:38:12

his lordship, his oneness in his worship, his

01:38:12--> 01:38:14

oneness in his names and attributes,

01:38:14--> 01:38:17

establishing the messenger as the messenger, establishing the

01:38:17--> 01:38:18

Quran as god sent,

01:38:18--> 01:38:20

establishing life after death in the day of

01:38:20--> 01:38:21

Qiyamah.

01:38:22--> 01:38:22

And

01:38:23--> 01:38:24

these are the genres of knowledge that we

01:38:24--> 01:38:25

find in the Meccan verses.

01:38:26--> 01:38:28

So it's all iman building, really.

01:38:29--> 01:38:30

And as the Tarawi was going on, I'm

01:38:30--> 01:38:31

thinking to myself,

01:38:32--> 01:38:34

the Quraysh are listening to these verses coming

01:38:34--> 01:38:34

down.

01:38:35--> 01:38:36

Actually, this predominantly,

01:38:37--> 01:38:37

the

01:38:38--> 01:38:41

the the arrogant disbelievers, the idolators,

01:38:41--> 01:38:44

who are fighting the messenger, sanctioning him, and

01:38:44--> 01:38:47

doing everything to avert people joining him,

01:38:48--> 01:38:50

persecuting those who are with him. They are

01:38:50--> 01:38:52

receiving these verses in a language that they

01:38:52--> 01:38:54

understand upon a level of eloquence that is

01:38:54--> 01:38:55

unmatched.

01:38:56--> 01:38:58

How must it be for them?

01:38:59--> 01:39:01

That surely, deep down, they know that this

01:39:01--> 01:39:03

person is speaking the truth, and it's just

01:39:03--> 01:39:04

utter arrogance

01:39:05--> 01:39:05

and,

01:39:07--> 01:39:10

you know, false affiliation to customs

01:39:10--> 01:39:11

of your forefathers

01:39:12--> 01:39:14

that's causing you to deny

01:39:14--> 01:39:15

a message

01:39:15--> 01:39:17

that even if you didn't have verses worth

01:39:17--> 01:39:19

it, is absolutely rational.

01:39:20--> 01:39:22

And we see these surahs affirming these realities,

01:39:22--> 01:39:24

not only in the narrative context, but also

01:39:24--> 01:39:27

in the form of stories, which is amazing.

01:39:27--> 01:39:29

So this consolidation process happens with the story.

01:39:29--> 01:39:30

I mean, take,

01:39:31--> 01:39:33

Surah Hafiz, for example. Allah chooses

01:39:34--> 01:39:37

again the story of Musa. So we see

01:39:37--> 01:39:38

Musa featuring

01:39:38--> 01:39:41

before Hijra and Musa featuring after Hijra. I

01:39:41--> 01:39:43

mean, Banu Israel is discussed in Surat Al

01:39:43--> 01:39:44

Baqarah, which is revealed

01:39:45--> 01:39:47

for most of the medallion period.

01:39:48--> 01:39:49

But in the Meccan Surahs as well, we

01:39:49--> 01:39:51

see Musa as if the prophet

01:39:52--> 01:39:53

is being taught

01:39:53--> 01:39:55

that the story

01:39:56--> 01:39:57

is

01:39:57--> 01:39:58

really similar

01:39:59--> 01:40:00

or even the same. It's just the actors

01:40:00--> 01:40:01

are different.

01:40:01--> 01:40:03

And what you're going through, if we just

01:40:03--> 01:40:04

rewind back,

01:40:05--> 01:40:07

same situation, but this time there's Musa

01:40:08--> 01:40:09

and there's Biraun.

01:40:09--> 01:40:11

And not just Biraun, but he had Karun

01:40:11--> 01:40:13

and he had Haman. And there was this

01:40:13--> 01:40:14

ridicule taking

01:40:14--> 01:40:17

place. And he Firaun telling Haman,

01:40:17--> 01:40:19

build me a tower so I can go

01:40:19--> 01:40:20

into the heavens. I can enter the pathways

01:40:20--> 01:40:22

towards heaven. Have a look at this deity

01:40:22--> 01:40:23

that,

01:40:23--> 01:40:25

Musa is calling to me. This is absolute

01:40:25--> 01:40:26

ridicule.

01:40:26--> 01:40:27

Absolute ridicule.

01:40:27--> 01:40:28

But also,

01:40:30--> 01:40:32

within the story, scholars of some of the

01:40:32--> 01:40:35

scholars of tafsir have deduced that their own

01:40:35--> 01:40:36

deep down knew

01:40:37--> 01:40:38

that he's preaching

01:40:39--> 01:40:40

a false narrative.

01:40:41--> 01:40:41

Because

01:40:42--> 01:40:42

when

01:40:45--> 01:40:47

his close people in Haman and Qarun are

01:40:47--> 01:40:49

saying, let's kill the people who are with

01:40:49--> 01:40:52

him, and and let's enslave the women.

01:40:52--> 01:40:53

Firaun says,

01:40:54--> 01:40:55

let's kill Musa.

01:40:56--> 01:40:58

Let's kill Musa. He goes a step further.

01:40:58--> 01:41:00

Forget about killing his people, let's kill Musa,

01:41:00--> 01:41:02

because deep down there's something.

01:41:02--> 01:41:03

And,

01:41:04--> 01:41:06

he's being reminded to the Ahazab.

01:41:06--> 01:41:09

The Ahazab, meaning the groups before, the people

01:41:09--> 01:41:11

of 'Ad, and Tamut, and Nuh, and what

01:41:11--> 01:41:12

happened to them. So

01:41:13--> 01:41:15

as you travel through the Mecca and verses,

01:41:15--> 01:41:18

you see it's full of false narratives being

01:41:18--> 01:41:18

propagated.

01:41:19--> 01:41:21

And not only with regards to the message,

01:41:22--> 01:41:23

but also with regards to the messenger, this

01:41:23--> 01:41:24

character assassination,

01:41:25--> 01:41:27

that he's a magician, that he's a sorcerer,

01:41:27--> 01:41:29

that, you know, he's come only to disunite,

01:41:29--> 01:41:31

and so on and so forth. It's it's

01:41:31--> 01:41:34

it's like a constant throughout the Meccan verses.

01:41:35--> 01:41:38

It's this false narrative, and the Quran is

01:41:38--> 01:41:39

at the forefront.

01:41:40--> 01:41:42

Right? It's it's on the front lines,

01:41:43--> 01:41:45

pushing back the false narrative.

01:41:45--> 01:41:48

And in it, subhanAllah, the prophet of Allah

01:41:48--> 01:41:51

is establishing the Messenger and settling his own

01:41:51--> 01:41:54

human nature. Because imagine year after year, month

01:41:54--> 01:41:56

after month, it's a long period of time,

01:41:56--> 01:41:58

you're constantly hearing this narrative against you.

01:41:59--> 01:42:01

Right? It can happen that Shaytan

01:42:02--> 01:42:04

uses it as a tool, and Shaytan's running

01:42:04--> 01:42:06

his attacks as well. A time comes when

01:42:06--> 01:42:08

you sit back and you start doubting, thinking

01:42:08--> 01:42:10

that, SubhanAllah, where am I going with this?

01:42:10--> 01:42:12

Right? And Allah is revealing what happened to

01:42:12--> 01:42:14

Musa and the time that it took, and

01:42:14--> 01:42:17

everything has a plan. And Allah is, all

01:42:17--> 01:42:18

able,

01:42:19--> 01:42:22

upon all able, and everything will be when

01:42:22--> 01:42:24

Allah decrees them to be, and everything has

01:42:24--> 01:42:26

its appointed time. You look at Surat al

01:42:26--> 01:42:28

Zumr, you know, all this is happening, and

01:42:28--> 01:42:29

at the end, Allah

01:42:30--> 01:42:30

says,

01:42:32--> 01:42:33

And now Allah takes us all the way

01:42:33--> 01:42:35

to the day of Qiyamah, and they'll be

01:42:35--> 01:42:37

driven in groups to the hellfire. And when

01:42:37--> 01:42:39

they get there, the gatekeepers will say, but

01:42:39--> 01:42:41

didn't the messengers come to you with the

01:42:41--> 01:42:42

message?

01:42:42--> 01:42:44

Didn't the right narrative come to you?

01:42:45--> 01:42:47

But it'll be too late. They'll say, bala,

01:42:47--> 01:42:48

but it's too late.

01:42:49--> 01:42:50

Right?

01:42:50--> 01:42:51

Because

01:42:52--> 01:42:54

when the right narrative came, you pushed it

01:42:54--> 01:42:55

back with the 4th narrative, or you tried

01:42:55--> 01:42:57

to. You attempted to. That's what you spend

01:42:57--> 01:42:58

your time doing. But as with the people

01:42:58--> 01:42:59

of Jannah,

01:43:00--> 01:43:03

the people who adopted the right narrative, who

01:43:03--> 01:43:05

supported the right narrative, who were patient in

01:43:05--> 01:43:07

light of the false narrative being spread,

01:43:07--> 01:43:09

what does what does Allah say? They will

01:43:09--> 01:43:11

be driven to paradise in groups.

01:43:12--> 01:43:12

And, subhanAllah,

01:43:14--> 01:43:16

there's a subtlety, because Allah says,

01:43:16--> 01:43:18

about the people of Jannam,

01:43:18--> 01:43:20

that they will be driven in groups to

01:43:20--> 01:43:22

the doors of Jannam and find it shut.

01:43:22--> 01:43:25

I imagine when you're driven with such ferociousness,

01:43:27--> 01:43:28

right? And

01:43:28--> 01:43:30

you're filled with fear because you've just also

01:43:30--> 01:43:32

finished your standing in front of Allah, and

01:43:32--> 01:43:34

the driving is fear. It's ferocious.

01:43:35--> 01:43:37

And then you know what's to what's to

01:43:37--> 01:43:39

come is severe. When you get there, the

01:43:39--> 01:43:40

doors are shut.

01:43:41--> 01:43:42

It's not one of those things where you

01:43:42--> 01:43:44

just you know, it just happens before you

01:43:44--> 01:43:44

can even

01:43:45--> 01:43:48

contemplate what's going on. You're in it. No.

01:43:48--> 01:43:50

You get a moment where you're stuck,

01:43:50--> 01:43:52

and now you can anticipate what's to come.

01:43:52--> 01:43:54

Muhammad. Interpretation. Yes. When it comes to the

01:43:54--> 01:43:57

people of Jannah, subhanallah, Allah adds wow. Just

01:43:57--> 01:43:58

one

01:43:58--> 01:43:58

letter.

01:43:59--> 01:44:01

Wow. Just wow. One letter, Subhanallah. And that

01:44:01--> 01:44:03

creates a world of difference in the meaning

01:44:03--> 01:44:06

that Allah will honor the people who support

01:44:06--> 01:44:07

the right narrative

01:44:08--> 01:44:10

by experiencing Jannah before Jannah.

01:44:12--> 01:44:13

That you will be driven to Jannah,

01:44:14--> 01:44:17

and you won't even have to get there

01:44:17--> 01:44:19

and say, ah, subhanAllah, the doors are closed.

01:44:19--> 01:44:21

When is it gonna open? That you will

01:44:21--> 01:44:23

experience Jannah before Jannah. Jannah. You will get

01:44:23--> 01:44:24

there, and Jannah will welcome you. It will

01:44:24--> 01:44:26

be all ready for you, SubhanAllah.

01:44:27--> 01:44:29

So no doubt, this is the discourse,

01:44:30--> 01:44:32

you know, the Qur'anic discourse

01:44:32--> 01:44:36

teaching us about mankind since ever. It's always

01:44:36--> 01:44:39

been a false narrative versus a true narrative.

01:44:39--> 01:44:42

And at times, the false narrative was louder

01:44:42--> 01:44:44

than the true narrative. But

01:44:44--> 01:44:46

all the time, with consistency,

01:44:47--> 01:44:48

the true narrative

01:44:48--> 01:44:50

overcame the false narrative.

01:44:50--> 01:44:52

So as we move into different eras, it's

01:44:52--> 01:44:54

the same story, just different actors.

01:44:55--> 01:44:58

Mhmm. In terms of even the Quran,

01:44:58--> 01:44:59

talking about the Hawamim.

01:45:00--> 01:45:02

I can't remember who it was. 1 of

01:45:02--> 01:45:03

the Mushrikeen, the leaders of the Mushrikeen,

01:45:04--> 01:45:06

he was, you know, sent to the prophet

01:45:07--> 01:45:09

Abu Wali, there was a Wa'ilah.

01:45:11--> 01:45:12

The name escapes me.

01:45:13--> 01:45:14

And he was being, you know, he was

01:45:14--> 01:45:16

interrogating the prophet being kind of rude, and

01:45:16--> 01:45:18

they were you know, his his team was

01:45:18--> 01:45:21

kind of, like, you know, egging him on.

01:45:21--> 01:45:22

And then they saw him,

01:45:22--> 01:45:25

you know, his whole demeanor change. They couldn't

01:45:25--> 01:45:27

hear what the prophet was saying to him.

01:45:27--> 01:45:28

Yeah. And,

01:45:29--> 01:45:31

it turns out he was reciting just simple

01:45:31--> 01:45:34

his response was simply reciting the first 13

01:45:34--> 01:45:35

ayat of Surah Fosilat.

01:45:35--> 01:45:38

Yes. Yes. I think it's a Akbar. Okay.

01:45:39--> 01:45:40

Abouwidd?

01:45:41--> 01:45:43

I am yeah. I know I know the

01:45:43--> 01:45:45

the the the context that you're sharing. And,

01:45:45--> 01:45:47

also, when he went back to the Quraysh,

01:45:49--> 01:45:51

he claimed that I didn't understand if anything

01:45:51--> 01:45:53

that he was saying except the part of

01:45:53--> 01:45:56

the punishment that will come. Saika. That there's

01:45:56--> 01:45:57

gonna be the Saika.

01:45:58--> 01:45:59

Right? There's gonna be the to to to

01:45:59--> 01:46:00

cover the mouth of the prophet, sallallahu alaihi

01:46:00--> 01:46:00

wa sallam.

01:46:02--> 01:46:04

Like, you know, he said that that's enough.

01:46:04--> 01:46:06

That's enough. No. Don't recite anymore. Yeah. So

01:46:06--> 01:46:08

so, you know, that that's the lesson. Right?

01:46:08--> 01:46:09

Same same,

01:46:10--> 01:46:10

message,

01:46:11--> 01:46:13

same story, different actors, and the lesson's the

01:46:13--> 01:46:14

same,

01:46:14--> 01:46:15

that

01:46:16--> 01:46:18

across all eras, even those who stand on

01:46:18--> 01:46:21

the side of the false narrative, deep down,

01:46:21--> 01:46:22

they know

01:46:22--> 01:46:24

that it's false. Deep deep down, they have

01:46:24--> 01:46:26

moments. If they don't know, at least they've

01:46:26--> 01:46:26

had moments,

01:46:27--> 01:46:28

but they choose to

01:46:29--> 01:46:31

use arrogance to treat that moment

01:46:32--> 01:46:33

as opposed to being objective.

01:46:33--> 01:46:34

So,

01:46:35--> 01:46:37

there's no profit to come. This has to

01:46:37--> 01:46:38

keep on reminding,

01:46:39--> 01:46:40

keep on standing,

01:46:40--> 01:46:41

keep on delivering,

01:46:41--> 01:46:42

keep on

01:46:42--> 01:46:44

pushing, keep on, you know,

01:46:45--> 01:46:47

being in that space because there's no solution

01:46:47--> 01:46:49

for humanity except the collective effort of the

01:46:49--> 01:46:50

Ummah Muhammad

01:46:51--> 01:46:52

So just, you know, if we can circle

01:46:52--> 01:46:54

it back to the question that Tariq asked,

01:46:54--> 01:46:56

why is the work of,

01:46:56--> 01:46:57

Islam 21 c,

01:46:58--> 01:47:00

important it's important for for for for many

01:47:00--> 01:47:01

reasons for many reasons.

01:47:02--> 01:47:03

The prophet,

01:47:05--> 01:47:06

he

01:47:06--> 01:47:07

did this work,

01:47:08--> 01:47:09

and that's how we really have to see

01:47:09--> 01:47:10

it. Yes. Okay. We might be doing it

01:47:10--> 01:47:12

a different way, but he actually did this

01:47:12--> 01:47:13

work,

01:47:14--> 01:47:16

just as he helped the poor and the

01:47:16--> 01:47:18

needy, and he supported the destitute, and he

01:47:18--> 01:47:19

stood with the widows,

01:47:20--> 01:47:22

and he preached Islam. He did dua, and

01:47:22--> 01:47:24

he taught the new Muslims. So all the

01:47:24--> 01:47:25

work of the prophet

01:47:25--> 01:47:27

all these projects that we have

01:47:28--> 01:47:31

that we call charitable projects that have been

01:47:31--> 01:47:32

established as institutions.

01:47:34--> 01:47:37

Right? They really are established to do the

01:47:37--> 01:47:38

work of the prophet

01:47:39--> 01:47:40

anyone sees from

01:47:41--> 01:47:43

there. Shaikh, you reminded me of when when

01:47:43--> 01:47:45

we did when we're doing, one of our

01:47:45--> 01:47:46

tours with you,

01:47:47--> 01:47:48

we're driving around the country

01:47:49--> 01:47:51

with Sheikh Sajid Omar on, I think part

01:47:51--> 01:47:52

of the, the oil campaign.

01:47:53--> 01:47:54

Yeah. So I I remember mentioning.

01:47:57--> 01:47:57

No. No.

01:47:58--> 01:48:00

What's what's the fruit? What's the consequences of

01:48:00--> 01:48:03

Hatmih Nabuwad? We all talk about Hatmih Nabuwad

01:48:03--> 01:48:05

that the prophet is the final messenger.

01:48:05--> 01:48:07

And the penny dropped. It's something we all

01:48:07--> 01:48:09

know intuitively but when you mention it once

01:48:09--> 01:48:11

and then I had the benefit of hearing

01:48:11--> 01:48:12

it like 10 times because we're on the

01:48:12--> 01:48:13

same tour.

01:48:14--> 01:48:16

It really kind of drummed into me that

01:48:16--> 01:48:19

you you know the point of the prophet

01:48:19--> 01:48:21

being the last and final messenger isn't just

01:48:21--> 01:48:23

a theoretical thing that you can debate about.

01:48:24--> 01:48:25

The fruit of it is,

01:48:26--> 01:48:28

hey, guess what? There's no more profits coming.

01:48:29--> 01:48:32

This job is inherited by this entire Ummah

01:48:32--> 01:48:32

now.

01:48:33--> 01:48:35

And that really kind of stuck in my

01:48:35--> 01:48:36

head. I always repeat that to brothers and

01:48:36--> 01:48:39

sisters that 100%. 100%. Everyone needs to feel

01:48:40--> 01:48:41

deployed

01:48:41--> 01:48:43

by the Lord of the Wells. Everyone.

01:48:45--> 01:48:46

Irrespective of your ability.

01:48:47--> 01:48:50

Right? So but you have to feel deployed.

01:48:50--> 01:48:53

And everyone who's deployed has to return back

01:48:53--> 01:48:55

to base. When you get back to base,

01:48:55--> 01:48:56

you will be questioned.

01:48:57--> 01:48:59

That's the reality. It's it comes with the

01:48:59--> 01:49:01

stripes. So we're all deployed.

01:49:01--> 01:49:03

Yeah. I mean, and we've been stationed.

01:49:03--> 01:49:06

And Islam shouldn't be attacked from our station.

01:49:06--> 01:49:09

So we need to feel that responsibility. That's

01:49:09--> 01:49:10

what it is. You know, you we have

01:49:10--> 01:49:12

to feel it. We have to feel it.

01:49:13--> 01:49:15

And, even this whole idea of Islam and

01:49:15--> 01:49:18

spreading Islam and its making its mercy and

01:49:18--> 01:49:20

its justice and its wisdom and its transformative

01:49:20--> 01:49:22

benefit be felt by the wider,

01:49:23--> 01:49:26

globe, the wider communities of the globe.

01:49:26--> 01:49:29

It can't be just, you know,

01:49:30--> 01:49:32

words that we string together.

01:49:32--> 01:49:34

It can't be an idea that makes us

01:49:34--> 01:49:37

feel good and something that's at the back

01:49:37--> 01:49:39

of our mind. And, you know, I have

01:49:39--> 01:49:41

thousands of things to do.

01:49:41--> 01:49:42

Yeah, when I'm done with that, then there's

01:49:42--> 01:49:44

this no. No. No. No. It's it's then

01:49:44--> 01:49:48

wishful thinking. It's wishful thinking. You know, if

01:49:48--> 01:49:49

if we really want this

01:49:50--> 01:49:51

izzah

01:49:51--> 01:49:53

to come to the ummah,

01:49:54--> 01:49:55

then it has to be at the forefront

01:49:55--> 01:49:57

of our minds and our hearts and our

01:49:57--> 01:49:57

thoughts.

01:49:58--> 01:50:00

We wake up thinking about it. We go

01:50:00--> 01:50:01

to sleep thinking about it. That is the

01:50:01--> 01:50:03

mandate. But if we're gonna live our lives

01:50:03--> 01:50:07

about me, myself, I, my kids, my bills,

01:50:07--> 01:50:08

their schools, which school they're gonna go to,

01:50:08--> 01:50:10

the house I wanna buy,

01:50:10--> 01:50:12

and you know, my job, my promotion.

01:50:12--> 01:50:15

And then after all of that, and oh

01:50:15--> 01:50:17

yes, You know, Islam and Islam, they're spreading.

01:50:18--> 01:50:20

Then this is wishful thinking. We're not gonna

01:50:20--> 01:50:21

we're not gonna do we we know

01:50:22--> 01:50:23

we're not serious,

01:50:24--> 01:50:25

about this.

01:50:26--> 01:50:26

You know?

01:50:27--> 01:50:29

When you when you, you know, when you

01:50:29--> 01:50:29

travel

01:50:29--> 01:50:31

and you sit in this big plane, 4

01:50:31--> 01:50:33

engines, and it's on the runway,

01:50:34--> 01:50:35

it it screams,

01:50:37--> 01:50:40

right, to get it into the air. And

01:50:40--> 01:50:40

it's screaming

01:50:41--> 01:50:44

as it gets to 40,000 feet. When it

01:50:44--> 01:50:46

gets to 40,000 feet, it's settled. You can

01:50:46--> 01:50:48

even switch off 2 engines. You hardly hear

01:50:48--> 01:50:50

the engines. It's moving.

01:50:50--> 01:50:51

Right? So this is the same thing. If

01:50:51--> 01:50:54

you wanna get this idea off the ground,

01:50:54--> 01:50:57

you know, of Islam and Rizah and turning

01:50:57--> 01:50:58

on and and and, you know, the the

01:50:58--> 01:51:00

the honor of Islam being felt by the

01:51:00--> 01:51:02

people of the wider globe, then we need

01:51:02--> 01:51:03

screaming engines.

01:51:04--> 01:51:05

People need to we we don't need to

01:51:05--> 01:51:07

be asking. People need to be coming forth

01:51:08--> 01:51:10

and saying, listen, guys. You're doing a great

01:51:10--> 01:51:12

job. This is something that you can do,

01:51:12--> 01:51:13

I cannot do, but I want to support

01:51:13--> 01:51:15

you doing it. Keep at it, and here

01:51:15--> 01:51:17

you go. That's the idea. That we trade

01:51:17--> 01:51:19

with Allah. We show Allah that in the

01:51:19--> 01:51:22

front of our minds and hearts, we are

01:51:22--> 01:51:23

true

01:51:23--> 01:51:26

to our la ilaha illa Muhammadu Rasoolallah covenant

01:51:26--> 01:51:28

with Him. That we understand we deployed,

01:51:28--> 01:51:29

and we haven't forgotten.

01:51:31--> 01:51:33

So if anything, you know, these projects, they're

01:51:33--> 01:51:35

a mercy to the community because,

01:51:36--> 01:51:38

it's just easier. Right? Just donate,

01:51:39--> 01:51:41

and, don't think of it as a donation.

01:51:41--> 01:51:42

Think of it as an investment. I always

01:51:42--> 01:51:44

say this, guys, because donate has a negative

01:51:44--> 01:51:44

consequence.

01:51:45--> 01:51:46

Mhmm. We feel like, you know, we've given

01:51:46--> 01:51:49

up a piece of ourselves. No. You're investing.

01:51:49--> 01:51:51

Go trade with Allah. Go trade with Allah.

01:51:51--> 01:51:53

And no amount is small, alhamdulillah.

01:51:53--> 01:51:55

As long as the project's reputable, the people

01:51:55--> 01:51:56

are reputable.

01:51:57--> 01:51:58

And this trust extended

01:51:59--> 01:52:00

that you're not throwing your money down a

01:52:00--> 01:52:02

pit, but you actually it's gonna create an

01:52:02--> 01:52:03

impact.

01:52:05--> 01:52:07

Trade with Allah through the project.

01:52:07--> 01:52:09

And feel free to ask the project for

01:52:09--> 01:52:10

an impact report. And I know it's not

01:52:10--> 01:52:13

21. See, every, 12 months, they release an

01:52:13--> 01:52:15

impact report to show, you know, what impact

01:52:15--> 01:52:17

has been created, how the needle has sort

01:52:17--> 01:52:20

of moved up in terms of the mission

01:52:20--> 01:52:21

of the project,

01:52:21--> 01:52:22

and,

01:52:22--> 01:52:23

what

01:52:24--> 01:52:24

contribution,

01:52:25--> 01:52:28

a person's investment had towards that need needle

01:52:28--> 01:52:29

going up.

01:52:31--> 01:52:33

Mhmm. Are you okay?

01:52:33--> 01:52:35

If you look like you've been really impacted

01:52:35--> 01:52:37

by what the sheikh is saying. No.

01:52:38--> 01:52:40

It's very beneficial. And, Sheik, one of the

01:52:40--> 01:52:42

things when you mention these things that I

01:52:42--> 01:52:42

always think about

01:52:43--> 01:52:45

is, you know, being involved in different organizations,

01:52:45--> 01:52:48

you come to realize that there are literally

01:52:48--> 01:52:50

100, if not thousands, of organizations out there

01:52:50--> 01:52:51

doing

01:52:51--> 01:52:55

phenomenal work. But but primarily humanitarian work seems

01:52:55--> 01:52:57

to be to be what what we're most

01:52:57--> 01:52:58

attracted to as a community.

01:52:59--> 01:52:59

And,

01:53:00--> 01:53:02

one of the conversations we were having earlier,

01:53:02--> 01:53:04

myself and Saman, was this idea that if

01:53:04--> 01:53:05

we were to take, then we call it

01:53:05--> 01:53:06

the crime baby effect. If you were to

01:53:06--> 01:53:08

show a starving baby suffering,

01:53:09--> 01:53:10

that naturally would predisposition

01:53:11--> 01:53:11

to,

01:53:12--> 01:53:14

you know, when you see suffering, there's something

01:53:14--> 01:53:16

inside you that wants to respond. But as

01:53:16--> 01:53:17

a community,

01:53:17--> 01:53:20

we need to see more, you know, more

01:53:21--> 01:53:23

more balance between supporting

01:53:24--> 01:53:27

the the urgent versus supporting

01:53:27--> 01:53:28

the the important.

01:53:29--> 01:53:31

And there's always gonna be urgent needs. There's

01:53:31--> 01:53:32

always gonna be humanitarian crises.

01:53:33--> 01:53:35

There's always gonna be, you know, a flood

01:53:35--> 01:53:38

here, a catastrophe there, and we need to

01:53:38--> 01:53:39

respond and help as much as we can.

01:53:39--> 01:53:42

But there is a disproportionate amount of institutes

01:53:43--> 01:53:45

like Islam 21c and others

01:53:46--> 01:53:47

that are are fighting

01:53:48--> 01:53:50

what some might say is is the greater

01:53:50--> 01:53:52

battle, the more strategic battle, the more long

01:53:52--> 01:53:54

term battle. Mhmm. And I just wanted to

01:53:54--> 01:53:57

get your thoughts on this. Yeah. Absolutely. Look.

01:53:57--> 01:53:59

You always gonna have proactive

01:54:00--> 01:54:01

institutions,

01:54:02--> 01:54:03

but you need proactive institutions

01:54:04--> 01:54:04

as well.

01:54:09--> 01:54:11

That's just the the reality. And if we're

01:54:11--> 01:54:13

always gonna focus on reaction, reaction, reaction, then

01:54:13--> 01:54:15

we're putting ourselves in a vortex because,

01:54:19--> 01:54:20

reacting to things is expensive.

01:54:21--> 01:54:23

It's it's it's resource intensive,

01:54:23--> 01:54:25

and it's also expensive.

01:54:25--> 01:54:27

So time needs to come when equilibrium

01:54:27--> 01:54:29

sort of is felt. It might take a

01:54:29--> 01:54:30

century for it to happen, but we need

01:54:30--> 01:54:33

start. That process needs to start. The process

01:54:33--> 01:54:34

needs to start. So we need to have

01:54:34--> 01:54:36

a vision with our our charitable

01:54:36--> 01:54:37

endeavors as well.

01:54:38--> 01:54:39

Now it should be,

01:54:40--> 01:54:42

that, you know, we spend our money for

01:54:42--> 01:54:43

the sake of Allah

01:54:43--> 01:54:44

with a vision,

01:54:45--> 01:54:47

and we're not driven purely by emotion.

01:54:47--> 01:54:49

We're understanding the landscape.

01:54:49--> 01:54:50

We're understanding

01:54:51--> 01:54:53

our duty, the things we spoke about just

01:54:53--> 01:54:56

now, and what's important. And make sure that

01:54:56--> 01:54:58

we as we diversify

01:54:58--> 01:54:59

our wealthy investment

01:55:00--> 01:55:03

by spreading our money across a basket

01:55:04--> 01:55:05

of business opportunity.

01:55:06--> 01:55:07

We do the same

01:55:08--> 01:55:10

when we invest with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

01:55:11--> 01:55:13

So we have portions for reaction reactive projects,

01:55:13--> 01:55:15

and we have portion for the proactive,

01:55:16--> 01:55:17

projects.

01:55:17--> 01:55:18

Yeah.

01:55:18--> 01:55:20

Yeah. Exactly. Well, brothers and sisters, you had

01:55:20--> 01:55:21

it there from Sheikh Sajid,

01:55:22--> 01:55:25

himself. So according on you to a portion

01:55:25--> 01:55:26

some of those

01:55:27--> 01:55:28

some of those means

01:55:28--> 01:55:30

that you have available to you towards Islam

01:55:30--> 01:55:33

21 c. Our target tonight is 5,000. We'll

01:55:33--> 01:55:34

get an update shortly. I know we went

01:55:34--> 01:55:36

past the 1,000 mark quite a while

01:55:36--> 01:55:39

ago. But we are coming towards an end

01:55:39--> 01:55:39

of

01:55:40--> 01:55:42

our of our presentation, of our webinar.

01:55:42--> 01:55:45

But we're We've got some, takmils outstanding.

01:55:46--> 01:55:48

Oh, we'll get to those inshallah. But

01:55:48--> 01:55:50

the the ones that Sheikh has approved of

01:55:50--> 01:55:51

course, right?

01:55:51--> 01:55:53

But brothers and sisters, inshallah, for those still

01:55:53--> 01:55:55

watching, for those who are listening, remember we

01:55:55--> 01:55:58

are calling on 50 people, right,

01:55:58--> 01:56:01

to give a £100 each up. We we

01:56:01--> 01:56:03

got to 10 of those. We're on 40

01:56:03--> 01:56:05

last. We'll get a quick update

01:56:05--> 01:56:07

to find out how many more of those

01:56:07--> 01:56:08

that we need.

01:56:09--> 01:56:09

We've had £500

01:56:10--> 01:56:12

donations, £100 donations, £50 donations,

01:56:13--> 01:56:16

and this blessed month Ramadan with the days

01:56:16--> 01:56:18

that are very quickly departing, we are in

01:56:18--> 01:56:19

a odd night where we still have an

01:56:19--> 01:56:20

opportunity inshallah.

01:56:22--> 01:56:23

We are currently at

01:56:24--> 01:56:24

1,100

01:56:25--> 01:56:28

of our 5,000 target. So we've slowed down

01:56:28--> 01:56:29

a little bit, brothers and sisters, in the

01:56:29--> 01:56:30

last 30 minutes.

01:56:31--> 01:56:33

I think I've become engulfed in share's talk,

01:56:33--> 01:56:36

and we need to start getting your support.

01:56:36--> 01:56:38

Now you've heard the words of encouragement, so

01:56:38--> 01:56:40

we need some calls in and shout in

01:56:40--> 01:56:42

the studio. Call us on 07769-433-4414.

01:56:44--> 01:56:46

You go to islam21c.comforward/live.

01:56:48--> 01:56:49

Make a donation there.

01:56:51--> 01:56:53

We are looking for 39 more people to

01:56:53--> 01:56:55

give a £100 towards this project.

01:56:56--> 01:56:58

You can also call in and make a

01:56:58--> 01:56:59

donation.

01:56:59--> 01:57:01

The number is gonna be at the bottom

01:57:01--> 01:57:02

of your screen. So brothers and sisters,

01:57:03--> 01:57:06

final moments of our webinar inshallah. Just wanna

01:57:06--> 01:57:09

say to Sheikh Sajid for joining us. We

01:57:09--> 01:57:11

know it's busy for you, Sheikh. We'll accept

01:57:11--> 01:57:12

all your efforts, all your sacrifices.

01:57:12--> 01:57:14

I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean,

01:57:14--> 01:57:14

God forbid

01:57:15--> 01:57:17

Any final words for our viewers from yourself

01:57:18--> 01:57:19

before Yeah. I just saw,

01:57:20--> 01:57:22

I didn't know there were comments. I I

01:57:22--> 01:57:24

went to landscape now on the advice of

01:57:24--> 01:57:25

AKF.

01:57:27--> 01:57:29

You guys should have told me, earlier because

01:57:29--> 01:57:30

I had it,

01:57:31--> 01:57:33

You don't wanna break the flow, sir. Fair,

01:57:33--> 01:57:35

inshallah. I I I have it like this.

01:57:36--> 01:57:36

And,

01:57:37--> 01:57:38

so you're looking for,

01:57:39--> 01:57:41

how many people to donate? £100? What do

01:57:41--> 01:57:43

you say? We need 39 more people, inshallah,

01:57:43--> 01:57:44

to give a £100.

01:57:45--> 01:57:45

39.

01:57:46--> 01:57:47

I believe we have a lot more than

01:57:47--> 01:57:49

that watching right now, so that should be

01:57:49--> 01:57:50

possible, inshallah.

01:57:51--> 01:57:53

I'll start. I'll I'll I'll do £100.

01:57:53--> 01:57:54

Allah. Mhmm.

01:57:55--> 01:57:56

38 inshallah.

01:57:56--> 01:57:58

So I can Which which which celebration do

01:57:58--> 01:57:59

you want, Shaykh? Which do you want the

01:57:59--> 01:58:01

nari takbir, or do you want the masha'allah,

01:58:01--> 01:58:02

brother?

01:58:03--> 01:58:04

Masha'allah, brother.

01:58:06--> 01:58:09

Let's go, Samad. I need to, queue up.

01:58:09--> 01:58:11

One second. He had the Nadi Takbi already

01:58:11--> 01:58:12

checked. That's the problem.

01:58:13--> 01:58:14

Masha'Allah, brother.

01:58:37--> 01:58:38

Brothers watching.

01:58:39--> 01:58:41

You're on 39. The Sherk has helped us

01:58:41--> 01:58:44

out without the 38 spots. These are spots

01:58:44--> 01:58:46

remaining for you inshallah to get a 100

01:58:46--> 01:58:48

pound donation. Saman, I think we've only got

01:58:48--> 01:58:49

a minute left.

01:58:51--> 01:58:53

We got a call going on. Let's go

01:58:53--> 01:58:54

for the call. We're just trying to call

01:58:54--> 01:58:56

in. We can stretch it out a little

01:58:56--> 01:58:58

bit. Inshallah. How many people do we have

01:58:58--> 01:58:59

watching? Let's find out.

01:59:00--> 01:59:01

Let's get an update from the team in

01:59:01--> 01:59:02

the back. A 118

01:59:03--> 01:59:05

people watching. Well, that's peak. What's the peak?

01:59:06--> 01:59:07

Live at the moment.

01:59:10--> 01:59:12

So, hey, brothers and sisters. Let's see who

01:59:12--> 01:59:14

we'd call them. Someone's messaging saying, they were

01:59:14--> 01:59:17

calling, but, couldn't answer because sheikh was speaking.

01:59:18--> 01:59:19

So they're just saying I'm doing I'm making

01:59:19--> 01:59:20

dua for us

01:59:22--> 01:59:24

And he said he's gonna donate £1,000,000.

01:59:24--> 01:59:25

Just kidding.

01:59:27--> 01:59:29

So he's gonna he's gonna do something inshallah.

01:59:30--> 01:59:33

May the blessing We also we've, missed out

01:59:33--> 01:59:34

some, shout

01:59:35--> 01:59:36

We had,

01:59:38--> 01:59:38

we had,

01:59:40--> 01:59:42

you look sleep. No. No. That's something else.

01:59:42--> 01:59:44

We had Anas Mateen donating.

01:59:46--> 01:59:48

Omar Rana donating as well.

01:59:48--> 01:59:50

May Allah bless you both. All all our

01:59:50--> 01:59:52

brothers, sisters listening as well.

01:59:52--> 01:59:55

Anyone just whether it's £1, £1,000,000,

01:59:56--> 01:59:58

the intention accounts well, I'm getting a call

01:59:58--> 01:59:58

now from

01:59:59--> 02:00:00

Abu Talha, I believe it is.

02:00:09--> 02:00:10

How are you doing?

02:00:12--> 02:00:13

Good. This is Abu Talha.

02:00:14--> 02:00:17

Well, that's his online persona name at least.

02:00:17--> 02:00:18

Don't don't expose his,

02:00:21--> 02:00:22

don't expose his real identity.

02:00:23--> 02:00:25

He'll get fired from his calls calls.

02:00:26--> 02:00:28

Yeah. Just You know you know, Salman Salman,

02:00:28--> 02:00:30

he does so much good work, and he's

02:00:30--> 02:00:32

got so much effect on me that I've

02:00:32--> 02:00:34

just quickly popped up PM. Just have a

02:00:34--> 02:00:36

quick chat. I'm going back in 2

02:00:37--> 02:00:37

minutes.

02:00:40--> 02:00:40

Yeah. Normally

02:00:42--> 02:00:44

when he calls, people from in the call

02:00:44--> 02:00:46

center job during his day job, he he

02:00:46--> 02:00:47

he says my name is Sebastian. Yeah.

02:00:50--> 02:00:51

But no. I keep it halal. I keep

02:00:51--> 02:00:52

it halal, isn't it?

02:00:55--> 02:00:56

How's it going, bro?

02:00:57--> 02:00:59

Abhaylah. How's it going with you, doctor? Alhamdulillah.

02:01:00--> 02:01:02

So I learnt I learnt your today.

02:01:06--> 02:01:08

It's a bit late for, by year, Hamda

02:01:08--> 02:01:09

still. You're gonna go in another kiln? Better

02:01:09--> 02:01:10

late than never. Right?

02:01:11--> 02:01:13

Uh-huh. Always better late than than never, my

02:01:13--> 02:01:15

brother. May Allah bless you. Zach LaFaid. So,

02:01:15--> 02:01:17

look, you you've got you're short on time.

02:01:17--> 02:01:19

You're welcome. You're short on time. You gotta

02:01:19--> 02:01:21

get back to what you have. That's that's

02:01:21--> 02:01:23

all for you. But what about for the

02:01:23--> 02:01:25

ummah now? How are you doing for ummah?

02:01:27--> 02:01:29

So inshallah, we'll just be doing something little

02:01:30--> 02:01:31

for now. It's a bit late.

02:01:32--> 02:01:33

Will this be a £100, inshallah?

02:01:35--> 02:01:36

How how far?

02:01:38--> 02:01:39

But don't put the knot back on. Yeah?

02:01:39--> 02:01:41

No. No. Don't put that back on, bro.

02:01:41--> 02:01:43

Yeah. She has to do no halal, so

02:01:43--> 02:01:43

it's fine.

02:01:45--> 02:01:46

Okay.

02:01:47--> 02:01:50

Fair enough. Just just just find something better

02:01:50--> 02:01:51

for tomorrow. Yes? Okay.

02:01:52--> 02:01:54

That's gonna be able to has contribution as

02:01:54--> 02:01:56

well. A 100 pound plus Yeah.

02:01:57--> 02:01:59

£100 plus a new sound effect.

02:02:00--> 02:02:00

Yeah.

02:02:02--> 02:02:04

No. Let me tell you something. Yeah. Yeah.

02:02:04--> 02:02:04

Let me tell you something.

02:02:06--> 02:02:08

You know, I'm actually fundraising for. Yeah. Everything

02:02:08--> 02:02:10

else. No. This is only for Raza, and

02:02:10--> 02:02:11

that's it. Yeah.

02:02:12--> 02:02:13

But then I thought, you know what it

02:02:13--> 02:02:14

is?

02:02:15--> 02:02:17

Raza and the Philistines don't only need

02:02:26--> 02:02:28

for 6 months because they've been going to

02:02:28--> 02:02:30

onshore all the time. But for this to

02:02:30--> 02:02:32

sustain for 6 months on, there has to

02:02:32--> 02:02:33

be

02:02:34--> 02:02:38

a a united effort across multiple fronts, across

02:02:38--> 02:02:39

multiple media and Muslim organizations

02:02:40--> 02:02:42

that are keeping this cause alive. Otherwise,

02:02:43--> 02:02:45

for 2 weeks, headline news, and it's gonna

02:02:45--> 02:02:47

go. That's where everyone put. Yeah? Why is

02:02:47--> 02:02:48

it still alive?

02:02:48--> 02:02:50

Is organizations like keeping

02:02:50--> 02:02:52

it as well? Like, The work might seem

02:02:52--> 02:02:54

like, oh, you know, they just this small

02:02:54--> 02:02:56

website, whatever it may be, relatively speaking, compared

02:02:56--> 02:02:58

to BBC or CNN. Yeah? It's not mainstream

02:02:58--> 02:03:00

media. Yeah? But what do we need to

02:03:00--> 02:03:02

case together to mainstream media so that the

02:03:02--> 02:03:04

narrative stays alive, so the Dawah stays alive?

02:03:04--> 02:03:05

Yeah? Yeah.

02:03:06--> 02:03:08

Because you see, we are a dean of

02:03:08--> 02:03:11

believers, not just followers. Yeah? We need believers.

02:03:11--> 02:03:13

That means we need a lot of narratives

02:03:13--> 02:03:15

that needs to go out. Yeah? So I

02:03:15--> 02:03:16

thought, you know what it is? It's not

02:03:16--> 02:03:18

only going to be Raza. This is what

02:03:18--> 02:03:20

Gaza needs to do right now from us.

02:03:21--> 02:03:23

Gaza has told us as well. Gaza's,

02:03:24--> 02:03:27

2,000,000 people have ignited 2,000,000,000 people

02:03:27--> 02:03:29

you know, in Gaza. Yeah. Subhanallah.

02:03:30--> 02:03:32

No. I would say they've ignited the world.

02:03:32--> 02:03:34

Exactly. Exactly. And the reason why

02:03:35--> 02:03:37

the narrative is different this year this time,

02:03:37--> 02:03:39

they've been they've been, you know, mowing the

02:03:39--> 02:03:40

lawn, so to speak.

02:03:41--> 02:03:43

Every few years they go in and attack,

02:03:43--> 02:03:43

Gaza.

02:03:44--> 02:03:44

But

02:03:45--> 02:03:47

there are so many people,

02:03:47--> 02:03:49

millions, if not billions of people

02:03:49--> 02:03:51

just sick and tired and and and fighting

02:03:51--> 02:03:53

back when it comes to the the media

02:03:53--> 02:03:55

and when it comes to the narratives. We

02:03:55--> 02:03:57

have numbers, brothers and sisters, and put something

02:03:57--> 02:03:59

out about Gaza. We have the ability.

02:04:00--> 02:04:03

We don't have the the big, institutions yet,

02:04:03--> 02:04:05

but we have manpower. We have millions and

02:04:05--> 02:04:07

millions of brothers and sisters and friends, non

02:04:07--> 02:04:09

Muslim friends, that when they see the truth,

02:04:09--> 02:04:11

they share it. When they see the falsehood

02:04:12--> 02:04:14

you know, normally, I say don't focus on

02:04:15--> 02:04:17

propaganda. Don't look at it online because it

02:04:17--> 02:04:19

will get shown to more people. But now

02:04:19--> 02:04:21

when you see any, any piece of from,

02:04:22--> 02:04:25

you know, Israeli spokespeople or whatever, you see

02:04:25--> 02:04:27

underneath them, 100 of people

02:04:27--> 02:04:29

taking them out, 100 of people taking them,

02:04:29--> 02:04:31

make out of them, 100 of people,

02:04:32--> 02:04:35

fact checking. Even x now has these community,

02:04:35--> 02:04:36

what they call,

02:04:36--> 02:04:39

community something, current when when people are correcting

02:04:40--> 02:04:42

the all the false, notions. So

02:04:42--> 02:04:44

we have we have we have the ability

02:04:44--> 02:04:46

as a community, as as everyone,

02:04:47--> 02:04:49

to chip in and make something too loud

02:04:49--> 02:04:49

to ignore.

02:04:56--> 02:04:56

Still there?

02:04:58--> 02:05:00

So I'm just trying to me. I'm here.

02:05:03--> 02:05:03

Yeah.

02:05:07--> 02:05:08

So, yeah, you know what it is. You

02:05:08--> 02:05:10

know what it is, You know,

02:05:10--> 02:05:11

I was just thinking,

02:05:13--> 02:05:14

no. In fact, I completely lost my hair.

02:05:19--> 02:05:20

Yeah.

02:05:20--> 02:05:22

I am. Because I'm just trying to get

02:05:22--> 02:05:23

to the next scheme because this place is

02:05:23--> 02:05:25

already full supply. You know? The Ummah is

02:05:25--> 02:05:28

so alive. Yeah? Here, in East London, we

02:05:28--> 02:05:30

have about 7 masais at 8 PM at

02:05:30--> 02:05:31

different times. Yeah?

02:05:32--> 02:05:32

And

02:05:33--> 02:05:34

all the masars are packed.

02:05:37--> 02:05:39

Mhmm. Hopefully, you can you'll probably get 2,

02:05:39--> 02:05:41

3 rows. But now it's packed. I don't

02:05:41--> 02:05:43

know if it's a that was gonna affect.

02:05:43--> 02:05:44

I don't know what it is. This is

02:05:44--> 02:05:46

packed call. Okay.

02:05:46--> 02:05:49

And everybody is doing it. They're making duas

02:05:49--> 02:05:49

for us

02:05:50--> 02:05:51

in the PM.

02:05:52--> 02:05:53

That's, that's Of course.

02:05:54--> 02:05:56

Love it, ma'am. Of course.

02:05:56--> 02:05:58

Yeah. They they all are. They all are.

02:05:58--> 02:06:00

And before they used to shout, someone used

02:06:00--> 02:06:01

to shout away. Yeah?

02:06:02--> 02:06:03

But now

02:06:04--> 02:06:06

every other masjid, yeah, is boldly, openly just

02:06:06--> 02:06:08

making as well.

02:06:10--> 02:06:11

Yeah.

02:06:11--> 02:06:13

Give him victory in this order the next.

02:06:13--> 02:06:15

You know what I mean? Well, see, this

02:06:15--> 02:06:17

this this is what Shafaetim was mentioning at

02:06:17--> 02:06:19

one of the, events we we did recently.

02:06:20--> 02:06:21

He said that,

02:06:21--> 02:06:23

you know, we're we're looking around and we're

02:06:23--> 02:06:25

seeing all this devastation and hardship and persecution

02:06:25--> 02:06:28

and horrible stuff going on. He says that,

02:06:29--> 02:06:29

you

02:06:30--> 02:06:33

know, Allah Allah is using these events worldwide,

02:06:33--> 02:06:33

these these

02:06:34--> 02:06:37

global events to show the Muslims

02:06:38--> 02:06:39

that they need to wake up. There needs

02:06:39--> 02:06:41

to be an an inner

02:06:41--> 02:06:44

revival individually and as an Ummah.

02:06:44--> 02:06:46

And that Allah is preparing us.

02:06:47--> 02:06:50

Right? Allah is using these events to prepare

02:06:50--> 02:06:53

us, to revive us, to reinvigorate us so

02:06:53--> 02:06:55

we we wake up as Muslims and realize

02:06:56--> 02:06:59

and showcase what Islam really is and showcase

02:06:59--> 02:07:01

to the world because now is the prime

02:07:01--> 02:07:01

time

02:07:02--> 02:07:04

for us to take Islam out there, show

02:07:04--> 02:07:06

Islam what show show the world what Islam

02:07:06--> 02:07:08

is because people are looking for answers.

02:07:08--> 02:07:09

You know? If you work with any dua

02:07:09--> 02:07:11

organizations, we're involved in Iyra,

02:07:11--> 02:07:14

and the difference between 10 years ago giving

02:07:14--> 02:07:15

dua and giving 10 10 years later giving

02:07:15--> 02:07:17

dua, these people are so much more receptive.

02:07:17--> 02:07:20

They're willing to take Quran. They wanna they

02:07:20--> 02:07:22

wanna read. They wanna they they they they're

02:07:22--> 02:07:24

happy. They're, you know, have sitting on a

02:07:24--> 02:07:26

table and hanging out Qurans before was a

02:07:26--> 02:07:28

you have to build up to it and

02:07:28--> 02:07:30

explain and explain now. People come up to,

02:07:30--> 02:07:32

like, really Quran free? And and they they

02:07:32--> 02:07:34

want to read it. You know, even on

02:07:34--> 02:07:35

TikTok, there was a,

02:07:35--> 02:07:37

the the hashtag Quran

02:07:37--> 02:07:38

was trending,

02:07:38--> 02:07:40

in You know what? You know what? It

02:07:40--> 02:07:42

was trending yesterday. So funny.

02:07:42--> 02:07:44

It's the phrase may Allah.

02:07:45--> 02:07:47

Oh, really? I don't know who I what

02:07:47--> 02:07:50

the logic is, how they how they, you

02:07:50--> 02:07:52

know, trend make stuff trending. I see people

02:07:52--> 02:07:54

are making so many That many people are

02:07:54--> 02:07:56

making dots. That many people are writing.

02:07:56--> 02:07:58

So may Allah people are saying may Allah

02:07:59--> 02:08:00

whatever they were saying. And then so the

02:08:00--> 02:08:02

phrase may Allah was trending.

02:08:03--> 02:08:04

Hamdulillah.

02:08:05--> 02:08:06

That's good, man.

02:08:07--> 02:08:08

Do we have, do we have any more

02:08:08--> 02:08:09

soundbites?

02:08:11--> 02:08:13

Multitasking. I know you are somebody this soundbite

02:08:13--> 02:08:14

or somebody,

02:08:15--> 02:08:15

somebody

02:08:23--> 02:08:24

can we get the

02:08:24--> 02:08:27

can we get the emotional damage sound by

02:08:27--> 02:08:29

on Salman's audio list? We'll we'll we'll try

02:08:29--> 02:08:30

and get that for tomorrow,

02:08:31--> 02:08:33

brothers and sisters. But we're gonna need some

02:08:33--> 02:08:36

serious donations for that. Shall we, shall we

02:08:36--> 02:08:38

wrap up? It says a 131 people. I

02:08:38--> 02:08:40

feel bad wrapping up now. A lot more

02:08:40--> 02:08:42

people than joining in live. But Look. I

02:08:42--> 02:08:42

I think we

02:08:43--> 02:08:45

line. Let let let's wrap up. But what

02:08:45--> 02:08:46

we can do is before we wrap up,

02:08:46--> 02:08:48

let's just get everyone. Okay?

02:08:48--> 02:08:51

130 something odd people. You know what? If

02:08:51--> 02:08:54

we can get everyone, we're asking for 100,

02:08:54--> 02:08:56

we're off asking for fifties.

02:08:56--> 02:08:58

And look, we we do want those 100

02:08:58--> 02:08:59

to come in from those 100 and odd

02:08:59--> 02:09:02

people calling, those 100 odd people watching.

02:09:02--> 02:09:04

So if you're able to do that, if

02:09:04--> 02:09:06

Allah has blessed you with the means, then

02:09:06--> 02:09:08

don't wait till the 27th night. There's an

02:09:08--> 02:09:10

odd night here. This this could be your

02:09:10--> 02:09:12

day, it's Al Qadr. So invest that £100

02:09:12--> 02:09:15

Insha'Allah. For those that don't have the capacity,

02:09:15--> 02:09:18

okay, I would say out of the 130

02:09:18--> 02:09:20

odd people, let's say 30 can give a

02:09:20--> 02:09:21

100. Okay?

02:09:21--> 02:09:24

30 can give a 100, that's 3,000 reached.

02:09:25--> 02:09:26

Okay? And if we can get the other

02:09:26--> 02:09:28

100 people to give £10,

02:09:29--> 02:09:29

okay,

02:09:30--> 02:09:30

£10,

02:09:31--> 02:09:32

that's another 1,000.

02:09:32--> 02:09:34

Yeah? That's another £1,000.

02:09:35--> 02:09:37

So if we can get everyone right now

02:09:37--> 02:09:39

as we end this call to go on

02:09:39--> 02:09:40

and just make the donation, Don't think about

02:09:40--> 02:09:42

it. I know you probably give it to

02:09:42--> 02:09:44

other places tonight and rightly so.

02:09:44--> 02:09:46

But if we can create a little movement,

02:09:46--> 02:09:49

a nice little nice little, you know, tidal

02:09:49--> 02:09:50

wave of donations towards the end of this

02:09:50--> 02:09:51

call, Insha'Allah.

02:09:52--> 02:09:54

So brothers and sisters, think that Ramadan is

02:09:54--> 02:09:55

here for you now.

02:09:56--> 02:09:58

Blessed always says to us that life's short.

02:09:59--> 02:10:00

You don't know when you're gonna die, and

02:10:00--> 02:10:02

your objective, your duty,

02:10:02--> 02:10:04

your vision should be to do as many

02:10:04--> 02:10:06

good deed in as much possible time as

02:10:06--> 02:10:08

you can. This is one of those moments,

02:10:08--> 02:10:10

brothers and sisters, where you can take the

02:10:10--> 02:10:10

opportunity

02:10:11--> 02:10:14

and give, donate, invest as Sheikh Sajid was

02:10:14--> 02:10:14

saying

02:10:15--> 02:10:15

to

02:10:16--> 02:10:18

an organization that's really, really making a big

02:10:18--> 02:10:20

difference around the world. You know, if we

02:10:20--> 02:10:22

had more time, I'd love to talk to

02:10:22--> 02:10:24

you about some of the stories I've heard

02:10:24--> 02:10:25

of how some of these articles

02:10:26--> 02:10:29

all around the world have benefited policy makers,

02:10:29--> 02:10:30

politicians,

02:10:30--> 02:10:32

you know, and as it was once said

02:10:32--> 02:10:33

to me by one of the seniors in

02:10:33--> 02:10:34

the organization,

02:10:34--> 02:10:36

in the Dao one, should I say,

02:10:36--> 02:10:39

that there's not a mover or there's maker

02:10:39--> 02:10:40

in the Daoist scene,

02:10:40--> 02:10:43

Right? Except that they are utilizing the resources

02:10:43--> 02:10:45

that Islam 21 c are putting out. So

02:10:45--> 02:10:47

brothers and sisters, support this organization,

02:10:48--> 02:10:49

support the dua, support

02:10:50--> 02:10:51

Islam 21c's

02:10:52--> 02:10:53

efforts

02:10:53--> 02:10:56

to uplift Ummah from darkness into light Insha

02:10:56--> 02:10:57

Allah.

02:10:57--> 02:11:00

Let's see, Tarek, Razi, if you can give

02:11:00--> 02:11:02

us some final updates inshallah,

02:11:02--> 02:11:03

how much we're on,

02:11:04--> 02:11:06

and okay, no more donations.

02:11:07--> 02:11:08

So, you know, someone something funny has been

02:11:08--> 02:11:10

happening to me this Ramadan.

02:11:10--> 02:11:12

I'll go to an event. I'll do a

02:11:12--> 02:11:12

fundraiser.

02:11:13--> 02:11:16

Barely hand any hands go up. Okay? And

02:11:16--> 02:11:18

it's not because they're not giving. It's just

02:11:18--> 02:11:19

that they're not putting their hands up, but

02:11:19--> 02:11:20

they're they're giving.

02:11:20--> 02:11:21

Tonight,

02:11:21--> 02:11:22

we raised

02:11:23--> 02:11:26

another organization for Kingston Muslim Youth about £29,000,

02:11:29--> 02:11:29

£29.

02:11:31--> 02:11:33

Right? So people did not many people put

02:11:33--> 02:11:35

their hands up. I would have estimated around

02:11:35--> 02:11:36

8 or 9,000.

02:11:37--> 02:11:38

So brothers and sisters,

02:11:38--> 02:11:39

we know that hold on.

02:11:40--> 02:11:41

£1,300

02:11:42--> 02:11:42

in total.

02:11:43--> 02:11:45

Right? So that was that's a total so

02:11:45--> 02:11:47

far as we end the show. We had

02:11:47--> 02:11:48

a target of 5,000.

02:11:49--> 02:11:51

Brothers and sisters, even if we're offline,

02:11:51--> 02:11:53

the website is still live. You can still

02:11:53--> 02:11:54

go on that live link.

02:11:55--> 02:11:56

So, Man, I think we should put the

02:11:56--> 02:11:57

show back on from the start and do

02:11:57--> 02:11:58

a little loop.

02:11:59--> 02:12:01

Yeah. Yeah. Why not?

02:12:02--> 02:12:04

Keep keep the the audio rolling Insha'Allah.

02:12:06--> 02:12:08

So, brother, sisters, someone, any final words from

02:12:08--> 02:12:11

you? Just to remember, brother and sisters, when

02:12:11--> 02:12:13

reason why we cut up these live streams,

02:12:15--> 02:12:17

spread them across 10 nights, made them quite

02:12:17--> 02:12:18

short compared

02:12:18--> 02:12:20

to maybe other live streams or in in

02:12:20--> 02:12:22

the in the past It's so we can

02:12:22--> 02:12:25

all make use of all these moments of

02:12:25--> 02:12:27

these last final few nights of Ramadan. So

02:12:27--> 02:12:29

make sure you've done your now.

02:12:31--> 02:12:33

Pray some more. If you're at home or

02:12:33--> 02:12:34

doing family masjid,

02:12:35--> 02:12:37

recite in Quran. Remember the dua of the

02:12:37--> 02:12:39

prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam encourages to make

02:12:40--> 02:12:40

and

02:12:44--> 02:12:46

and and keep keep,

02:12:47--> 02:12:49

you know, making, the most of

02:12:50--> 02:12:53

these, precious few, moments that we have left

02:12:53--> 02:12:55

over the last, 10 nights of Ramadan.

02:12:56--> 02:12:57

With one of the reason why we're doing

02:12:57--> 02:13:00

these short short streams is so we

02:13:00--> 02:13:02

can diversify our.

02:13:02--> 02:13:04

Do the do the masjid. Do the ishar.

02:13:04--> 02:13:05

Do the,

02:13:05--> 02:13:07

do the do the,

02:13:08--> 02:13:09

you know, do the

02:13:10--> 02:13:12

do the Quran, and do the supporting the

02:13:12--> 02:13:15

Ummah as well. And, and, standing up for

02:13:15--> 02:13:16

our brothers and sisters,

02:13:17--> 02:13:19

in in Gaza and wherever they're suffering.

02:13:19--> 02:13:21

So, brothers and sisters.

02:13:21--> 02:13:23

That's it for me. And,
